Rooted stock rom

I am looking for a rooted 2.2 stock rom. I am trying to do the PRI update but am having no luck. Some are suggesting that my rom is not allowing me to do the update. I am running DC 3.5 rom and netarchy 3.04 kernel. Any suggestions?

The new Wimax update.

I'm on sacs Rom currently so I'm not sure but does anyone know if the Wimax update on calks thread is necessary. I also switch between calks and sacs hd roms so if the update is necessary, is it also necessary for calks roms?

If you mean the newest radio then yes....probably a good idea to always have the latest radio.

radio's are ROM independent so if possible and they work for you (not a promise newer radios will work better for your device) upgrade them as they are available

modem relation to ROM?

I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I'd like to be sure.
You can only use a ROM that was made for your modem, as in EC05 or EG22 or any of the others, correct?
You can use any modem for any Rom from my understanding
Ex. I used to use ee03 modem for a ef02 Rom for better battery life

[ROM][EF02][Compkid23] **URBAN INCEPTION 1.1 07/01/11*RELEASED*
Here's an example of a ROM post....what does the EF02 mean?
Ef02 is the build number for epic firmwares
Ef02(gingerbread v2.3.3)
Ec05(froyo v2.2)
The newest firmware is EG22, which is gingerbread v2.3.4
The rom example you just posted is a gingerbread rom

No. The rom determines what firmware is installed.

You can say that, the Rom is built/based on whatever firmware it uses

If I'm not mistaken the 2.1 modems aren't to be used with 2.2 and 2.3 builds. For Froyo and Gingerbread DK28 and anything that starts with an E is safe to use.

[Q] Rooting 2.3.3 back to 2.2

Hey all,
I have a stock 2.3.3 device and I was elated to see that there is now a root for it. My question: The main reason that I want (need) to Root is that 2.3.3 broke ActiveSync and I can no longer sync my calendar / email (hitting this like many others).
My point is, I'd like to go back to 2.2 but am honestly not sure if there is a way even if it's just using the base image. I'd like to go to a custom ROM but most of them are updating and until Google fixes 2.3.3, I want to stay Froyo.
Any thoughts?
Root and then flash a stock rooted rom of 2.2 i believe that's all u need to do

Or be adventurous and flash myn's warm 2.2 rls5 it should be in the first or second page in the development thread. Its a Mega stable and good looking 2.2 sense rom hope that helps

Hm, I guess I wasn't ware that Myn's hadn't made the 2.3.3 jump - before I unrooted I had used that ROM.
Thanks, I'll give it a go!

Anyone else have suggestions for a 2.2 based rom? I flashed Synergy but really need to be able to sync my corporate email.
