Anyone hear anything about speck or otterbox making cases for the tab.

Unfortunately no because apparently the trend now is to wrap your tab in dead cow or artificial cow skin. And this is one of those instances where the mass trend is important because it determines what cases get made.
There has been a listing on amazon for a otterbox like case from Incipio for a couple of weeks now but the status has stayed at 1-3 months for a really long time now.
I just posted something in another thread about this but I called incipio and they told me it's in the early development stages and should be out in around a 5 or six weeks. You can get emails from them with updates. I'm doing that right now but once I hear anything new I'll post it.

I just wish it was sooner. That does explain the 1-3 Amazon listing...
- Incipio has only a KickStand case in the works, not a Silicrylic or feather case for the GT 10.1.
- OtterBox doesn't have any plans to make a case for the GT 10.1
- Gumdrop has the only rugged GT 10.1 case that I'm aware of (not on sale yet)

Unless you have been told otherwise that's what the rep at Incipio told on the phone yesterday. He added me to a mailing list for updates. Where did you hear about that Incipio was only making the kickstand?

They said this on their Facebook wall last week. Scroll down about half-way. The Amazon listings for the other Incipio cases will be taken down. Clearly one of these reps are misinformed! I hope it's the Facebook rep.

Yeah that would be a pretty bad call on their part (Incipio) considering that they have a complete line for the Xoom which is one of the SGTs main competitors.
I guess more SGTs will have to die an untimely death via ground collisions before they realize that rugged cases will sell.....

Man that does suck!. I too hope this guy is wrong. Maybe I'll call back tomorrow and see what a different rep has to say. I'm sure they make something similar out there or otterbox or speck are working on one.

**UPDATE**
I know not many of you are into the minimal protection/"Flare" cases, so there's another way you can contribute to Case-mate extending the T989 case lineup. Goto Case-mate's Facebook page and click on the Feedback link on the left column. Search for T989 Cases and vote for it. Obviously, you can see where I'm getting at. If we can get enough votes, it would convince Case-mate to extend the lineup.

So I go to the case-mate website, I see casemate selling a cool ass Marvel comics cases for Iphone 4/4s and I search for the t-mo case and I see this crap case! I want a god damn Iron Man Case.
too bad it only comes in the boring black color, otherwise i'd try one.
On the site it does say it comes in metallic silver but its not listed yet. I will be picking that one up when it is released.

People were reporting fitting problems with the Incipio case though.
Looks very similar to the diztronic amazon case....

Im very happy with my Incipio case and the fitting is perfect .. But i'll try this one aswell too see the difference.

Yeah, I was hoping for a POP! case but it's obvious Case-mate doesn't see much promise in the T989 and wanted to test the waters. Hopefully spreading the word would result in enough purchases for them to release more colors or more cases x(>.<)x

It just looks weird to be honest, dislike the open parts like the top and bottom.
Doesn't really provide protection from drops...
I LOVE the D30 case. It doesn't really add any bulk, I think it makes it more comfortable in my hands and it definitely provides the added protection.
It's either no protection and a naked phone or if I was going to use a case I'd use something that actually provided protection.
Just my .02 cents. We all have different opinions, no hate.

Looks fugly. Also the case didn't seem to fit snug at the bottom. Hopefully someone can chime in on this.

i'm intrigued by this case as well. i wonder how much thicker/wider it makes the phone though. it looks like to have the same added size as the case-mate pop case i had on my skyrocket. if thats the case (hehe word joke) then i'll pass =/
The phone itself is already pretty thin, almost the same as the ipod touch/ a pencil so for me thickness wont be that big of a deal, unless it's something like the otter case :/

Not quite the same idea at all. The SGP is a 2 piece case with a TPU backcover + Polycarb frame. Similar to Incipio's Sylicrylic or Seidio's Active X case except it doesn't use silicone so hopefully doesn't get loose at the top/bottom end.

I wasn't talking about the material either Same color scheme sure, but more that it's a single piece case vs a 2 piece back cover + frame case.
Got my Infinity White today. Barely adds any thickness. I also have a Casemate Pop for my S3, but this is a lot lot thinner. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a thin case. My only complaints are the power button is so sensitive at first, you don't even know you've pressed it until you take your finger off of it. Also like any other matte TPU case (oh yeah, it's TPU) it's kind of slippery. But definitely recommended for anyone looking for some basic protection. Not recommend for anyone who drops their phone constantly or from high places.

I actually bought both because I liked the Diztronic's blue TPU case more, yet I wanted a black case as well. So, I went and bought the Tudia in black.
Gonna switch off on them every now and then, along with my current bumper case, cause I like having a variety.
Diztronic for me. I hope they carried over the smooth matte texture to the OPO.

5/5 cases I've bought from them have been excellent. They are doing a great job.
Diztronic for a few reasons, no gloss on the side like Tudia and the owner provides great info and updates on here and im a sucker for great customer service. lol
As reported in the other thread(s). I had the Nexus 5 Ditztronic and my wife the Nexus 5 Tudia case. The Tudia case stained over time like most TPU colored cases seem to do. The Tudia Nexus 5 case is actually a bit thinner than the Diztronic. The OnePlus Tudia looks a bit thicker than the Nexus 5 variant based on the pictures, but I could be wrong. I personally ordered the Ditztronic again, but the Tudia should also be a great product. Either way I don't think you can go wrong.

I bought it off Newegg when they "accidentally" had it in stock. My shipping order has already been processed, so I'm guessing they'll send out my Tudia case the moment it comes into their warehouse.
Anyone know if Orzly tempered glass fits with these on?

Admittedly, it was a bad joke in retrospect, but I don't think anyone took me seriously. If I was asked nicely, I would have taken it down. I do apologize if I offended anyone.
Don't like the current Diztronic color options..ordered the Teal Tudia.
I want the diztronic but I also want to get the bamboo back so I'd need a clear case. Which they don't offer.
Any reviews of either of these out there yet?

I would love to hear your experience with the UAG cases when your phone arrives (I assume it hasn't yet, since you only shared the cases by themselves). Especially about how the front lips cover the tapered-off edges (am I still able to put the phone face-down and not have the screen touch the surface?) and how thicker the cases make the phone. Some extra photos with the phone inside would be great as well. Thank you for sharing!

I'm getting this case, I have one for my 6T and it's really good, especially the price, surprise not a lot of people mention these cases, theyre out for a lot of other phone as well.

Just search S10 Fabric Case on eBay there is no brand
My go to cases for every smartphone i have owned are from Ringke. I have the fusion clear case and the onyx case waiting for the phone to arrive. If incipio releases their NGP advanced case for the S10 plus, i will be all over it. Love the grip on that case.
Any other simple case, which has grip and is not big and bulky like the speck cases?
