Anyone have a tutorial or maybe can compile a update.zip to flash for jit to work??
Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk
I think it needs to be compiled for the rom and firmware to get it to function. I followed a guide in cyanogens website to get it installed and all it does it boot loop.

Can't find it now (figures) but supposedly Dalvik JIT and Sense don't play well together. Probably explains the boot-loop.

Is this using the Eclair JIT or Froyo JIT?
http://www.unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/how_to_enable_jit
Try these files to enable/disable JIT. They work on Jager and Unrevolved but it does not work on the CM5 Test 3 or Stock (anything with sense really).
BE SURE TO DO A NANDROID BACKUP FIRST.
The enable has the files from the Desire Thread/Unrevoked JIT Wiki and the disable has the files from the Stock rom.
To see if JIT is enabled, while booted do the following:
Code:
adb shell
cd /system/bin/
getprop dalvik.vm.execution-mode
If JIT is enabled it should return:
Code:
int:jit
Anyone sucessfully enabled on a rom w/ sense or froyo???????? preferably froyo+sense is what im looking for.
JIT is enabled in all Froyo roms by default.
Any chance of the ASOP Lock Screen (possibly the black one from the viper rom) for my stock froyo??
also the black keypad with the white #s from his rom aswell.
any chance of a flashable zip for these?
would it be possible to apply these to the stock froyo or do i need a rom??
how about just an all black deoxed dialer??
As I understand it, the builds are different so the framework is different, so the mods for those builds are specific to those builds alone. You can always try, but I would imagine there would be issues. Also, themes only work on rooed and deodexed framewrks so if you are "completely" stock then they won't function.

I'm on my phone right now so posting links ain't gonna happen and I apologize. Look in the development section for roms or do a search. There's the Syndicate rom from ACS, Epic Experience from shyzopunk(look for is di18 version), Androdena from n00ble. Those are the only ones I can think off of the to of my head there's also a stock but deodexed rom from n00ble and a deodexed template from dreamsforgotten in the theme section. The Syndicate rom has the aosp lock screen built in but once you pick a rom do a search for dk18 lock screen our check out my theme thread. Yes you can flash n00bles stock de odexed rom and flash the aosp lock screen. If your worried about loosing data I've herd you don't need to wipe to flash his rom over stock but you can look for dreamsforgetton template. His template deodexes your system with out wiping anything. But before you flash any thing please do your self a favor and make a back up with cwm

Through CWM flash the zip in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=814789&highlight=theme+template
This will leave your phone as is and deodex (merges your .ODEX files into the apks in both system/ and framework/ so you can any theme) your current rom.
Secondly flash this from CWM after:
http://www.4shared.com/file/udiKZ_62/VanillaLock.html
That is the direct link from MysteryMotionz Emotionless Beast theme for DI18 download of JUST the AOSP Lock Screen.
The dialer I'll leave you to find one you like.

Thank Tiffany84 for initial ICS theme she made for us.
v0.1.1 Deodexed.
There were few requests for deodexed version of this rom so here we go:
Same as 0.1.0 just deodexed.
No other tweaks or changes been added to rom.
Links are at the bottom of the page.
Rom:
I present tFD10 rom.
1. Touch of ICS theme by Tiffany84
2. Added AOSP gallery for nice widget
3. Changed settings background to GNex scaled grey (thanks Ben's for help and research)
4. Changed touch sound to GNex sound (thanks Ben's for help and research)
5. Removed boot sound
5. Silenced Camera.apk as much as I could. It does make sound only when getting focus. No shutter sound, no recording sound on video.
6. Removed stock boot animation
7. Added International SGS II Boot animation.
8. Added app to switch between MTP and USB storage.
9. Removed bloatware.
Added tweaks:
1. Added VM managment.
2. Internet speed
3. Battery tweaks in buid.prop and in init.d
4. Undervolt -50 mv (thanks to Calkulin and his script)
5. Kernel tweaks in init.d (hope it works as planned).
6. Low memory management.
7. Tweak to help phone to go to deep sleep when idle.
If you need tether you should fall back to wifi tether for root users for now.
Installation instructions:
1. Download rom zip file.
2. Download modem zip file (optional)
3. Copy files to root of your sd card
4. Boot into recovery.
5. Do a NAND back up (optional but strongly recomended).
6. If you still running any GB build flash/apply Calkulin's format all zip. This step can be skipped if you running ICS builds. I have tried flashing this rom over FD02 ICS rom and had no problems. Also I have flashed rom after using Calk's format all script. No problems either.
7. Apply rom zip in recovery.
8. Apply modem zip in recovery.
9. Boot to system.

If you want to run completely stock themed rom here is zip file to flash stock FD10 kernel:
http://jumbofiles.com/1hpz3pm20f0s/FD10_Stock_Kernel.zip.html
Please note that if you flash this kernel init.d scripts will not run and you will not have some of the tweaks.
Here is the link for removed apps.

If you want to flash just few apps delete apps you don't want from /system/app folder using 7z, copy modified zip to sd card and flash in recovery.
Please not that rom is odexed and if you remove xyz.apk you should remove xyz.odex file as well from the zip.
I made a flashable zip for modem for those of you who want to flash it in recovery.
You can download modem here:

Over the multiple threads, I saw that your battery life is always incredible. So, I thought that if you are flashing this rom, you would do something to extend your battery life. That's was the reason why I asked for.
Where can i find the wallpaper that is always on the ROM after install. When i change to a different one and try to go back to it i can't find it.

I'm getting over 6000 in AnTuTu benchmark and close and over 4000 on quadrant using odexed rom.

Hi there guys! I'm currently using CM9 with the following tweaks/mods/kernel that you can see on my signature right now and I'm having problems with init.d not working. I hope you can help me guys! Thanks!
1. Which init.d script is not working, exactly? Only one or several? Or all of them?
2. Post here the result of:

The init.d should be, the ROM itself is supporting init.d ... Any more details?
I upgraded to CM9 RC3 and init.d's working fine right now. I saw on the changelog that it includes init.d scripting fixes so I guess RC2 has a faulty one.
Hi there guys! I'm having some problems again with init.d not working. It only seems to be triggered whenever I install a new custom kernel by flashing it, wiping the dalvik cache and cache then fixing the permissions. The problems is, whenever I check Seeder to see if it's working or not via Terminal Emulator. Seeder says it's off although it's set to run at every boot. The things that I've tried to fix it is by restoring the /system partition of my RC6 backup with no mods/scripts or custom kernels installed. How do I prevent it from happening again as doing all those things are time consuming.
Can anyone help me?
