Market in just in problem - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After i finish installing all my apps and settings it does that. Tried xlearing cache and same thingi think it has a conflict with an app or smth.
Tried arhd 3.3 and same thing happens.

App problems?

So I have the Dictionary.com app and the XDA app installed, for some reason on the dictionary app, when I try to search a word it force closes. On the XDA app, after logging in, I try to go somewhere like the homescreen or another forum, it force closes, forcing me to use the guest. I don't know what's causing the problem, but I went to buy another microsd card and that disappeared. I tried to clear the data on each under application manager but didn't work. Anyone have ideas as to what is causing the problem? Is it a sideloaded app or something wrong with the phone itself?

Try opening up Rom Manager and Fix Permissions, see if that fixes it.
If not what rom and kernel are you running?
I'm not rooted. Incredible 2.2

Have you tried unistalling both apps then reinstalling them?

Facebook Application-Keep asking for Password

This just started happening this morning, wondering if anyone else is having the issue. Facebook application keeps asking for the password, it will connect and then if I close/reopen it it will do the same thing.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the application. Cleared out the cache, still prompting for the password. Rebooted phone and then tried a battery pull, stiill asking me to log in.
Mine did that the other day, then it just stopped asking.
yea im running into the same issue ive tried uninstall reinstall clear data clear cache and nothing running CM7 Evo
Try a different rom ive had that problem before .. flased a diff rom and now its working fine

It's not the ROM, my FB has been doing that on my computer, too the last few days.
Yea, definitely not the ROM. For sure its a FB app problem. It happens to me sometimes, its irritating.

What model of xplay do you have? What rom are you using? Are you rooted? Is is every app that crashes, or just your launcher?

Play 4g art...stock rom/kernel...rooted.. and its mostly all my apps including music browser Facebook just everything :/
I would try a factory reset - Failing that, install a custom ROM and see if it works better.

chrome phone crash? ICS

Has anyone else had serious issues with the new chrome beta? I tried running it on my icecoldsandwich rom and it caused my phone to reboot twice in a row. I know its a beta and will inherently have issues, but I've never seen an app, especially a browser, act this poorly

I have not had any problem with it on aospX ics rom.

Neither have I. I even deleted and reinstalled chrome, but no dice. It just freezes, turns back after about 15 seconds and reboots.
The last time it happened it messed with my app drawer. When the phone restarted only one app showed in my drawer, so I had to do another reboot to fix that.

Update* After it being recommended that I clear my caches on my phone, I reinstalled chrome. This time I found that it works with every site I tried except for boingboing.net, which makes the phone reboot every time. Does anyone here have any ideas why this would happen? It's not exactly like Boingboing would be particularly hard to render

I'm running it on Virtuous Quattro RC3 without problem by itself. Tried boing boing and it works.
However, I find that having Chrome beta running cause some other apps to FC. (Can't even launch until I manually kill Chrome)

For me it's working nicely on IceColdSandwich 1.4.0
No problem at all on IceColdSandwich 1.5.0,
even the reported "pink"graphics glitches are (allmost) gone
with the very latest 1.5.test3 by LordClockaN.
Well frankly there are better browsers than chrome out there..
P.S. - no issues for me also on lord's ics latest test build

[Q] Constant force closing of android market 3.4.4

So after my facebook app never opened and kept force closing, I did the overkill thing and reinstalled a new ROM.
Now Market worked for one day and now after opening it after 3 seconds it force closes immediately. I cleared cache and data, wiped dalvik cache as well. I don't really want to install a new ROM again just for the sake of one app, so is there any fix for it? Google has led me to no solution.
Also installing from market through my pc is not working as well. I can press install but the phone does not download or install anything.
I'm beginning to get quite irritated or I could be overreacting .
Try downgrade to version 2.3.6
