[Request][Mod] HTC Sense 3.0 Lockscreen

Hey,
Just saw a (p)review (23mins) of the HTC Sensation and i found the Locksceen very insteresting!
Therefore I'd like to know whether any Dev here in this forum is able port it?
These are a few Links (xda) that might help!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062962
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056652
Thanks in advance
Nobody able/interested?
I think that it is a very cool lockscreen, too!
Looking good indeed.
Lockscreen 3.0 from htc looks like very wonderfull..i try it on my old Desire..if someone knows how to port it for Galaxy S please works on it..
Thanks
I don't think it can be ported on galaxy S as HTC uses other frameworks. But who knows. Only on CM7 ROMs maybe

Correct!
Even if we succeed in porting it, it would still have a lot of bugs that would require the HTC framework to work properly.
OK. Can be closed!
Would have been too awesome
I hope Cyanogen can make it working..
It will be there in my next Sense port version (0.3)!!

[Q] simple beautiful theme please

hi guys, can anyone one of you pls post a simple yet attractive theme which conserves the least amount of battery & looks pretty good ???
i desperately want it.
because, default theme with Touchwiz looks too bright & shiny... kind of glaring to my eyes. i think that can also consume lot of battery..
i prefer dark background with white letters & fonts would be best...
i hope someone here can help me.
i saw one user posting his desktop in post your desktop thread. but he has never told us the steps he used to get that theme.
i request him to pls share his settings her, as we know what kind of softwares he has used to get that effect....
help us to feel better guys...

Is there a guide anywhere on how to do this?
I assume you would need to have rooted first?
I can't seem to find anything here that deals with that...

That wont help him ..
If I was you Id flash the Lite'ning Rom (link below)
Great rom and it gives you the theme with the rom ..
From there you can flash any KE7 theme from the forums ..
There are usually instructions on how to do it ...
You need a deodexed rom to flash themes ..
Here's a few good starting points ...this will also give you root..

We all had to start somewhere ..If he needs help or more info then he only has to ask ..
Some of us on XDA work together as a community...
The help and advice if there if he wants it ...if not then that's fine..
The point of your post is ? ...
I agree we where all newbies at one time, even i am just getting to grips with it.
All the help you need is on this forum, dont be afraid to ask.
Re:
Sorry didnt see that you have seen the post your desktop thread, but the answer to your questions are within that thread itself.
Most of the posters have mentioned the software they have used (Launchers, widgetlocker, icon packs, backgrounds) etc. I agree its a pain to navigate through the pages looking for this kind of info but hey its wortht the effort! I am a newbie to Android too and the post your desktop thread has taught me so much, most of the software listed there is free and on the Android market too.
Personally I am using Simi clock, battery and weather widgets along with the 'Beautiful widgets'. Try these for a start.

I was hoping I could change a theme, ie the look of the icons, the fonts etc without having to flash a ROM....I have flashed ROM's before but I always found the phone to become a bit unstable afterwards. (This was on the SE X1 so perhaps it was the crappy phone rather than the ROM!!)
I can't see anywhere how to change the global icons or the global font's and things.
I was hoping you could just install/uninstall a theme...but it doesn't look like you can do such a thing.
I have Widget Locker and Launcher Pro but none of those seem to allow a total global theme...
Will Go Launcher EX enable me to do all that?

[REQ]/[PORT] MIUI Themes/Lockscreens/Theme Manager

Searched if there already was this kinda topic here, and it wasn't.
Is it possible to get the MIUI Lockscreens ported to our beloved SGS2?
Please take a look at this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1134657
They look REALLY AWESOME and I would die for this on my SGS2.
Anyone who can do some magic?
Would gladly donate to the person who can/will port this, if possible
Thanks in advance
/CK
Thats the first ever bit of miui that I actually like. Nice find, hope someone ports them over.
It would be very cool if someone could make that

Just download the mtz file and install(open) it. It will ask to install the theme.
To change/edit go to apps->themes->edit-theme->lockscreen
Works on my i9100 with MIUI 1.7.1 test31

No worries. This is a bit OT for this thread, sorry. But can you tell me short about the rom? Like are the battery times good? And can you chose danish language in the rom as well? Are the shortcuts in the lockscreens configurable?
Thank you

Widgetlocker is a good alternative, its on the market and there are loads of miui slider down themes here on xda.
I will say it isnt free but well worth the money and works a dream on the sgs2
Hope this helps

These locksccreen couldn't be ported. They havent been ported to any stock rom phone. They work for any MIUI port but not on stock.
Use widgetlocker if you want but I don't like having another apps running in background and thus consuming battery only to have a lockscreen. Plus wl could be incompatible with apps tracking the screen unlocked as so it isn't a real lockscreen (embedded in system) but an app that SIMULATES a lockscreen

Battery times seem alot better then stock (though i didnt charge > 8 times on stock, installed roms straight away. Batt. live seems to improve after first few charges)
The shortcuts are configurable only by changing its path in the xml of the lockscreen, not by MIUI interface.
For me, MIUI is the best rom for SGS2 atm...still waiting for CM tho

I know that it is possible to get a default lockscreen changed on the SGS II. Nitr8 SGSII ROM has the stock android lockscreen instead of Samsung, he advised me that you can use this old SGS thread and it works. As I'm a ROM cooker and not a themer and don't deal with frameworks, somebody else (Maybe a themer) can try it? thread on how to do it is here
Thanks for the tip, mate

Thanks for the info. I do the odd bit of xml changing for my themes. If its to do with xml maybe I stand a chance but if its smali I wouldn't know where to start, I think its time to do some reading and try and learn.
I would love to change this lockscreen. I'm going to try next week.
I don't like miui but I installed it on my desire just to try these lock screens and they are really nice.

First of all congrats on your new phone...... second, wrong place to post. Post questions in the general section
Now for your answer.....CM7 is built directly from the source code by Google.... HTC customized it to make HTC Sense UI, so its pretty much not possible at the moment to keep HTC Sense and CM7 features....
This requires a hybrid rom and there are no hybrid roms available for our phone. You can use sense themes and lockscreen programs for the sense lockscreen and many other sense related apps on the Google Play Store... to get the sense feel.
Hope this helps
And do remember to post questions in the general section next time
