Right so I've actually scratched the lens slightly inside the battery cover after dropping my phone the back came off. The photo quality is still rather good but is it possible to actually manually replace the camera lens or get it done somewhere?
Thanks if anyone has any ideas

The problem I'm having is a scratched camera lens which causes excessive amount of glare on photos and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if it is possible to replace the lens.
Hi there, yea I have the same problem, scratched my camera lens when cleaning. It seems there was something sharp on the cloth, now my photos look a bit worse and that scratch added more noise, but I think you should take your mobile to service center it's the only way to remove it safely. Hope I helped.

I had not dust, but some kind of a residue that was making the lens cover "foggy" from the inside. I discovered it when I removed the back cover from my phone (for different reason). Cleaned it with a q-tip, which made pictures much better. So, if you are sure you have some crap inside, the only way to get rid of it is to remove the back cover, and clean it up. It's not a difficult task... You need to remove two screws at the bottom, and carefully pry your cover open, starting at the bottom, and working your way along the sides to the top. Don't forget to take out your SIM tray BEFORE removing the cover! When you're done, put the cover back, starting at the top, and snapping it in place along the sides, and down to the bottom. It's a bit tricky to hold side buttons in place while snapping the cover back on, but not too much...
So the camera lens for my G3 broke. I didn't drop it or anything, it just broke. I bought a replacement part just for the lens cover. When I was trying to take apart the lens, I noticed that it has a seal on the top that keeps the lens cover connected. Can i take off the cover or will there be problems because of the seal? I've attached a link so you guys know which part I'm talking about.

Are you trying to take the glass out of that piece you linked to, and attach it to the one on your phone? It seems it would be easier to replace the entire piece rather than just the glass.
If not, I suspect the seal is designed to hold the glass in place and prevent dust from getting inside the assembly. As long as you make sure the new glass piece is sealed somehow (glue?), it will probably be OK. But I've never done this, so to some extent I'm guessing.
Update?

Hi - what was the outcome for this? The same thing has happened to my phone and I see that part you linked. Could you explain whether you installed the part and whether your problem was because you were trying to separate just the glass from the part or whether you had trouble with just removing and then installing that new part. Some pics to help us out?
Thanks.
I noticed there are small dust particles under the glass of the front camera. I have no idea how that got there. But I wonder if there's anyway I could remove them without taking the phone apart.
I have got some small dusts on the back camera but thank god it doesn't effect the quality.
I think you need to remove the front screen to remove the dust.
Just a curious question. I had to replace my screen a while back but I was careless and some dust got on the front camera lens. Is then ANY way to clean it without taking the screen off?
