Right now xperia ray is joined in one section with active mini and mini pro but those devices arent familar with ray xperia ray also dosent have general section..
We should have a a seperate section for xperia ray
agreE?
As I stated on the thread on the Xperia Pro ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1533272 ) it makes more sense for the Ray to be in the same section as the Neo and Pro. This would be a quick and easy reorganisation as a first step:

That would be the place to put it. Updated simple reorganisation:
*Arc/Arc S
*Neo/Neo V/Pro/Ray
*Mini/Mini Pro/Active/LWW

Though I think this overall makes more sense but would be more work to reorganise:

Or perhaps as an alternative to the simple reorganisation what about this for a much much more logical organisation into two main sections for 2011 devices?:
*2011 Xperias (Arc/Arc S/Neo/Neo V/Pro/Ray/PLAY) [all based on Qualcomm MSM8255, 512MB RAM, 480 x 854, 1500 mAh battery]
___2011 Xperias General
___2011 Xperias Q&A
___2011 Xperias Themes and Apps
___Arc / Arc S Chat & Accessories [BA750 battery]
___Neo/Neo V/Pro/Ray Chat & Accessories [BA700 battery]
___Xperia PLAY Chat & Accessories [BST-41 battery]
___2011 Xperias General Development
______Xperia Arc Development
______Xperia Arc S Development
______Xperia Neo Development
______Xperia Neo V Development
______Xperia Pro Development
______Xperia Ray Development
______Xperia PLAY Development
*2011 Xperia Minis (Mini/Mini Pro/Active/Live With Walkman) [all based on Qualcomm MSM8255, 512MB RAM, 320 x 480, 1200 mAh battery, "four corners" UI]
___2011 Xperia Minis General
___2011 Xperia Minis Q&A
___2011 Xperia Minis Themes and Apps
___2011 Xperia Minis Accessories
___2011 Xperia Minis General Development
______Xperia Mini Development
______Xperia Mini Pro Development
______Xperia Active Development
______Xperia Live With Walkman Development
This might be a bit trickier to reorganise than the simple reorganisation, but once done would be much more logical and is more in line with what is common and what is different between models. Note that the "2011 Xperias General Development" section is intended to be a full forum and the main place for developer discussion (i.e. a full forum, not merely a navigational sub-section).

Hi.
I recentently purchased a sony ericsson xperia pro. (mk16i)
I upgraded from a x10 mini pro. This x10 mini pro has several threads of its own here about custom roms.
What I am confused about is the lack (every where, not only on xda-developers) of "support" about my device.
Every where I read about the arc, the neo the play and og course x8 and x10 mini / pro but the xperia pro (mk16i) almost never has it's own thread.
I can download cyanogenmod at download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=iyokan&type= and it actually works but when going to the cyanogenmod.com site and select devices my device is not there! I really want to see some releae notes or something.
Same on xda , when googeling I find some questions and sometimes answers about the mk16i but always in some other phones thread. Does that mean I can install that phones custom rom on my phone?
So is the pro the same as one of the other sony's or am i only one of the few who bought it?
Regards
Hans

not only you bought it, me too.
it seems that this phone is not popular which is strange because it seems to be the most advanced qwerty android phone at the moment.
I'm going to root it soon, maybe use some custom rom for it. Could you provide some links to pages which you were using while you were rooting your mk16i? any
thanks
Well can you sort it into diffrent sections like this?
Xperia S , Acro S , SL - 1 Forums
Xperia Go , P , U , Sola - 1 Forums
Xperia Miro , Tipo - 1 Forums
Xperia Neo L combined with Neo and Neo V
Xperia T and TX - 1 Forums
Xperia Ion
Xperia V
Also .. The Xperia Ray forums is missing a general , q&a and accessories sub forums!!
There were similar requests posted before, but that was for just dividing it into 2 sub-fora...
I just popped in there, and the condition looks worse than 3 weeks back!
"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, Man and Knife"
I saw this port in xda. Is it available for or phone

Android "O" or "P" Development possibilities for Sony Xperia M dual?
Hello developers around XDA...
I am currently using Ressurection Remix Final nougat 7.1.2 build in sony xperia m dual (C2004). The performance is good for daily task but since its release there has not been updates released by them. In mean time, google had released its new build ( Android "O" and "P"). i haven't seen any developer is working for this build for sony xperia m dual may be developers are not interested to do so. but there are people who are still using this device in the era of dual camera smartphones and building a new android "o" or "p" based rom could be challenging for developers to get performance equivalent to this device. I am very much excited to have those rom and do like to test it to increase its performance and stability. Hope to hear positive approach:good:.
Android P is out of the question because Sony Xperia M doesn't support even unofficially treble. About Android O if any dev feels like porting one, it will also be non-treble and hopefully without bugs.
