Im using liquid metal and i can't get the droid x keyboard to work, I saw my friend running fresh and using the keyboard, does it not work on some roms? Do they have to be sense based? I love this keyboard, it works on sprint lovers too. Help?

The Droid X keyboard is by far the best I've ever used IMO. The Gingerbread keyboard sucks..Nobody has ported this?
I feel the same way, it would be awesome if someone could get this working on CM7.
agreed. the gingerbread keyboard keeps on repeating letters.
Are you talking about this keyboard? I'm using it right now. It's from the droid x forum.

I'm on ava-froy z3 right now and it has the stock camera. I have had a ported sense 2.0 rom and liked the camera, the rom just didn't completely work well for me. Is there anyway to get the apk from one of the ported sense 2.0 Roms to work, if its at all possible?

What is the best Sense 2.x (preferably 2.1) with working Netflix? This isn't nessicarily important too add, but also preferably without battery percentage on status bar.

Yes, but Skyraider is sense 1.0 with tweaks, and running on Froyo.
I *think* it works on synergy, it came with the netflix app with the Rom. But I deleted it because I don't use netflix.
Edit: it does work on Synergy, its in the OP. It's an awesome Rom with a 2.1 base and some 3.0 features.

Pure Speed
Pure stock Sense 2.1. A new release is in the works too.
And JoelZ is working on a Droid Incredible 2 port from the leaked ROM for it as well.
I have seen the topic in the thundebolt forums and was wondering if we could get this working on our inc2 sense 3.0 roms I tried to flash one but no success running miks 1.3 build

No replies so I did a little more reading and it needs the stock skin to show up so I changed to that skin and boom it works anyone who would like to use just look in thunderbolt themes and flash the zip in cwm. Pretty cool change

I have switched between Sense and AOSP countless times and the thing I noticed was that the keyboard on Sense is slower.
On AOSP it responds immediatly, I even notice it now on AOKP.
Now my question, how would I get the AOSP keyboard on Android Revolution 7.2.1? I have already tried extracting the AOSP keyboard from an AOSP rom and putting it in system/apps but it wouldn't open, just force close, any ideas?
Thanks!

Put the .apk file in ROM zip/system/app, reboot in recovery, reflash the ROM without wiping. Reboot and done.

I have tried that too, but when I changed the keyboard to the Google AOSP one, it just force closed and wouldn't open any keyboard.
Anyone know which one will work on Android Revolution?
You can also download them from the market.

Why not try Go Keyboard, I have been using it when I was on sense roms and it was fast, and has many add-on languages.
Hi,
I hate the stock sense keyboard, and as I've been running ARHD for a while, I just got a third party keyboard from the market...
For info, this one works well: https://play.google.com/store/apps/....android.inputmethod.latin.ice_cream_sandwich
