Has anyone had any luck getting the Epic to bluetooth tether? Wireless Tether's bluetooth DUN didn't work, neither did PDAnet. Native bluetooth support (no apps or anything) for this seems to be hidden, or not there.

Anyone gotten wireless tether to work over bluetooth? My computer never recognizes it as being a PAN capable device. How can I manually tell windows 7 to connect as PAN to it when Im running tether?
HTC used a somewhat non-standard Bluetooth stack on the Evo. I don't think it supports Bluetooth PAN. You'd probably have better luck under CyanogenMod 6 if you can put up with some of its other missing features or going with wifi tethering.
I just have issues with WiFi tendering too. It seems to disconnect every few minutes. Was hoping Bluetooth would work. Poo. May have to end up paying for pdanet instead (i need access to https sites).

I have a TP2 with 6.1. I'm trying to connect with a Archos 101 (Froyo) in bluetooth tether. The devices pair but does not tether.
It has made a DUN profile and I put the same APN of the cell.
Strangely it doesn't let me make a PAN connection but i know other guys used it.
I tried also WMWIfirouter trial but it has the bluetooth option disabled...
The device tethers well on usb port connected to xp.
So what can i do to successfully tether the archos with bluetooth?
I've searched, but just wanted to double check.
Is it possible to enable bluetooth PAN on FroYo? I'm running Bonsai's 4.0 ROM but the bluetooth PAN box under wireless tether isn't a selectable option.
I'm trying to tether my phone to my motorola Xoom WiFi.
Looking for any help!

I can get the wired usb tether to work fine but it seems to be slower. Using FoxFi but it seems to mess with my phone. I have NEVER gotten wifi tether to work, irregardless of my phone version or rom, so I was wondering what people have installed on both phone and comp that allows it to work. My wireless card enables ad-hoc so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I just want a simple wifi tether, not a hotspot because i don't want others to use it, that's what FoxFi is for when I have guests. I just want to get wifi tether to work to see if it works how I'm hoping it does. Any help is appreciated
Does your computer support Bluetooth? BLuetooth tethering sounds like it more like what you are looking for. I've honestly never heard of a "WiFi" tether outside of the hotspot usage.
Is only me or T-Mobile remove the Bluetooth Thetering option... Any body know an alternative app for Bluetooth tethering compatible with the G3??
