Is there any word about a case containing a kickstand being made for the SGS2? I think this would be an ingenious idea that would definitely add to the multimedia aspect of the SGS2
no word on cases aside from a few leather pouches and InvisibleShield.
I think the companies will wait since there were a few variations of the old Galaxy S (Captivate / Fascinate / Vibrant / and the official i9000)

No, but it is the best way to locate the phone in the disaster lab. In a enviroment with all dark colors, a pink case its the best idea to see where your phone is it in seconds.

bought that one too, but i wonder how flimsy the stand will get..
it might turn out that it will be a hassle to get it in and out of the pockets of my jeans, but just in-case i have bought a couple cases without the kickstand
the beauty of this phone is that its so thin that putting a case on it makes it as thick as a normal "thin" phone

Welcome! The edges are more sturdy than the t-mobile case is, but the center is still flimsy.
It is also not nearly as sticky as the t-mobile case, which is a GOOD thing to me. It still has a grip to it, but it isn't so difficult to stick in my pocket (or pull back out)

I was worried that it would be a loose fit but it fits very snugly on to the phone. You have to try very hard to pry it off, which is good!
It's more plastic like than it is a gel like material but it feels very nice in your hands. The feel of it will get smoother after a few days of use once all the oils from my skin get onto it.
I ordered it on 7/19 and received it today on 7/26 and paid $2.98 for everything!
Just buy it in TMO + the screen protector. Pfft. I spent 600 on the phone. another 40 bucks for a case + screen protector. is nothng.

And I don't know exactly this bumper is compatible with foreign version. But it says in the seller introduction the hole for external speaker is not perfectly matched with external speaker due to compatibility for foreign version.

I was looking for a bumper like that. Where can I buyt it? I saw that link up my before my post but I cant understand it =_=.
As a matter of fact, it is difficult to buy it to foreigner.
The cheap eBay Bumper case I posted about on another board arrived today and it looks quite good until you pick it up and notice how thin and light it is which kind of goes hand in hand with it's massively small £3 price. It does the job fine on a S2 with the stock battery though but with extended battery the lip surrounding the front bezel is less pronounced.
It is not great with the Zenis dock either as it doesn't sit flush whereas the Zenis one does. I was expecting it to fit fine but the bottom is not sitting nicely like the Walnutt bumper does.
So far I think the Walnutt case looks the best and also feels like it's worth some ££ too. I especially like the lip bearing the Walnutt brand name on the back, it kind of completes an otherwise baron backside, something that the SGP NeoHybrid EX bumper lacks although I'm sure the SGP feels every bit as good and expensive as the Walnutt ones.
Considering the Walnutt bumper is thicker than the cheap eBay one I was surprised it was exactly the same thickness when put on the phone, I put it on my dad's S2 with stock battery to compare in the pics below.

That one's just like mine.
I'm rather satisfied with it.
For sure no fancy and high quality materials... but... it has all the features that a good cover for the SGN10.1 must have:
no magnets
one opening specifically designed for the S-Pen extraction
the other three corners protected in case of dropping
opening to charge the GNote10.1 even with the case closed
other ports accessible (but for the IR port and the MicroSD slot when the case is closed)
no front stripes near the front camera and luminosity sensor that can cast shadows on them
the front cover is hinged on the lower side so that you can use the back camera without having to fumble to manually keep the cover raised
loudspeakers free
I use it at school (where I often have chalk on my hands) and it's good enough for that.
In case I wanted to get a better and classy and elegant one, with HQ materials, I'd take this one: apart from the materials used the design is (more or less) the same

I've got that case too. Pleasantly surprised by it really. It is a nice fit, nothing is covered that shouldnt be. Seems quite stable when up in stand mode.

I got the Mako one and I'm not happy with it, but don't hate it. I think this one looks a lot nicer. How is it working out for you?
The mako one for instance has a grip that covers the slot for the s-pen. It's very annoying.
Anybody purchased a plain ole thin, lightweight tpu case for their Note? Recommendations? I see one for sale on ebay, but it's only shipping from China right now.
I plan on using my Note in a Ram Mount in my car, so I don't want a flip cover, or anything too heavy. It needs to be grippy/sticky so it will stay put in the Ram mount too.
Update: I found this one on ebay today and bought it. Will let you know how it is.

For us Canadians, Amazon Canada has the same case linked by jkwjkw, but with free shipping instead of the $11 shipping with eBay (for me at least, in Ontario). Shipped and sold by theWireless USA, who I've bought from before several times and had no troubles.

Seriously, love me some TPU cases. Especially for a tablet like the note, where I have to lay it flat on a table to write on, I have to tape the camera lens so it doesn't get scratched. I have a folio cover case as well, but I find it lifts the tablet too far off the table if I try to lay it flat. Looks like this TPU case is the answer.
Got my case today, and love it. Perfect fit, all of the holes line up, case is snug, and it's lightweight. Recommended!
