Are there any roms that will alow you use a wiimote with the epic?

Thank you for not searching.
Once cyanogenmod is finished it will allow you to use the wiimote, because it uses the AOSP bluetooth array, rather than Samsung's.
Oh sorry but thanks

I am not positive, but I want to say no. Wii Motes only work on AOSP roms, due to the Bluetooth stack being different. Apparently, HTC has bastardized the bluetooth on Sense, and it's not possible for a Wiimote to work. Vaelpak's is 'non-sense', meaning it's still a Sense based rom, it just has the Sense launcher and Sense elements removed. So my guess would be that it still has the htc bluetooth stuff, meaning it won't work.

Has anyone tried this Gamepad made by phonejoy ? Looks promising .
If you've got a Playstation Dual Shock or a Sixaxis controller, you can grab the SIXAXIS app. It works on CM7 and possibly other AOSP ROMs, but not on SENSE ROMs.

That sounds interesting

I tried a knockoff wii remote and wasted my money. The official wii remote pairs tho with my aosp. My advice is stay away from knockoff brands. Also sense roms don't work well with Bluetooth controllers.

Anyone know why this one isnt working? Or has tried it out successfully themselves?
I didnt yet
Try the sixaxis test app
If the ps3 controller works chances are so will wiimote

The wii is unsupported in the galaxy s 2 international. But people use the ps3 with a different rom that has a changed Bluetooth stack
There is however Phonejoy. A bit expensive but it works stock with our phones.

yeah, i know if we were to get cyanogen running on our phones it will work. but it seems that it doesnt work stock.
what is phonejoy?
i searched it on our market but nothing poped cept this bluez ime.
Look up phonejoy on Google.
Its a ps2 like control that some man has been Modding to support any phone capable of Bluetooth HID which is also what our phones have.
Most of the reason why its so expensive is its from China. However it does work.

The only time I've ever gotten a Wiimote to work with an emu on my Epic 4G is when I had CyanogenMod on it. I remember reading in a thread somewhere on here (XDA) that you simply can't pair a Wiimote with the Epic 4G if it's running anything but CyanogenMod because of the Bluetooth stack written/created by Samsung. Something about it being too proprietary. It was a while ago, so I don't have a link, sorry. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken.

My bad lol why don't you get a ps3 controller? The Epic is supported for that regardless if you're on CM7 or not... At least to my understanding

Search blueimz... or something like that, one of the versions has a working wii remote connetivity for galaxy s, I have had it connect on cm7 but I don't have it anymore

And I'm actually starting to like it lol like my button on my headphnes actualllly works to skip songs and pause it and its just amazingg lol
Andd the best part is the wii remote works lol
So thanks everyone for your helpp
If anyone ever does find an app that works with touchwiz I still would love to know about it

Yeah it has to do with the Bluetooth stack that tw uses, you could try miui.us if you don't like cm7 but I'm not sure if it works. What I do to play 64 is use the game gripper and the button re-mapper app to make the power button become a search button, that way I have a left and right trigger. Almost feels natural and it works on any rom.

I know that the cm7 rom does work with any wii mote app. I used it.

I haven't seen clear evidence either way, I would really like to use either a sixaxis or wiimote to play my games. Hope someone can clear this up for me.
The only one that may have it is CM7. I have it installed and will check tonight.

Just checked, and it does work with cm7

That is fantastic news. Thanks!
Yeah, I. Needed the BT L2CAP support for my watch to work and CM7 is the only ROM that has it. I may have to get a sixaxis just to use for playing games on my E4GT.

the siaxxis app for the controllers works good, you just have to root it and you can use your ps3 controller. If your interested in using that. I had it for 2 months and im pretty happy with it.
Im on stock everything pretty much
