Ugh! Ok, so I used MyBackup Pro to save all of my data and apps and I moved to Syndicate Frozen ROM.
It saved everything to my SD card: rerware\MyBackup\
and there's 4 folders in the MyBackup folder:
AllAppsBackups
AllBackups
temp
tempHtml
No matter what directory I tell MyBackup Pro, it keeps coming back saying:
No backups were found at the current backup location path. Make sure you create a backup first.
Help!
Tell it the backup location is
/mnt/sdcard

I get an error that it can't write to the sd card as I have apps on my sd card using mybackup. Does titanium have the same issue. Or do I have to leave apps on the phone to restore then move to the sd card? I have tried reading and haven't found this yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
If anything can I pull the data from the mybackup back up and use root explorer to install it. If so I know I have to move the app back to the phone but where would it go. For example angry birds...

I use Titanium Backup Pro for all my user apps (no system apps, other than voicemail data, and Wifi access points) with the Auto-Sync and Force to same location options enabled, this works great and all the apps are restored to the same location.
I use MyBackup for SMS, MMS, call logs, and contacts only, and have not had any issues.
Before I flash a rom, I backup my SD card (i've had my pictures disappear before) to my computer and also do a full backup in clockworkmod for good measure, just in case something does not backup/restore properly.
Titanium works great for me. Never used my backup pro.

Hello everyone,
I finished flashing a custom ROM to my SGSII and after installing Titanium Backup Prop and it's license, I cannot get it to allow me to do a batch restore of all my apps. I can go to MENU | PREFERENCES | BACKUP FOLDER LOCATION, search for my backup folder which is /mnt/sdcard/external_sd/TitaniumBackup and it will say the folder contains 69 backups. I click on Use the current folder button and then it tells me that once I exit preferences the app will reload itself.
It reloads but when I click MENU | BATCH, it will not show any apps to restore! Anyone has this happen to them? Any help guys and gals? Thanks in advance.
For whatever reason it wont read the external sd card. Just copy the TB file to the internal memory and then try the batch restore. That what I did coming from the Evo.

Ok, will give that a try... thanks!
Nop, didn't work. I set the backup folder to the internal storage and made sure all backups were in the folder. When I click on BATCH it will not show any backups to restore. I also made sure UNKNOWN SOURCES is CHECKED in my phone's settings.
M2iceman, the problem was with my filters. Duh!!! Thanks anyway for trying to help. Thanks your way!

Go into titanium backup>press menu>preferences >backup folder location>detect>whole device. That should help. If not then good luck.
There is enough hate in the world. Why can't we all get along here ...?

Your s2 is looking in the new titanium folder that the app created when you installed it. on the s2 it was created on the phones internal sd and not the actual external sd that you have your titanium folder on. Just delete the new titanium folder and move the old one from your actual sd card over to the phones sd card. (if that makes sense)
I want to backup my "Angry Birds Star War" save files but i don't know where is it
The path should be "/data/data/com.rovio.angrybirdsstarwars.ads.iap/files/" on other devices but it isn't exist on T989.
Kindly please help.
Thank you very much.
Is your phone rooted? If it is you should download a backup app like Titanium Backup. You can use it to save both apps and data, meaning your save files would be preserved. If you want to back up the file to a hard drive, you can always copy the backup file that Titanium Backup creates to that drive.

Not rooted. So that i need to know the exact path for "adb pull" the file.
I can do that on other phone but not this one.
So what i need to know if the T989 apps are installed into "/data/data" ?
Or the angrys birds having a special version on T989 so that the package isn't "com.rovio.angrybirdsstarwars.ads.iap"
Thanks.
Having problems restoring Apps from TB (Titanium Backup) after changing my ROM from Stock 20W to Novastock V21A.
I performed a full backup of all APPS to my external SD card. After flashing the new ROM, I detect the TB directory,
and set it. But, TB can only see the apps I have installed from the play store after the flash. It can see the backed up Apps
but they have a line through them and TB thinks they are zero bytes. I have applied the SD card Fix.
When I use root explorer and click on the /storage/external_SD/Titanium_Backup directory, root explorer just hangs...
Hmm, this would explain why TB can't access the previously backed up Apps.....
After I restore my nandroid of the previous 20W ROM, I can see the TB directory. Wondering if this is down to a SELINUX issue.
Anyone got any ideas of why I can't access the external SD card TB directory OR what I can do to resolve this...?
Thanks

If you're still having this issue, try using NextApp's SDFix. That's what I've been using when I hop around between roms.
