I know this may be a very simple question, but with the new Desire HD (Pyramid) Port, is it likely that the EVO will get this ROM with the new sense as well?

First of all, wrong section for this post. Second, devs are working on it so you'll just have to read the appropriate threads in this forum or be on the lookout for a release soon.

There are multiple Sense HD ROM releases.
Check Desire Android Development.

I see that the Thunderbird ROM uis booting on the EVO.
I'm guessing it could mean we could see that ROM ported to the Inc ?
Are any Dev's considering this ?
I could not find it in the Evo thread, could you point it out?
I thought the Thunderbolt was supposed to be similar to the Desire Z style of Sense, just with a few Verizon specific apps.
Am I wrong?

It's very similar, but its a cdma version so it should be more stable plus it probably has some new optimization to make it faster

Hello Dev and everyones, currently I have mytouch4g. I love Sense and want to get LGX2, is it easier to port Sense to LG firmware? Reason I ask because I never see Samsung galaxy s series, 4G, Nexus S have any Sense port all they have is AOSP rom like CM7, Miui etc... Is it because Samsung use different file system? Can sense be ported to LG? Or should I wait and get Sense phone like Evo 3d, HTC Pyramid?

Sense isn't open source, that's why you'll never really see it ported to another device. Pretty much the only option would be to get a Sense phone.

Thanks, so if I decide to get LGX2 or Samsung s 2 I will never see Sense on those phone? Only option is to get HTC phone?

Exactly. It's kind of like how you'll never see MotoBlur or Touchwiz on any non-Moto or non-Samsung device (although I don't know why you would want to with those). The reasons all non-sense roms are AOSP is exactly because it is open source, and can be modified and programmed to cater to specific devices.

I second this request. Maybe, if the theme is chosable in sense 2.1ish 3.0, we could just run it on a DZ/G2 rom that exists, and just add a metamorph theme?
Sorry to revive an ancient thread. I did a port of this ROM to the myTouch 4G and seeing as we're all similar (Glacier, Desire HD and Z), I could probably port it for you guys. I don't have the device but if any of you are willing to download 400 megabytes, wipe, test, fail/succeed, send logcats and all that fun, we could make it happen.
i did it but in a wrong way
well i installed Honeysense HD v7.3.0 you mentioned in your post on my G2 without any port.
getting problems like
1) Call disconnections
2) low battery life
3) it unrooted my phone how i cant root it again to revert back to unity which was working on smoothly

I don't think your supposed to post this here, but there is a post somewhere in the general section for One V talking about it.
On a side note: A lot of people, I believe at least, are waiting for it to be port to a device with a "not so different" screen then ours or more similar hardware.

HTC wont be releasing an official JB rom for the OneV but eventually, they will release something similar enough that we can port. We have no hardware limits, like the wildfire S does/did so the sky is totally our limit
The one x+ shipped with sense jellybean I will try to learn ROM porting this Christmas after I learn kernels

I hate sense - it looks ugly and old fashioned! But the camera would be welcome.. I miss it.. the one on PA ( and I guess all JB roms) sucks..
