I will be picking up my Evo in October. I was planning on picking up a second battery/extended battery, a bodyguardz screen protector, and an innocase and holster. Are there any other recommended or must have accessories?

(sorry... shameless plug)
I was also wondering if anybody has used the Barely There or the Gelli case from Case Mate. The Gelli case looks similar to the NGP case that I have on my zunehd.
Need the Cyclops Holster from Trident. Unfortunately TridentCases/Tridenteer do not appear to be selling it anymore or are out of stock at the moment for the Evo and I can't find any other retailers selling it. So... if anyone has one hanging around in good condition and is willing to sell it I can offer a fair amount for it shipped via PayPal. PM me if your willing to sale.
Btw only interested in Tridents Holster. Not pouches or any of the sort that may fit the Cyclops case. Thanks in advance

Did u have to buy the seidio rugged combo or were u able to find the holster itself for sale? Only found the combos so far and would be a waste for me just for the holster at those prices.

You can get just the holster from seidioonline.com.
Okay I found it. But wow $20 lol. It'll cost more the any of my Cyclops cases lol. But it seems it may be my only option atm. Would u have any pics of ur phone/case with the holster? Just curious how good the fit is.

I don't have any pics at the moment, but the fit is perfect. Fits like they where ment to be used togeather.

I too have the seidio rugged holster and works very well
Thanks that's good to know. Tbo I was unaware of other branded plastic holsters being able to fit the Cyclops case well. I was bummed out when I realized Trident didn't have anymore in stock. But the Seidio rugged holster should have me covered like u guts are saying. Thanks again to all for the heads up. Now if only there were a similar holster for my Kraken case...

I've had both (Although I had the Commuter for my old LG Optimus One) and I currently have the Seidio Active (Without the kickstand) and the Seidio Active is much much better. The silicone and plastic is much higher quality and it doesn't lose it's shape like most Otterboxes too. The only upside with buying the Otterbox is that is comes with a screen protector (A pretty crappy one anyway) and that's about it. The Seidio case is much better.

I already have the ZAGG screen protector installed so that wouldn't be a deal breaker if it didn't come with one but thanks for your input

By the way does the case get a lot of lint on it and does it get stuck inside pockets and such that's my main concern lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
The Seidio case picks up a little bit of lint, a LOT less than the Otterboxes do. Half the time for me it doesn't pick lint up but when it does it's barely noticeable and wipes off really easily. Can't same the same about the Otterbox though, I had a hell of a time with lint problems when I had one for my old phone.

Do yourself a favor and also check out the Trident Kraken(Excellent Video Review Here). It has an awesome kickstand, tons of accessories that can be bought(11 bucks for a windshield mount? DONE!) and you can take it out of the poly-carb box and use just the silicon sleeve when you don't need it. Plus from everything I read online, Trident offers far superior protection than SEIDO or Otterbox. And the rotatable belt clip is way better than a holster, to me anyway. Give it a look, love mine!
Also if you want slightly less protection(and thickness) consider the Trident Aegis.
Quit hatin' on the Commuter!

Of course the Trident Kraken offers superior protection when compared to the Seidio Active and Otterbox Commuter but it also adds a lot more bulk to your phone. (If you're ok with that, then go for the Kraken! It is the most protective case out of the three!).
And I wasn't hating on the Commuter, I was just stating what I had encountered when I had one with my old phone.
I decided to go with the Seidio Active case with the kickstand. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll update you guys on how it is.

Got the Seidio case in the mail today I love it but the only thing is that it doesn't have any opening for the 3 pin thing on the right side of the phone. I don't know if the Otterbox Commuter has an opening for it.

Commuter doesn't have an opening for the pogo pins either. Very few have them open and the only ones I own that have such an opening are some tpu cases I have.

Yeah I don't plan to use them anyways but so far this case is very good but we'll see how it survives a fall which hopefully never happens
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Kraken does not have them either, nor does any high-protection case I have seen.
Would have to say the seidio active is my choice. After i tested it the hard way, due to me being sleep deprived. I was working inside my car engine bay and take off the phone due to getting in the way at times. I just so happened to forget it was in their and then started to drive away to get a drink. I finally realized what happen then went searching for it the case was scratch to heck, but the phone was safe
^ Mother of Buddha :-\
I have what I'm told is a Commuter for sale.. $20 shipped 405-259-2797
I like the little groove on my case from where the kickstand is too makes it feel nice when you hold the phone.

Hello Forum,
I was looking around for alternative holster for Ballistic SG MAX case, the holster that come in the package is very flimsy. I have tried the otter box defender case &, i find the same results flimsy holster. Just wanting to see if anyone has a good holster to recommend.
the only holster I can recommend is a leather holster...on eBay I jus looked up "samsung galaxy s3 holster otterbox" and a few leather holsters came up...I'm sure they would be able to fit the Ballistic SG MAXX as well...hope that helps

Can anyone recommend a waterproof case? I took my son to a waterpark and missed some great shots..something not to bulkythat i can keep on...if bulky ill pop on and off.
If you searched for a case via the search function of the forum you wouldve been directed to either the lifeproof subtopic or the otternox armor series subtopic
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda app-developers app
Your options are cheap knock offs or otterbox armor series, lifeproof (coming out sometime in july) or seidio obex.
