Every single time i try and edit a Theme Chooser theme, it always says I've waited too long! I've stayed on the tab the whole time waiting for it to provide a link?!?!?! I go to the pickup page, and there's nothing there!!!! Is there a reliable site i can use instead? one that ACTUALLY WORKS?!?!?!!! [/rant]
The themes take a little while to cook, depending when you do it but say half hour to be safe. They give you a number for the file they will cook you. If for some reason it doesn't show up on the pickup page expand the box to all downloads and see if it is there, they hold the files for 12 hours.

7: XDA Live 3
8: XDA Vista
9: XDA WM06
10: none, just leave it alone!

Can you put some of those nifty voting buttons on this thread? I like #6, myself
I like #8 and #9 the same
nifty buttons added, I had a phone call in the middle of the post.
-mix
#8 had better win, you bastards...
This is a 24hr poll.

What nice work! So many are drop dead georgeous. I chose Live Glow, mainly because I'd prefer a darker splash when rebooting the PPC indoors, don't like the bright flash of a white or light background screen. Plus it's mentions WM6 as well.
#6 and #8 are both great, I just preferred the matching Today theme for #8 (sorry #6!)
I like 6 & 8.
If I had to choose one, then 6.
Let me know if you think it would be useful to collect all of the today theme's and splash screens for WM06 in a thread and link them to the wiki. I usually like to see what I am d/l first so just files on a ftp are not always useful.

Considering we can download these files and drop them in our \Windows directory to change the OS splash screen (hint, hint), that would be very useful! Thanks Mix!
Just so everyone remembers, I will embedd the today theme that matches #8 (WMXL Areo) and the Black WMXL Today theme (both from the original contast thread) into the Rom.
Oh yeah I vote #8 although I like the black ones also...
Man... you guys are just asking for Ms to come after xda-deverlopers.
IMHO
Hi why dont have take the #41 ???
which type of voting is this?
or all or nobody
You get one vote for a splash screen that kyphur will integrate into the new rom, the rest will be placed in a thread that anyone can download. As for #41, there were only 10 spots for the poll so I could only include splash screens that had at least one vote or more. It was nothing against your design, we simply ran out of space. I will link the new thread from this poll and you post as many splash screens as you like.

Hi
before all I apologize for mine bad English.
Don't worry there is not any problem. I wanted only to know the criterions or that you have followed.
Come on people..... only 9 votes between the top two now.... it's gonna be a close call....
i think the top two are both really nice and if my personal favorite don't win, i'll just chance to it anyway....
(come on number 9)
I have created a thread and linked it into the wiki where you can start uploading your creations, today screen shots, and favorites that you download. Thanks to everyone for all of their work!

Since I may be in a meeting when this closes, attached are the two likely winners. Thanks, it has been a great way to pass the time waiting for the new ROM!

does anyone have the app or the link for the HTC home??? the one that looks like the one on the ilt/8925???
Here you go. In the future though, take a minute to search before creating a new thread. This has been touched on an almost infinite amount of times.
i found this over at the nexus one apps and themes section. It is in chinese but you can change the language to english.
-steps to turn into english-
first open the game and you will get a little popup with 2 choices click the left one. after that you should get a load up screen that says "team Top3"
after that it will take you to the log in screen and press the middle button.
It will take you to the registration screen, fill in the following:
Username:
Password:
Repeat Password:
then hit the button to register.
Enter your credentials in the log in screen and press the right button this time.
once you log in keep on pressing the most right green button until you get to another loading screen that has plants popping up from the floor. once that finishes loading press the button underneath the loading bar and you'll finally be at the homescreen with a tomb stone.
Once logged into the tombstone screen click the second pot from the left at the bottom of the screen and you should see "EN" with a check box.
can you link to where you found it? Kind of skeptical
sure i found it here forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=934017

haha from what I've read, this is a just a clone, but a really well made one
pretty sweet if you ask me, it should hold a lot of people over until the official is released
has anyone checked to see if this thing is pulling any personal data in the background? There are wall papers on the MARKET with some malicious code.. it'd be pretty easy to sneak some into a game as popular like this and sheer the sheep.
I've heard that the internet access permissions are for a chinese gaming score system or something that probably doesn't apply to most of you here but there's a bunch of people using the app with no problem or compromised data...but use at your own risk I guess

damn closes with no error after developer splash screen, epic 4g
thank you
this worked out great after figuring out that you need at leat 4 letters and 3 numbers in ur password and i put a number in my name just to make sure. Thanks again.
I have tried all formats for name/pw as well and nogo, can't someone just take the apk apart and make it english by default so we can at least know what error we are getting?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Took me a couple times to get it right. Ultimately, just kept following his directions n it worked.

Anyone have a sample password we can use a format. I have tried most combos I could think of and no dice
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App

Followed by different name.

Try posting a screen shot or a video about the error you got and let people who understand chinese help you.

Actually its quite awful. Very poorly made, low resolution, and not that fun. There is an APK floating around that doesn't require the login, but I'm not going to bother digging it up again, since its probably warez.
Better off to play the copy cat "Leave Devil Alone" or wait until the real PVZ comes out from Popcap.
I actually think it got good res in my opinion. It looks like the real thing.

Just wondering if anyone knows how to add a minute text box that will show the minutes time 15 minutes into the future. I'm a supervisor at work and when giving people their 15 minute break it would be extremely helpful to glance at my watch real fast to let them know what time to be back. Possible? Thanks

Just a rough idea obviously but you can just add a minute text box and add +15 to the end of the time formula and it will work

That's awesome, thank you. I was trying to put +15 inside the {}. No wonder it wasn't working. Thanks coming your way.

Actually that doesn't appear to work when its less than 15 till the top of the hour . right now at 53 it shows 68 ... This may take some more thinking lol

Seems like you should be able to add some if statements in their something like if >45 subtract 45. But I'm not really sure of the syntax needed, I do know some apps like facer and watchmaker link to sites with the language source information which may help.
But an if statement is the most logical way to get around the 45 minute issue.
Without changing to the old XDA theme down below (ie XDA 2015) which works amazingly well and advanced search is very useful and you can arrange your results that can come in the form of THREADS or individual POSTS and sort by relevance, last posting date, creation date....and the list goes on.
The search feature now you just begin typing and pray to god what you search for make something pop up close to what you are wanting. Good luck though because most likely the results are going to be in a terrible non chronilogical order (i have results pop up from 3 years ago....then very next result is from 2018 and all over the place!!)
How in the heck can you perform an advanced search without going down below and changing the theme to something OLD so that you can reach the "advanced search" button
The search plus feature is a piece of junk
Educate me on how the AVERAGE person is not immediately turned off and frustrated by this. If it wasn't for the old theme still avalible down below....i absolutely could not find what i am searching for on this website.

It's difficult to reach the advanced search form using the XDA 2015 theme indeed (I don't know if there's a reason for this...), but you still can use it here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php
I'm still in the process to find an easy way to go to this form using the xda 2015 theme though. I can't remind where it is located besides from any user's post history (see my screenshots, click on Search Forums)...
In the 2015 theme, the "regular" advanced search is located at the top of EVRY forum index page. Just click the gear icon next to the search box.
Okay.
This needs to be available at the top of the forums home page and easily identified.
I am not dumb, I am a long time xda user and know I'm not the only one that has struggled to search these forums the last few years.
The "search plus" feature is being thrown in front of us and trying to be forced down our throats but it's awful and it's a project that needs to be abandonned or a choice given at the fourm home portal.

Alternatively, you can use an older xda theme to be able to see a quick link to the advanced search feature on the top of the xda web page.
