Replacement battery ?

Hello everyone,
Considering my battery problem (it's really really short for my little use ^^'), I'm thinking of buying one or more replacement battery for my GS2.
I saw many on eBay, I know they won't probably be official, but doesn't really matter as long as my battery life goes up
Do you have any battery you would advise me to buy please ?
Thanks in advance,
Have a good day
Don't buy on eBay my friend you could end up buying a fake.
This is a reputable online store to buy from.

I got mine from Export Prive. Was an original Samsung battery but for the Korean market. Nice to see ppl's eyes pop when they notice the words Near Field Communication on the battery.
jonny68 -> Thanks, went on that site (the french one actually), but there is the same problem, not in stock for now ^^'
Sleepycaat3 -> Thanks I'm gonna order it from there then
And have you got a good battery life with this one please ? ^^

Replacement Battery Door?

Long story short, I tried painting my battery door white and failed. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere. Some help would be hugely appreciated. My phone isn't useable since the antenna wont work without the battery door installed.

I have an extra one. Send me a PM if interested in buying it.
I have like 8 regular black ones if you need one
I have a brand new replacement as well for cheap, PM me, well known around here, and will be fair about price.

[update 12/11/11] atrix 4g motorola laptopdock $50 (might be sold out)

Well from the sound of things the cheap $50 dock might be sold out. Folks are having trouble with their order who posted later in the thread... Good luck to anyone still trying to get one. Original Post Below:
AT&T Wireless has LAPTOPDOCKS for Atrix 4G on the cheap.
$99 for a new one
$75 for a refurb
Just wanted to share the love!

UPDATE: CHECKED THE WEBSITE THIS MORNING AN THE PRICE FOR A NEW LAPTOPDOCK IS $50!!!
TO FIND IT ON THE WEBSITE GO THE ATRIX 4G PAGE AND SCROLL TO COMPATIBLE ACCESSORIES AND FIND THE LAPTOP DOCK
Damn! Just after I thought my $89 refurb was the best deal around and pulled the trigger.

Was a huge (and welcome) surprise to see the price drop on the website. Wonder if the price drop will cause a big influx of webtop/laptopdock questions in a week or so when everyone gets their new toy.
I bet there will be a metric crap-ton of posts like "Why doesn't CM7 have WebTop?"
In all seriousness, this is a killer deal. ATT is probably clearing out their stock so if you want one you'd better get it now or never.
if you buy it from AT&T, will they make you get a tethering plan?

Buying the dock from AT&T (in this case) is the same as buying it from any other store. So no, the act of buying the LAPTOPDOCK from them will not add a tethering plan to your bill.
Thank you OP for posting this. I've been contemplating about the webtop and for this price its too good of a deal to pass up so I finally pulled the trigger, I'll have to give up CM7 but thats okay i'm sure someone can make it work with CM7 later. Thanks OP for finding this.

CM9 might make the webtop a whole new ballgame, too. That's what I'm waiting for.
Let me clarify- HDMI mirroring at native (not upscaled) resolution? Or dynamically switching displays so as to resize everything? Count me in.

Don't hold your breath. From what the CM developers have said, actually implementing the Motorola webtop would be VERY difficult. I believe it's very tied in to Motoblur. A better chance of seeing plain Ubuntu...
Hello to all here on the lapdock thread. Just received mine today, one of the $99 new ones from Motorola. Pretty amazing the functionality added to the phone for such a low price. I wasnt sure what to expect.
Over the last few days I ve been doing a little research on the various CM7 threads --mainly the nightly for the Atrix 4G and I think someone has ported a version of Debian that will run on the CM7 ROM for Webtop and Lapdock. I flashed an earlier version of CM7 but ended up back on 4.5.91 after problems with CM7. Would be nice to have something a little different than the current desktop on the laptop but to me its pretty amazing as it is. Thid is my first thread post here from my Atrix using the lapdock. Nice accessory for a low price.
Thanks to everyone on XDA Atrix4G. I ve learned a lot !

Sure! I wanted to make sure folks participating in the XDA forum knew about the deal... because I selfishly wanted more discussion about it now that I am getting one . My evil plan is already working!
As far as CM7, I hope there is some sort of port. But for now I'm happy.
I'm using the home base rom and the webtop is neat but not overwhelmingly so. for the price I'm going to hang onto it, but I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to use it now or switch to CM7 and just sit on the dock for awhile until I see something that piques my interest.
can this be bought in store or ordered from someone that is not an ATT customer? im visiting some friends in the states next month and was wondering if i can either get one at a local store or order it to my friend's place(hes not an att customer)?
can someone post the link? i cant find it on att website
Hi, how good are the refurbished ones? Or its better to go for new one?
I just got my refurb in 2 hours ago, and it looks brand new!
Thanks OP!!

