some roms have them. I found one that's called "fly in mix" that's flashable thru cwm from a theme in the theme section.
Now, the real question is.....
Is there a collection of animation mods flashable thru cwm?
Transitions are part of framework-res.apk. Framework-res.apk houses 80% of a theme.

Im aware. But there are zip files that flash they thru cwm. Its on the android dev section. Works but only on custom roms. I found 2 versions. 1 that has a mix. And the other that's just makes the pop up windows fly in.

Yes and there theme specific

Yeah I imagine it flashes a framework-res.apk altogether. Like a different one with the same theme but different animation.
cd's or tapes?

So the rom/theme I'm using uses green for a highlight/select color, but I like the blue (or possibly purple or something for some). I was wondering what elements where would need to be edited?
It's not the only thing I'd want to edit, so really the starting point should be sufficient.

You need to read the how to theme threads. Your awnsers are in there. The green highlights arte either controlled by images or xml code. Everything is found in the framework-res.apk that would need to be changed. In order to edit an xml file you need to de compile the apk. Images can just be dragged and dropped using 7zip our winrar

The theming how to has been really great so far, there is a section of the How To that lists all the tools you will need her. I am working on switching my color from blue to red! I am playing with shades of red and trying to figure out a way to change the highlighting shape on the keypad.. want to change it from a square / rectangle to a star.

I cracked open the framework-res from emotionless today, gonna have to try it on my desktop instead of my netbook so I can do editing. Thanks for the link, think I stubled across it (way too many sites/forums and some are so nonspecific)
My next challenge is bootani, I broke the one on baked snack 1.6 somehow.

There is alot of information about this in either the Extreme kernel thread or the ACS Rom thread.

Hey, after TW 4.0 is really working for our device, I was wondering if it was possible someone could work on a theme port like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058221
It would go great with the new EE03 ROMs since it is Gingerbread and it just looks amazing!
(Although, please, don't change the notification bar like they did! I hate battery % mods, lol)
Oh, and also can someone include the green CRT overscroll animation and some of the other green parts (like the text and copy and paste icons)

To each in own but i like the % battery it shows the regular bar as well as the % so i you cant really complain there but if its going to be such a hassle why not make 2 diff. versions if alot of people request that. i doubt it though.
Also this theme is pretty stock and just like the stock Gingerbread theme so i hardly doubt that this is going to be ported.

Well, the battery % thing is just a me thing. I don't really care if it's there; it just makes me more obsessed with battery life.
Second, the icons are pretty different and would be an interesting addition combined with the new TW 4.0.
I know it doesn't have major theme changes, but it's sleek and feels more up-to-date with the GS II in my opinion.
Great idea that new touchwiz look is sexy
I like that. Looks awesome.

For the theme I posted in the OP.
Hey guys, I've been trying to use the UOT kitchen, and really, I've been having some issues with it and I don't know a fix for it.. I'm running EG22 on RandomROM 2.3.4 w/ EG22 modem. For the framework files I chose the ones in the RandomROM.
the file attached is the UOT kitchen which I flashed, which just doesn't do what all I picked. It only does the overscroll color.
nothing? ...
I myself don't know if using the kitchen has any effects on our Epics. We're in a sense bastardized in many aspects unfortunately. What are you trying to accomplish using the kitchen?

Generally just different notification bar , with a change to the white color, and I'm also changing the volume slider thing & just little tweaks like that.
I think its probably easier to do it manually.

You shouldn't be flashing files from there I think. You should just be clicking and dragging the pngs made to your framework you already have on for your phone

This is my first time ever putting together a theme. I used UOT kitchen just to put something together. Its just black and blue with honeycomb icons.
I think it still needs some work, I'm not sure how to edit the colors of widgets or apps yet.
I am probably going to make some changes as I get better. If anyone has any advice then feel free to PM me.
Features : Custom Battery Icon
Honeycomb Icons
Black notification bar (transparent background)
Dark Blue overscrolls
Other slight Color changes
Kinda ugly I think... But Im sharing it anyway!
You should be able to flash via CWM.
BACK UP YOUR ROM BEFORE FLASHING JUST IN CASE.
NEW: Just edited some of the colors a bit And changed the battery icon.
Screenshots
(Not updated for new version) I will take new screenshots later. I am tired. The new colors are much better I think.
Changes
Please tell me what you like / dont like.
Looks great besides the battery icon, should be blue like the rest. Great work though and thanks!

Its honeycomb colored. But It changes color when your battery is at different levels.
At full charge it matches the rest of the honeycomb icons.
Im working on some tweaks already. I dont like the color of the pop up screens.
I understand, thanks a million, looks great so far. I'm excited to see where you take it.
Maybe I should research this kitchen stuff and take a shot at themes too!

You can do this by using a program like WinZip or 7Zip to open the APK files (they're effectively just .zip archives with a different extension) and changing the files. Its pretty easy save for the part where you have to make new images. Most images used in Android are .9.png files which need to be nine patched. There are tons of threads all over XDA about how to do this. Check it out, mate.
BTW nice work.

Would it work to theme the actual cm9 rom to get things themed that themes can't get such as lock screen? That's the only thing I can think of right now but I'm sure there's more things. Would this work or does the theme replace any files that would change whatever was changed from the original rom?

Yes it will work just fine. As long as the theme apk doesnt interfere with what your themeing it will be just fine. I'll break down what the theme is..
Essentially it is a redirection. It has the drawable folders just like the ROM for whatever DPI, in the epic's case HDPI. How it works is a redirection XML will shoot the application to another XML which is written to specify what goes where. Such as the status_bar... you would place that image in the Drawable-HDPI and the XML for the SystemUI.apk would be written for that [email protected]/status_bar.png if you catch my drift.
Of course its a bit more complicated but that is the essential. just an FYI if you decide to ever make one.
Ya I get what you're saying. I have thought of making a cm7/9 theme but never had time. But I think I want to just add a little more to the theme that hasn't been done.

Ya I know that I meant that they're both used the same way, like the lock screen isn't themed from the theme itself. I know that I can't use them on both roms lol. I may have asked a dumb question earlier about contacts but I'm not that much of a noob to try cm9 themes on cm7 lol. And the contacts was just because I don't have experience with cm9 lol this is the first time I ever ever actually use it lol.
