[HELP!] Apps keep force closing

Hey, I'm having a little trouble here..four of my apps keep constantly force closing: TW671 keyboard, Google Services Framework, Messaging, and Facebook. I think it might have been caused by overclocking to 1.3 GHz, but I booted back to 1 GHz and no luck! What should I do?!

Okay, so I tried clearing data on the Google Services framework and that fixed everything. But now the market gives me an error! Should I try rebooting again?

OMG HELP!!! NOW EVERYTHING IS FORCE CLOSING! Should I reflash the ROM?

Sorry for my impatience, but SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Are you running EXT4,if so, with or without journaling enabled?

Ya wipe 3x and re flash u should be fine.

+1, then make a nand backup and restore once completed,this will enable journaling...

I don't think so cuz I ran my phone with the genocide kernel at 1.4 and never had problems. But if ur phone froze and u had to pull the battrey out it could cause data coruption but that's only if if u have jeronling off

Oh...yeah, I've had to pull the battery a couple times...how do I fix this? Just make a nandroid backup?

If that's the cwm flashable zip, I believe it will not work. If its the cwm zip your referring to, then you must be on di18 or eb13s modem.
I believe you can get the ec05 modem.tar from k0nanes srf thread.

This is partially false. If it's not optimized for srf 1.2 it could break Rom fixes and cause force closes. Mystery explicitly says not to use any other themes than ones ready for it. Please stop spreading bad info. You can tell the ones that should run it well by the fact that they have 6 lockscreens and show an update since the release of 1.2.

My bad I didn't read the srf thread since I'm on i3 gingerbread I didn't realized that srf was so picky on themes right now. my apologies go with a srf theme then like mystery ones he's really good at them.

hmm... they dont "need" to have it baked in...you just lose it if you flash one without... i flashed honeycomb fusion 2.01 and it doesnt have the lockmod baked in and it works great, just now i dont have my puzzle lock screen...

Actually your one of the few people that got lucky.
I'm telling you right now that it will break things. this was tested during the beta phase and there was complacations when using themes with out the 6 lockscreen mod. There is also reports of this in my thread for 1.2

Dowload the latest one (which is nightly 27 right now).
Clearing data is recommended when moving over to CM7. Also, remember if you go over to MTD, the only way to get back on BML is to ODIN back using a stock .Tar, a PIT file, and having auto reboot "re-partrition" checked.
To take screenshots in CM7, just hold power button and once the power options menu pops up and towards the bottom of the menu u should see the "screenshot" button. Took me a while to find it at first

Wallpaper wont scroll after el30 update?

I just updated to el30 and I noticed that my wallpaper wont scroll.... is there any way I can change this? Not that big of a deal.... but COME ON SAMSUNG, this was one of the sweet features that made me buy this phone. well... not really...

Its touchwiz and no there's no way to get that back but you could get adw ex as a replacement launcher.... btws are you on stock el30 non rooted or rooted?

I just downloaded the odin recovery packages.... im so used to odining back to EC05 to clean up my epic I got tired of it LOL. I finally decided no more, so I odined back to el30 today for the first time and it SUCKS.
I love CM but I havent had much luck with it. My phone resets every time I try to download an app from the market, my web browser scrolling is horrible, I cant seem to get it to run right on my phone.

Just change your launcher. Get off the TW Launcher nipple. Try Zeam. Works fine.

Zeam launcher is sexy, however, I didn't know the non-scrolling was related to touchwiz, so I will now be downloading zeam.

Cm9 doesn't have scrolling lag nor does any of the newest cm7 nightlies... however there is a flashable to incorporate the smooth scrolling mod in development.
As for the reboots its the gapps that does it and you must wait for the phone to load completely before downloading andinstalling apps and if that doest help then you'll need to wipe data in cwm and reboot

Actually it has lots of lag scrolling up and down on contacts, in manage applications, and anywhere you can scroll through long lists. It's like it is sticky. But great for an Alpha. Seems CM7 is my daily now and CM9 is my toy.

Cm9? Or 7?
Cm9 is android 4.0.3 so a lot better than other ROM's
However some quirks such as high ram etc. Also there are certain tweaks other roms don't have ie CyanogenMod Settings. I'm not too sure but I have tw, cm7, miui , and cm9 backed up on my phone and jump from them on a day to day basis

Pay no attention to Biggies delusions, he runs his Epic at 2.0 Ghz with a turbo Nitrous afterburner and also wouldn't know lag if it fell on him...LOL. Everyone else but you are reporting that it takes more effort to scroll on CM9 and doesn't scroll a lot with a quick swipe.