You do not have to be an AT&T customer to purchase one of these. I am not an AT&T customer.
To find the dock just go to where you would buy the atrix 4g http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...OROLA+ATRIX+(TM)+4G*+-+Black&q_sku=sku5100311
then go to compatible accessories and find the laptopdock
dont think you can pick it up in the store, ship it to your friends house
damn, I ordered the 75.00 2 days ago. I'll RMA this one and get me the $50.00 one.
I agree on both counts. I kinda feel bad for the guys in the development forum. Maybe someone should warn them!
Exactly what comes in the box. Does it include a charger and battery?

OEM 1800mah

Where the cheapest place to find OEM batteries? Genuine

Probably eBay. Not sure if this is the cheapest, but I found one for you http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SAMSUNG...Accessories&hash=item41650839da#ht_500wt_1156
$18.95 and from the US.
Trustworthy to be genuine?

Read the feedback and decide for yourself. If you are worried about a fake battery then spend a few extra bucks and buy retail.

I think so, I mean 25 were sold and feedback seems good (100%).
Positive feedback usually occurs right after the product is purchased. For products like batteries if you are looking for oem quality, you are best going paying retail at a reliable store. There are to many fakes out there if you are trying to find a real oem quality battery. Most that I have found and tried have been sub par. If you are looking for some extra power as a back up, go ahead and take the risk if you see something interesting. If you need the reliability, spend the extra at the store.
Even expensive 3rd party like Mugen and Sedieo fall way short of their ratings when tested. Google it. I would post a link, but am not allowed to do so yet.
You are gambling unless you go to a store. That is if you absolutely want a real 1800mah battery. There are too many fakes and creating a battery that looks oem is too cheap and easy.

Amazon has great return policies and the prices are very good.
Are there any nfc equipped batteries and even more importantly would our phone be capable to use that technology? I'm not really sure how that works and anyone who can enlighten me, much thanks.

[Q] Battery replacement OEM or high quality.

I was reading all the post and no body says if already get a new battery replacement for the Nexus 5, I'm in the USA for vacation and I want to buy one battery for a future replacement. Please share your experience with us or say where can we buy a new one (OEM or equivalent)in a store or online. Thanks.
You will get the same type of original battery. And opening your nexus 5 may void warranty (LG services center "conditions apply" ). But for future replacement, I don't think anything will happened to this battery. LCD Screen (with digitizer assembly) should be your choice for future replacement.
So for USA, you can buy battery here is your link: (Its original battery.)

And for battery replacement guide:

I've recently read about a replacement with the lg g2 battery, which lasts longer (300 mah) but has the same size. As soon as possible I'll post the link, just looking for it

Destroying your phone for an extra 300mAh doesn't seem reasonable to me, but to each their own.

It's generally not recommended to buy a battery for "future replacement" because the battery is always degrading even just sitting on your shelf. It's recommended to buy a replacement battery only when you require the replacement battery.

Thanks for the explanation, but I have to do it because I am from Colombia and there is really difficult to get an OEM battery for the Nexus 5. So I want to take advantage while I am in USA and buy it.

Oh I see, I guess ordering it online isn't really an option from your home country? I don't think there will be any retail store with OEM Nexus 5 batteries, I think you would need to get it from a website such as etradesupply or equivalent.

You are right, we don't have a retail store who sell OEM parts or an official LG service, so I have to buy it here. In Colombia you can buy original parts for the most popular cells in the country but the Nexus 5 isn't one of them because they (Google) don't sell it there. I have to import it
I bought my nexus 5 directly in the play store, I have to buy the battery for the D820 version, for the D821 version or it doesn't matter? Thanks to all.
They all have the same internal specs. The battery should be fine, just as the screens and anything else.

If you want to buy only 1, then LG service center (with warranty you get). If you want more in quantity then try that site.
cant you just buy one on eBay and have it posted to you when you need a replacement? as someone said earlier if you buy a replacement now but don't use it for a year it will not be as good as a new battery
There are a lot of fake batteries on eBay so buyer beware.
where can I buy an original LG battery? I need to change mine... thanks
Same here. Looking for a decent replacement, knowing oem will be impossible to find.

I had a chat with LG and they asked me to send my phone to their service center in Texas... I wasn't able to ask for the price because the chat was cut off... nvm... I just bought a new Galaxy S4 again as a backup phone.
Best bet, for my money: https://lg.encompass.com/item/10389517/LG/EAC62078701/Rechargeable_Battery,lithium_Polymer. Originally posted here, Post 175.
I haven't decided to replace mine, yet. Fortunately, I can charge often and carry a power bank.
I bought the Polarcell 2450 mAh on the bay, for 23€
Battery life is now simply amazing.
Charging time is a little bit long (I don't enable the fast charge kernel option that scr#wed my previous original battery)
I couldn't reccomend it more. I can do a whole day with intense use.
Of course I use greenify, and tweak some CPU/voltage options
I use PureNexus ROM
