I was just wodering what's the quickest esiest way to uninstall a theme!?

1) Reflash your original unthemed ROM
or
2) Restore from the nandroid backup you shoulda made first.
or
3) Before you flash your theme check which frameworks/apps the theme overwrites. Create your own custom flashable that replaces all these components back with your originals and reflash that.
Good luck.

odex : No
deodexed: Yes
=]
Big Boron, Man you are always there to help. Thanks
Can I make it deodexed in anyway other than flashing another ROM?
Yes you can. UOT kitchen will theme some aspects of odexed ROMs. You need to pull the framework-res, systemui, and twframework and upload them to UOT kitchen and make you changes like battery and icons.

indeed, all stock runs need no data wiping just cache

I suggest wiping /system when going from odexed to deodexed to avoid possible conflicts. If the OS sees a .odex version of a system apk, it will use that code instead of the newer deodexed one.
Or the deodexed rom install script needs to delete the *.odex files in /system/app.

Hello
The calendar.apk from Blackjelly Rom is simply the best calendar app i've used. Now i tried to use titanium backup and try to restore it. but it won't stick with other roms. Do i have to use someother app to pull it ?

Thank you,
Now I unistalled my old calendar apk with titanium backup, and after pasting it to my system/app folder. the installation fails and says app not installed.
Do i need to do something else ?
You need to place it in systems/app folder then change permissions to rw-r-r
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
You need to delete the apk then reboot then install new apk.

Thank you for all the replys. I think its not working maybe because im on AOSP rom and that app is from stock based rom ? >__<;;
I rebooted and tried reinstalling it and wont work, also checked the file and it was set at rw--r--r.
blaH its ok i might have to learn to customize a calendar app cause that calendar is so sexy
You didn't say you were on aosp, you can't use a touchwiz app on aosp.

Hello
I'm very new to roofing but so far I have Rooted, applied custom Rom and a Jedi theme installed. My question is if I wanted to 'uninstall' the theme I just applied, how would 2 go about doing that?
Thanks in advance!

Is it like a theme from the playstore? If so then you would just uninstall it like any other application Settings<Apps.

+1 what he said. Re flashing the rom would over write the theme. Just wipe cache and dalvic.

No its a updater script the will remove the system/app and system/framework and replace them with a deodex version so they could tweaked. I used titanium back to make a backup of all the apks. then freeze and or moved any apps I dont need or use

I froze a lot of mine using TB and haven't had any issues. I'll probably uninstall it all soon.
