Not sure who to ask or if it can be done but is there any way to get some of the add on HTC Widgets themed? The theme looks amazing and really like the task widget that you download from the more Widgets section but it really throws off the theme having the big yellow notebook with everything else being a pearly white and translucent black. Is this possible and if so how would it be added since the original has to be downloaded from HTC?
Over 60 veiws and no ideas on how to do it or if it can be done? Does anyone know were I would find the file that has the imiges and fonts for for the widget. Maybe I can pull them and try to change it myself to where it matches up a little better then put them back? I'm not sure how this works but I can give it a try I guess. Lol.

this is for people who don't won't the bugs with magic rom but like the looks .theme still in the works and added some htc magic wallpaper on post two. don't need to install rc33 light or move sound files .

1.first you need root and jf rc33 (1.42)
2.just change the name to update.zip and add it to your phones sd card
4.shut the phone off and boot your phone in to recovery mode by holding the home+(red)power button until you get to a android system recovery screen
5.then press ALT+S .. and there your done

sweet!! what i never really liked about the original default was the Browser icon, drove me crazy lol (hated it) but despite the fact everyone here in xda has made amazing themes, i still love the original status bar the best! thank u for this!

i did have the icon you have in it but i like the one i have .both icons are used depending on the magic build.i think the one i have looks good with the calender and contacts icon but if more people like the one you posted i will add it when i add the dialer first i need to make it.
This was a smooth idea making this theme its cool as hell more up to date than the original default theme.
I like that icon so i made a few edits and will be adding to my bettercut icon pack. Thanks
the new icon is nice i agree its funny the first theme i started out with was deep black now im back to ur theme are u going to change the gesture unlock kinda hard to see the circles

Here is a ported theme that was originally done by Manup for Dude's G1 rom.
This is for those with a 32A phone and is the Amon_RA 1.0.1H rom.
I hope i have done it justice porting it. I have added a couple of my own preferences and will be adding more. It is a VERY works in progress.... a very quick port. Statusbar is now black. havent updated other shots.
This is template size so you can easily update it.
Theme includes latest launcher from Cyanogen with 5 home screens and extra apps in drawer.
I have also attached a matching dxtop theme if anyone is interested.
If you like it donate to manup456. He worked hard on this and deserves the full praise for it.

Don't worry, I won't use it. Disliking this theme doesn't mean I dislike everything he did. One should be able to recieve both positive and negative feedback. A solution to make this look more attractive would be disabling jpeg compression in your preview screenshots. Jpeg makes everything look horrible and blurred, especially hard reds, blues and greens. I'd start with enhancing that. Furthermode I'd not downsize the previews because that blurs the whole thing as well.
To state I didn't just suck the feedback out of my thumb:
You can barely read the battery status (looks like he modified the battery I did for my own theme).
The color for the background behind the time doesn't fit the other colors.
On the first screenshot you/he used 4-5 teints of blue... it's overly blue.
yeah i see your point.... didnt even look at the pics myself.... sorry about that... just stuck them straight in from what screenshot app took....
as for the blues- i see what you mean- never really looked at it that closely.....i did do the clock bgd colour though- with the same blue it was too dark to read clock properly and i was unable to edit services.jar to make it any other colour....tbh i think i prefer the different blues....is that an issue having too many blues? I am in medical field, not graphics....
i changed the battery on the black one so i could see it properly....good point.... i must have noticed that too.... or maybe it was coincidence i changed it.....
i prefer hero myself but occasionally i will try this- a bit dark for my likings though.....

Too many teints of the same color can cause disharmony and the black and blue combination isn't the best there is... I mean, there is no variation in this theme. It's all black with a bit of blue...
To get you started: The blue you applied behind the clock is more purple than blue, try changing it to a more contrastive color like an almost white, and definately don't use harsh rectangles in a round shaped UI like Android Instead use rounder shapes, try Photoshop's rounded rectangle tool with a nice r. One of the things I do like about the theme is the "Android" text on drawn down statusbar in the 4st screenshot but it seems not to be entirely centered.

if you have Amon_RA's new recovery- 1.2.0H then you just stick the zip file on sd card, then go to recovery and select "Apply sdcard:choose zip". Select the one you want and off it goes.
if you don't have it, get it. In the mean time rename to update.zip and install via recovery as per normal rom flash.

I love the white notification bar of stock android, its just nicer to me, so you can see why the black one is a problem.

Flash a new theme...search for DetoxEVO by konicub...it is a white theme
another white theme is snowtheme Aloysius. by the same person.

If you don't want a theme then just download an AOSP look alike ROM...

I like the rom, it works very nicely, just a few things id really like to change with its look.
I really have trouble with reading menus (the ones that appear when phone is doing something or when you press long to get menu for copy, paste, move...) when the text below them is seen through, id also love to have the notification panel that you pull down without the logo in a simple black non-translucent color.
So if you could make version with the menus and those windows non-transparent, make the notification panel also a simple non-transparent black without the logo and if its not too hard maby add the overscoll glow... i know its a long shot asking this just for me, but id be so happy if this could be done and i bet some other users might also like such a mod...

I know of that one, but all the menus are still transparent, as well as the notification area (it doesnt have the logo which is nice, but its transparent instead). I really cant use transparent windows as it literally makes my head hurt. Thats the thing i need the most, solid menus/windows/notification area like all the other roms have. The circular battery icon from litening id miss if i used that mod, i really like that circular battery icon. So basically just need to get rid of transparency, the rest is pretty much gravy in litening... the overscroll glow would be a nice bonus, but not nearly as important to me.
I know this is a bit off topic now, but is there any way i could get the power savings widget like it was on the Galaxy S (think it used to be called power control and it had just wifi, bluetooth, gps, sync and brightness) with either blue or green lights? Could i get the one from Galaxy S somewhere that would work or has this already been made somewhere maby?
Or another way would be if someone would deodex the stock framework from KE7 for me so it would work in Litening 1.0... or teach me how to do that myself...
That would replace the menus and notification area with the stock one and leave the system menu and battery icon intact right?
Anyone willing to deodex it for me or at least tell me how to do it myself?
What do you want done? Just a black notification pulldown with no transparency? If so, if you upload your SystemUI.apk from your system/app folder I will do it for you.

Sense 4 is alright as it is. However, I'd like to figure out a way to skin the current dock bar. Does anyone have a n00b guide out there?
I don't want to replace the Sense Launcher with Nova or Apex, since that'll basically disabled Sense widgets which is not a big deal but since a lot of other elements will remained skinned (in Sense) it would look worse to combine Sense with the AOSP-look
So in short, I want to be able to skin the current dock bar oh and also, does anyone know to replace the icons quick and easy? or are we looking at decompiling the framework-res.apk files and hack away?
