[R] Market Fingerprint changing app - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I want to know is it possible for someone to develop an app that can change the Android market fingerprint to make more apps available on the market
*there is an app that does this it's called Galaxy S tweaker but it's not a trusted app ( many phones have been bricked because of this app )*

You can easily edit it manually.
1) Download and install Root Explorer
2) In Root Explorer, navigate to the /system folder
3) Long press build.prop then Open in text editor>Modify fingerprint line as desired>Save changes>Reboot

Messing with anything that requires root can potentially brick your phone. Even modifying the build.prop your self leaves a risk of a brick.
If you don't know what your doing and don't greek comfortable doing it just don't do it

not quite
the one that comes with the phone is a DEMO version
the one in GetJar is full version
and forum rules dictates we are not allowed to talk about any other version as all others are illegal
got it, I better read the rules again and to see if I miss anything. So much stuff to learn. Didn't mean to cause any troubles.

.....sorry
I thought getjar was legal.
Won't happen again.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Get jar is legal.
yes,
Android Market
Amazon Market
Getjar
and there was one more i forgot the name Snoop, snoopy or something like that i forgot the name, it is a Market only for Developments
and the soon to be CyanogenMod Market (not launched yet)
only those 4~5 are considered legal in XDA all other ones are either grey market or black market as in warez

ICS style task switching
I use an app for this, which name is "Perfect task switcher".
It shows a preview of running apps (only stock based roms, not in CM7)
You can set it to show only running tasks.
I tried a lot of task manager, switcher apps. And I found that the best .I think you like it.
Here is the market link:

Yes, however it takes root and some flashing. To be able to do it from the settings/display menu option would be nice
I agree with blackdragon79x, to be able to theme would be great.

Me personally, I can go for some motions, they always seem to amaze me, I honestly still get a kick out of swiping my hand across my phone to take a screen shot lol, if not that, some more options in the power saving settings, or a default settings to keep screen off when you receive a notification, not that it bothers me because I'm rooted and I use freeza's fregs3 ROM which comes with that option, but I'm sure other would really appreciate it

cool stuff! you got any recommended tracks for audio to go with the hubble boot?
Personally, if I had to put audio to this, it would be some part of the opening theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Correct the are NOT flashable, I just replace the bootanimation in system>media using Root Explorer
NCC-1701
thanks for the tip, but I wouldn't like space odyssey on my phone
I happened to find a track I like for the hubble boot, thanks to a recent nasa article. you can rip the audio from the video online (google it)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFT7ATLQQx8
now I just have to pick a part of the track I like and rip that out...
