Nah. It'd be nice if it were possible, but it's not. =/
Man, I would definitely pay for anyone who took time to figure it out

It can't be done. It's not just that nobody is willing to try.
There goes my hopes and dreams

I'm wondering if it is possible to put missed texts from handcent on the puzzle lock screen. Is that a app sided feature or is it down to the framework?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I think it takes some file edits to redirect where the lockscreens get their notifications.
Posted by Mr. Z's Epic 4G.
I'll throw my question to the themer then.

Zanders right.. its been brought up before I think. Id really like to see this done. I an use widget locker with adw notifier and it gives me an unread count.. but I wanna use the stock puzzle or epic lock because it has a lock delay function that makes it easier for me to recover from an accidental idle screen off.
Cd's or tapes?
Iv thrown my question to a few devs. hopefully I get a reply.

I can't seem to find where the lock screen gets the missed text noti. Anyone know who could help me with this?

I think its smali code in a framework .jar file.
Posted by Mr. Z's Epic 4G.
Which means I would have to go through the source? I looked through the .jar file before. I dont remember seeing it

Leave it at this, the shortcut to the active call gets the cake to me. Why waste so much energy to get to the active call? Multitasking is generous with Touchwiz.

yeah.... just you
Touchwiz is worst thing on ICS. Somebody said that before and i got it right when i tried myself
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
In any case then, I'll ask had anyone found a launcher which takes you to the active call? I miss the end button.

not sure what you mean, not even from your first post...
like when someone calls you, does the call screen pop up?
well if that's your question.. mine does. I think it worked for TW ICS, but now i'm using APEX and it's working for sure on that launcher.

Just you. AOSP is so much better than Touch****
Third Samsung device but I hate Touchwiz
I'm sorry if my English doesn't work for you. The thing I'm trying to say is, when your multitasking and want to switch between apps and phone Call multiple times between during a phone call, Touchwiz will take you to the active call and make it so much easier when you press the phone on the launcher, you know the littler icon next to the app tray button than takes you to your active call unlike aosp which taker you to a dialer only, and not an active call.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Touchwiz is nice. The launcher not so much but everything else works.
To do what you want on AOSP you have to pull down on the notification bar and pres on the phone call notification. That's what I do on Touchwiz too.
i actually love gingerbread touchwiz way better than stock GB also love the dock bar cuz thats what i use alot. but after trying the 4.0 kang version damn i fell in love. GB TW has alot of cool features like turn ur phone over to mute it (perfect for when u dont wanna get up in teh morning), slide to call or message someone, browser leaves u in the exact same spot, dialer knows numbers when u type the names, i honestly dont know why ppl hate it sooo much. GB TW> stock GB but stock ICS> ICS TW. i honestly am gonna miss some features especially the turn over to mute cuz i REALLY REALLY!! hate trying to fiddle with it when ur half asleep trying to turn off the damn alarm when i could just turn it over and BAM it stops
I'm never gonna like aosp, if it wasn't for touchwiz would I be buying Samsung?

I do this also, I just use the notification bar, that's what I call multi tasking.. Not going to the home page and then clicking the call icon. I believe you can also hold home for the recent tasks. I do that a lot for multi tasking

Heck, that skyrocket ICS that was released a while ago by eugune or something looked better and felt better than the leaked ICS. **** TOUCHWIZ. Altho i prefer touchwiz on Gingerbread as it looks better than aosp, more suited for a larger screen.

bump, anyone know?
I've checked all the settings and as far as I can tell you can't change this. . I'm guessing this is something that devs can add as customization on their roms.
It only lasts about 5 seconds each time so it hasn't been much of a concern to me. But if someone finds a way I'll take it

The only way i know of is to completely turn off notifications but i dont think you wanna constantly be checking your phone.
Hey I found his nice app for displaying missed called, email and text message notifications on the lock screen somewhat like the iphone. It's setup as a live wall paper to show notifications in the background, that way you don't need to change our your original lockscreen.

Trying to figure out how to make the widget show on the main screen (under the clock) like in your image. Can't see a setting that does it... anyone else figure that out?

That's a screenshot of WidgetLocker, not the stock lockscreen.
Aside from multitasking what else does this new update contain.
I noticed it moved my pull down toggles around. ..

+1. Is it even worth stepping back from jedi 6.1.2? The only thing I can think of is the better battery life of the stock rom over the custom ones if all we are getting is the multi windows software from this.

I've noticed that there are new ink colors for the pen on the lock screen. Also, it feels like haptic feedback is a bit weaker.
Anyone know if we can customize the toggles in the notification window?

Try under display. I see it on clean ROM, and someone said theyd noticed they were rearranged I bet they included that as well.
Don't see anything under display. Bummer I guess
For some reason the multi view is not working any more.
I got the little tab. . But when I click program like google mail and Chrome the open in full screen. It worked for a few hours but then it stopped. ..

Settings - display - notification panel?
Unless that's specific to cleanrom.

Patching it using ExynosAbuse breaks the camera now, though.
Back Button does not activate multi-window
I am on stock ROM no rooting done at all.
After the update, tried to hold down the back button but will not activate the multi window.
I can only activate it on the notification bar.
Please advise and thank you.
I would make sure under settings that its enabled and if it is then try a reboot and renable the feature as I have two notes one which is stock and works just fine
