Has anyone purchased this launcher and got it to run on their Adam? I'm running StephenH's Tweaked ROM and tried to load this launcher but it FCs when it's trying to initialize/load. If you haven't seen the new SPB Shell 3D you should check-out this YouTube video - amazing work and it could really help spruce-up the Adam until Honeycomb arrives!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVU84J1ShSQ&feature=player_embedded[/youtube <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVU84J1ShSQ&feature=player_embedded%5b/youtube>
I tried a version i came across that didn't required paying. :s
And it did run on my adam, but only in portrait mode, i couldn't find the settings to change this. If it would work in landscape, it would be a nice launcher

I read that yesterday (March 31st) they released an update to fix the landscape mode bug. If you don't mind me asking, what ROM are you running? Like I said, I'm running StephenH's Tweaked ROM and the SPB 3D Launcher just FC'd all-over-the-place with that ROM.
Thanks!
Chris R.
I'm currently using the edenX latest rom.
I must warn you that if you are getting the apk from an source that isn't the original one it will not work unless you are in airplane mode. (it checks the activity status trough the net )
Thanks!
No, I saw a lot of links to Russian sites from people that were looking for a hacked free version, but IMHO this app is well worth the $15 so I purchased it for my Adam. Of course Google gives you all of 15 minutes to decide if you want a refund so I was a little pressed to figure out what was making it FC. I gave up on the Adam and just bought a copy for My Sprint Epic 4G and it runs great on that platform.. If I could get this to work on the Adam I'd be much much happier with my Adam purchase since all I have now is pretty much an overgrown cell phone minus the phone!
Thanks again,
Chris R.

I'm curious: do you have the market version or a hacked version of SPB Shell 3D? I would buy the market version but I'm told it doesn't work and I've tried bootlegged versions with stock, EdenX and Beast with no luck.

Crap, I cant remember what I ran that did landscape sense. It looked weird tho... Easiest thing is run Launcher Pro... It has most sense style widgets built in to the paid version...
There are new Sense UI versions that do run landscape. The Desire Z for example. However , landscape Sense is not happening due to, from what I've heard, not detecting the keyboard being slid out.
I have been searching for an app that will either force landscape or tell the system the keyboard is out. No luck with anything working yet.

My goal with this ROM is to achieve that stock gingerbread look and feel. I'm one of those people that just prefers a fresh stock feel and I'm hoping quite a few of you guys are.
Much love to the guys at Cyanogenmod and everyone that helps them, please donate to them and continue to support all of their hard work.
This ROM is as close to what you get when you pick up a Nexus S as I can get it for now.
This ROM features:
Gingerbread Stock Launcher
Nexus S live wallpaper
All Nexus S/Gingerbread Ringtones & Notifications
CRT Monitor animation for display sleep
Whats not working:
Microbes Live Wallpaper (I've got the wallpaper loading, but freezing after a few times locking the phone)
Trackball Wake/Unlock (Will work on making this standard tomorrow, should be an easy fix)
BUGS:
Wifi needs Fix Permissions & reboot on most devices.
Please note you must use Clockwork Recovery 3.0 or higher
V0.7
Changes phone model from Gingerbread to MyTouch 4G
Speed Increase
Phone will no longer default to "Silent" ringtone upon first boot.
Fixed USB bug when connecting to computer USB connection would crash.
V0.6
Update includes stock apps that were left out of V0.5 due to me rushing to complete.

Thank you for putting this together! I'm downloading it right now! How did you make this one? Is it just a modded CM7 or Nexus S build, or is this a real AOSP build of Gingerbread?
That's what I've been lookin for is a complete AOSP build of GingerBread for the MT4G.
What Version clockwork do we need?

I didn't change the GAPS, are you still able to go manually change the wallpaper to Nexus S live? I'm still working on getting the microbes wallpaper fixed I have it running but then freezing after a few times locking the screen. ok - not to be a **** or anything but this begs the question:
Why do you WANT blur on your phone? Everyone i know with a blurred motorola phone struggles to make it blurless and wants to remove that crap as much as possible - it is a serious detriment to performance and battery life.

