Nope. I believe it's anyone who installs DK28. Atleast from everybody I know who has the same issue once I teach them how to root. Also when I had the DK28 leak it was the same issue so I kind of believe its DK28 and not the roms..
Ive been doing some reading and came across a couple threads that had this but it seemed like ti didnt work for alot of people so i was wondering if anyone has a flashable zip or a .jar file that i can use to remove my taskbar clock completely. I use syndicate 1.0.2 rom on eb13 (no i will not go to ec05 because i hate it) thanks for anyone who can help!

I believe it was an EC05 ONLY thing. And I've only seen it available on Bonsai v4.0. It was a leaked build of EC05 from my belief and none has existed since the official release.
i saw some for eb13 but didnt know if they were working. Its just a services.jar file that has to be edited to my knowledge but who knows
I bet if you tried the EB13 version it would work with no ill affects...
Edit::: try EC05 version on EB13...

Edit: The ec05 one DOES work on syndicate 1.0.2 eb13 I will repost if i have any problems. Thanks for the help people.

Hey guys so I am back on here after skiming by once in a while to see wat was new but I a back now to try something new I've been stuck on stock rooted 2.2 I think cause I don't even kno what I have...ohh wait I have bonsai 4.0.1 I kind of gave up on bonsai cause both 4.1.3 and anything after 4.0.1 one left a bad taste in my mouth and really dnt want to try that again so pretty much I am on here to get bck in the trying out game and seeif anybody could recomend what's the badest ROM available now I would gladly apreciate it!!

Stability and battery life: srf
Cutting edge (decent battery from what I hear): the new gingerbread leak, don't think anybodys done anything with it yet though. If you want a gingerbread more customized try the era rom but I don't think its based on the newest leak.

Hey bro thanks a lot I look into those roms is acs any good? Anybody got any other sugestion I was looking into miui but no 4g is abig thing for me I depend on it lol

Yeah that's exactly why I'm not really too excited about cm or miui. No way I'm giving up 4g I pay 10 extra a month for it, you know? And acs makes SRF and they do gingerbead stuff. A reliable group to go with. They have their own forums at acsyndicate.com.

Hey guys, I have a sprint samsung epic 4g, I was running the stock froyo on it, and tried to update it to gingerbread through odin3, During the process my micro usb cable became unplugged and I can now only see a picture of a phone with an exclamation point in the middle of a yellow triangle and then a computer. I can get it to flash into clockwork recovery mod, but nothing seems to work there.... Can anyone give me any information on what that picture means? I think it is a softbrick, but since I am a noob I am unsure... Any help at all is appreciated. I would love to pay you guys for useful information that unbricks my phone.

in to beat dead horse..
this happened to me when i tried to go from EB13 Viper ROM to the ACS 1.2 Frozen to ODIN to EC05.
this was just a week after i started messing with flashing ROMS. I freaked out and thought my phone was Toast. I ODIN'd back to EB13, got a new EC05 .tar and life was good

which is the better more stable Modem?
I never had any stability issues with either, but I get much better data speeds with the EI22 modem.
Modems will work differently for everybody depending on where your located... try all (not jus ec05 and ei22) and see what works best for you!

What do you mean if the whole update fails or if the modem fails?.... its not too hard I can link you to a video that will teach you how to revert back to stock via odin.

Long story short, I was on AC ICS v2 and the EI22 modem kept messing up, Would lose all data and no signall. SO i had a friend odin it back to EC05... Now i updated to v55 of ACS and The modem seems a lil flakly on EC05 so wanted to go to EI22 again and see what happens... (plus i want to go to revival and need that anyway) just wanted to know how to odin it back properly in the event of a failure again...

Aw okay much clearer.... You have have the delta flashable for the ei22 modem? And give me a sec to find the video

Yes I have the modem.ec05toei22.. Im ready to go for that... Just wanted the odin part just in case..

It shouldn't I don't thing acs ics v2 was very stable it had aot of quirks to it so you should be in the clear.

I would flash EI22. I believe the EI22 modem give you better battery life on the gingerbread roms.
Sooooo WEIRD... Earlier in my post I said that on EI22 the Signal and 3g woudl completely die... Well So last week i moved back to EI22 on ACS ICS v5.5... It was perfectly fine... I come to my office this morning and it goes to 1x then dies completely.. WTF... I dotn get it, Only happens when I come here though, No where else.. Does anyone know what could be causing it to happen at my office, What could interfer???

A crap ton of things can cause a bad signal. The mix of all the radio frequencies in that place could be making you radio go haywire... although I don't think that's the case you may have a bad radio... unless that office is THE only place you have that happen.

yes its the only place it happens. i left and drove a few mins away everything restored... weird... never had issues on ec05 there.. doesnt mke any sense
There are radio/electro magnetic deadspots everywhere. I go from full signal to no signal along my couch in my Living Room. Had to install an Airave just for that dead spot.
