Bud the rosie and your widgets are all connected through sense so if you messed up your rosie your best bet is to flash and start over or restore a nandroid that you made b4 it happened

there was no FC. i had my phone on and it was working perfectly, the battery went down to 1% then died and an hour later when i connected it to charge and turned it on it was just all gone. it was just my wallpaper, the app drawer, phone, and shortcut buttons on the bottom. and widgets had disappeared. i dont see what i could have done to cause it.

oh i just adb pushed the rosie.apk from the skyraider rom and it was fine. i had rebooted twice after i did that too so i dont think it was that. and sorry i thought you were talking about the more recent problem.
Well that first problem is the cause of your new problem you probably want get those widgets back unless you reflash.... sense is weird everything runs of of each other and the launcher is a big part of it

So i rooted my incredible and tried to install a theme from the ROM manager i think it was called and when it went to reboot it just went to a black screen with a white stripe down each side and now i cant get passed that point even if i hit factory restore in the s-off menu thing. i am very new to this stuff so i am an idiot for just jumping in but if anyone has any ideas on what i could do it would be much appreciated. HTC Incredible on 2.2 rooted.
thanks
Turn your phone off then back on normally. I think someone mentioned once that this happens with newer DINCs i may be wrong but i believe that may help

The newer Incredibles have an SLCD screen, the originals have AMOLED screens. From what I understand, they use different display/touch drivers. Not really a "bug" but I'm sure it bugs a lot of people... Did you just recently get it?

Ok new incredible as of the last friday. Unrevoked 3 worked until it hit the rom selection. Rebooted into recovery & thats where I get the black screen with the 2 lines & cant select anything. Pulling the battery will reset it and I'm able to boot but I still cant get the ROM to install.
Any suggestions

Search is your friend. You have a SLCD screen. Since your phone has different hardware, it requires compatible software.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=806734
PM'd cause i cant post links cause im still a noob
If you haven't fixed it yet you can search in the Q&A section for black screen and get instructions for a complete restore to the day you got it. The SLCD thing got me too.

This is exactly my problem...then I reflashed with pb31img. Now all it does is turn the charge light on...
How did you get it fixed.
I don't know if my phone is slcd or amoled....almost sure its AMOLED
the way i fixed it is on this thread......http://www.incredibleforum.com/foru...t-after-incredible-boot-screen.html#post56442

What are you looking to do I managed to do a number of things to my odex rom, mainly circle bat mod, but in the process I also changed the notification screen and some of the icons

No, I really like that and I might explore that next, although I am hoping the next release of warm z will be my new rom.

Have you tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=877003
It may boot loop, but staying with odex that is what we get, the only thing I found that bootloops every time is removing clock, but that changes the servicies.jar so I would suspect this might boot loop, but that is why there is nandroid, unfortunatly I am oncall this week so my rule is not to fool around with my phone until I am off call
Let me know if you try it

thanks tho!
I ended up trying it, it put a space in there but none of the widgets showed up so maybe with some fiddling it might work

Noticed that after I rooted, my clock no longer comes up if I tap on it from the home screen. The sense clock/weather widget. Is there a way to fix this.
Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk
I had this issue before rooting. My phone started uninstalling different apps. I just did factory resets to get them back, but now that you are rooted, look in the android development section and find a rom you like and flash it.

here's the .apk for the deskclock from my old eris....i had the same problem so i just pulled this one from my old phone and pushed it to my Dinc2 using adb. the picture button doesnt work but the alarm, music and home do.
I noticed this last night after initially flashing a custom ROM.
Have you used a program like Titanium BAckup? If so, I would check that to see if any programs are 'frozen'. My clock was, so I thawed it and the widget works perfectly.
Delete, duplicate post... opps
If you have Titanium Backup, check the clock app, more than likely, it will need to be "Defrosted". That should get you back up and running
Edit... Didn't notice the above post
Ha, thanks guys. It was frozen in Titanium. Why was it frozen in the first place?
thanks again.

Not sure why it's frozen... My clock quit before I rooted, but after rooting and installing Titanium I took a look and it was frozen (I had heard about the unfreezing method from another post, and sure enough, it worked). My news was also frozen as well, crazy
Yep, fixed mine too

I have an issue with an HTC Evo, I woke up this morning and the phone didin't had my information. Contacts, media, downloads, widgets and icons are gone, all of the phone screens are blank. Any idea on why this happened or if anyone knows how to fix it. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks!
Are you rooted? Custom rom? Have you recently installed any apps?

No, device isn't rooted, no custom ROM's. No recent apps installed.
I had to start over from scratch and put what I wanted on each screen.Hit the plus button at the bottom of the screen and add what you want to each one ie shortcut, widget, app etc.If widgets are actually missing from the widget menu, first try a reboot and if they don't show up you'll have to do a factory reset.

What Rom are you using? Most custom roms have that feature.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
I've seen this a few times too - perhaps 3 or 4 times in the last month. Not sure what causes it but I think a particular app triggers it - perhaps HTC Watch? I also occasionally get a weird (possibly linked) bug where I can bypass the lock screen when the notification bar becomes visible on the lock screen.

I don't think the mods will work on stock odexed rom. May be you are lucky to have the feature on stock unrooted phone.