Because this version of blur is different from the others and better, and well because we on the g2 forums deserve variety, other than the 3 classic roms, sense,cm7 or miui. And no i dont think this rom will drain that much battery or affect performance, our gpu's beats the crap out of the omap that the droids have.
Also found that when calling someone it will restart the phone and it will keep you on the call till the os finishes reloading.

i'm guessing this is based on the Droid X GB leak - the blur is different than the blur on 2.2? My girlfriend was running stock 2.2 on the DX and getitng like 12 hrs of battery life. Then running Liberty 2.1 (blurless 2.2 based) she was getting 24 hours +. I flashed her over to the Liberty GB alphas (has a lot of blur in it) and have yet to see how the batt life is.
What i do know is that if you look @ running services (on the DX Liberty GB) and use an app like autostarts to see the on startup apps - blur has a whole ton of blur stuff that runs in the background from startup on - unrelated to ui changes and widgets.
What i fail to understand is not manufacturer ui (which differentiates) but why it has to be baked in so deep into the OS and kernel that it makes it impossible to remove if - god forbid - you want a more stock experience.
I have a lot of respect for any dev who brings more variety and software choice for our phones and i dont mean to undermine his work. I guess i just get pissed that companies like motorola make it so hard to go stock (particularly mess with that damned bootloader) that they would rather u ruin your device (i soft bricked my gf's droid x once and the only way to get back to stock is a complete SBF flash - a rare turn of events that i've never had the displeasure of running into on an HTC phone).
On a related note to this ROM, i noticed on Liberty GB (but not on Liberty 2.x) you can remove stuff from the notification area because there is a minus button (ie you dont have to clear all notifications or click on the notification itself to clear it - there is a button that enables its removal). Is this part of blur? I'd love to see this ported to AOSP.
Hi everyone!
Is someone of you coming from the SGS1?? Do you remember AudioBoost 2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=758326)?
Some of you already asked me something about this...
Well, I got myself an SGS2 yesterday, because my phone-contract was off...so I playing with it a bit today and I got some news: AudioBoost is coming for the SGS2!!
Now it's in early-beta stage...but if there are volunteers to try it out before it's finished let me know! I need devices with different roms and especially a rooted stock-one if possible to test compatibility...then it will be ready!
I'm on Lite'ning ROM v6.1 XXKH3 myself, so that's not needed, thanks!
EDIT:
Confirmed WORKING on:
- Stock (rooted) samsung firmware
- Lite'ning ROM
- Criskelo ROM
- MIUI ROM
- Sensation ROM
- Cognition ROM
- Batista70 ROM
...I think it's enough to assume it will work on any custom rom/rooted firmware with gingerbread 2.3.x! The app is now on the market...

Hmm...let me lol a little about that!
Yes, I tried volume+ but I must say I didn't notice too much of a difference...
With AudioBoost SGS2 (now perfectly working on my phone) the bump is an astounding 19% and it's GLOBAL...what this means is it works on speaker, headphones, everything without the need for separate controls...
What is more interesting is, given the speed of our new baby (SGS2), there is NO lag at all (of course it still needs the refresh function....)
Anyway, to ALL of you who answered, please do so at my email address: [email protected] with the email subject "[AudioBoostSGS2] <your rom/firmware version>", that way it's much better...I'll also send pms to those of you who answered now...
Hi, I'm running Batista70 with firmware KH3, I really like to test it out your app because of the overall low audio output of this device.
Good work and good luck.

Of course there is! As per Google's policy, once you purchase, you won't be for 15 minutes and you can have it refunded! It's plenty of time to try if it works...
(And that's for EVERY app out there...)
Does it work with you?
I could open it, download game data but then it closes (no force close) every time I click on the app icon. Downloaded Chainfire 3D, installed it, but no luck.
I9000 + MIUI
Works for me pretty smoothly.
I really want to download this game but i want to know if the i9000 can handle it first =/.
If it doesn't work go into market and hit refund. I believe it gives you a full refund if you uninstall within 15 minutes of downloading.
Sent from my MB855 using XDA App
Yeah thats true but the problem with big games like this is that if you have trouble downloading the additional files the 15 minute window can soon disapear.
They should have left the refund time at 1 hour. 15 minutes just isnt enough half of the time.
Of course it will run smoothly on Galaxy S... It's 1 thread optimized game and actually does not require dual core device.
pls post your kernel, rom or other requirments what we need to play.
thanks.
