i have a qtek 9090 and bought a sony ericsson HBH-610a. Unfortunately, i cant use it, as the services are not recognized. I would much appreciate your help.

PDA2K with HBH-610a
I've got the same problem trying to connect the Sony Ericsson HBH-610a with my PDA2K.
I can detect the headset without problems, and pair them (the light on the headset switches to green), however when trying to add it in the BT Manager the PDA says it cannot detect any services from the headset . I get the same message when using the option to detect services on generic BT devices (bottom of BT manager).
I can detect services on Nokia phones with the PDA2K, and use the HBH-610a with Nokia phones, so I guess it must either be a setting in the PDA2K or problems with the BT connection itself.
Anyone can help? I managed to get a good price on the headset and wouldn't want ot have to change it. It's listed as compatible on the internet vendor's site (and several others) but not by i-Mate, nor by Sony Ericsson.

i'm trying to pair my Sony ericsson HBH-GV435 BlueTooth headset with my alpine
i'm sure the headset is on paring mode
i added the bluetooth headset in my paired devices without any problems
but when i try to add it as a hands-free/headset setup it tries to connect to the headset and then it says "service discovery was unsuccessful"
i have Jabra BT620s and i'm using it as a hands-free headset and a stereo headset without any problems
but when it comes to the sony ericsson HBH-GV435 it doesn't work :S

UPDATE : in the connection wizard i choosed (Explore a bluetooth device to discover the services this headset offers , after choosing the headset it says (retrieving services ...) after that it says that this device does NOT offer any usable services.
keef on mind that i updated my bluetooth stack to make it A2DP enabled and gives also the ability to connect bluetooth keyboard.
i don't really know whats the problem between this headset and the Alpine Bluetooth Stack :S

I've problem with all ICS Roms for SE ARC. Bluetooth is working, find the bluetooth device but can't pair with it!!! It looks like trying to pair but nothing happened & no serial number for pairing appeared!! Ithappened with several bluetooth devices.
With 2.3.7 roms it works perfectly!
Any help?

With some devices, pair regularly but with my car nothing to do!

I've used several ics kernels too (the official one, the doomkernel) nothing works!

Im using Arconium ICS V4 and can pair with anything, my cars gps, other phones of all brands, nt having an issue with this Rom at all. Using it as my everyday Rom and still loving it, cant wait for V5

I have the same, tried Doomkernel, ICS stock and various Rom's (stock, arconium) but all have the same. The pairing with my bluetooth headset works fine but when I try to pair with the car audio (random PIN) the PIN pop-up never shows. With another car with a fixed PIN it works flawless again.
Got the same problem, doesn't pair with my car bluetooth after installing ics arconium on my arc s. With 2.3 this worked flawless.

I found a solution for my car bluetooth.
I renamed my car to 1 word (Don't know if it necessary) and I changed my code to 0000. After that my phone connected without asking for a password.
Have Problems with CM9.0 for Arc. My Sony Ericsson MW600 connects but Audio still works over Phone Speakers.
But with Stock Sony ICS Beta Rom it works fine.

I've got the same problem, using a Blue&Me system from Alfa Romeo/Fiat.
It generates a random pin and the device is called "blue&me". Won't pair, doesn't even prompt me for a pin code.
Can't rename the car or specify a pincode there.

Some time ago I started using a bluetooth headset (Motorola S305) on my Xperia PLAY and when someone calls me I can answer from the headset but I don't know who's calling unless I take the phone out of my pocket to see who is, does exist an app that tells you who's calling while using the headset?
On second place I remember on my old Nokia5130 that when I connected it to my computer the PC Suite program would show me who's calling as a notification on my laptop desktop, does exist any similar program that can do the same?
Not really sure about the headset, but you could buy a bluetooth watch.
