i am from the uk and nexus 7 isnt available here until september atleast. So i asked a friend to get it for me. She sent me a reciept in which extra taxes are also added. i heard people buying 32gb for as low as 233 where i got it for 289. She bought it from Lakevlle Minnesota. Can anyone tell me the store name from the reciept?

However, there is still a sale at office max with 20 percent off. As i am more than happy to get nexus sooner than most of the world, i do not really care about the money.
I heard people call best buy n negotiate with them to get refunds. Is it true and if that is applicable?
Yeah that's legit and the regular price of the 32gb Nexus 7. People who are getting it for $233 were probably getting it at Office Max with the 20% off coupon that's been floating around on the forums here.
Edited to add: Yes Best Buy will price match things. But I'm pretty sure your friend would have to go to the store and show them the receipt along with the 20% off coupon. I don't think Best Buy would do it over the phone.
Best Buy. You can read the inverted logo that would be on the back. All good. Sure Office Max has a coupon but getting it takes work. I don't even think office max is accepting the coupon and you have to basically con other stores to price match.
So be happy someone did you a favor. Everything is good now.

as a worker of BBY I can tell you the number below the validation number is the store number, register, transaction and transaction date.
as you can see from the website the sku next to it matches.

Yes, I am thinking the same thing. I am getting nexus for 290 dollars which is more than 229 (350) quids that i will pay in the UK. Still not a bad choice. Although, best buy says it will match the price on its store and I will talk to her and see where it goes. The receipt says 4th August, so is the coupon valid by then or not (OfficeMax) ? I wouldnot have a problem if she can't. Cheers again

I bought my Nexus the day BestBuy released them early (July 26). When the 20% Office Max coupon was released, I was able to just bring the coupon and my receipt to the service desk and have the manager adjust the price. Saved me $54 pre-tax.
EDIT: BestBuy will do any price adjustments up to 15 days after purchase, so your friend should be good. The Office Max coupon expires on August 10th and can be found by googling for Office Max 20% Printable Coupon.
The coupon just needs to be printed and you need the original receipt. Also, I had to go to Best Buy service desk because the transaction is something that must be authorized by a manager.
Ironically, I drove by this exact best buy last night! There was a crazy rain storm here in MN yesterday, and there was this area of road that was rather flooded. Had a fun time driving through it Then we went to the Chili's that is next to this best buy! I had even thought about going in before hand to check out the N7, but it was closed by the time we got there.
So I read on reddit about Moto 360 being $100 at RadioShack due to them going out of business and I called my local store and luckily they had one in stock. They won't tell you the price on phone, you have to go in and then they will punch in the 60% discount code which brings it down to $100 + tax. This is a great deal thought I let folks here at XDA know.

Here is what you do
1) Look at the document from RadioShack (google: radioshack closing stores pdf)
2) Use search on your PC/Mobile find"nearest one" I searched for Brooklyn.
3) go to radioshack.com type your zip-code check that store if it shows: Availiable
4) RUN THERE! lol

I went to a Radioshack in Roxboro, NC that is closing soon and saw they have about 4 moto 360s for $100 a pop. I bought 2. Went to 3 Radioshacks in Durham, NC and two weren't closing just yet, the 3rd was but unfortunately pretty much only had cables and other crap left. I doubt anyone who got it for 100$ would even sell you for the same price,when they can put it on ebay for 200$.
I suggest you look at the list of all closing stores and drive to few that you feel are close to you.

I doubt it. The whole point of these steep discounts is to clear inventory for that particular store. So there would be no point to ship it to a store where they're trying to clear all the existing stock.
Nothing available in the Seattle area, it looks like.

The ones closing in my area were knocking prices off everything 80% I dropped like 3k on all kinds off and have made my money back on selling it and am keeping the things I want. I got a note 4 edge store demo in mint condition for 130 bucks lol and I sold it for 500 because I like my mate 7 better and they even sim unlocked it for me.

Same here. My prime was due in a few months. I would have paid for that anyways. So essentially $100.00 in my scenario.
I paid £99 and I am really happy with the phone. Probably deserves more than others and hopefully at some point there is any new door open for developtment!

Bought mine off eBay unlocked version for $186 including shipping. No prime but I already have it with student discount. $49 per year. Phone came with extra car charger and 2 cases. This person was trying to get rid of it because they didn't know you can get Gapps on it. Their loss.

I mean less than 30 buck and im only going to use it as a wifi router so im just hoping either its as good as it sounds or at least puts out similarly. Any who this money was from a gift card.

Never thought the a70 would be clone-worthy tbh
after seeing all the $100-$200 clones on Youtube reviews. i doubt a $25 clone will even stay powered up.
