Ah... darn. For future reference, what is the /data/data folder for gallery3d? I'll need to delete its settings to try anything... But I can't see it standing out, just wondered if you knew?

The problem is not in the apk its in the 3d drivers.
I'm not sure if this is the right thread to ask in, but here it goes.
Does anyone have a problem with slow loading picture thumbs in the 3d gallery?
Some times the thumbs never even load at all. And every time I start the 3d gallery app the thumbs start to load from scratch... slooooowly. So the gallery is almost unusable for browsing photos.

In any case, in the latest 5.1 Villain ROM the gallery works perfectly. You could ask to the developer how to do it....
Using the fixed app will not fix it across every ROM, as you've discovered.
It's a pain in the arse, and to tell you the truth, I tried that many things to fix it that I'm not even 100% sure which fixed it.
It's really not worth it... HTC's official ROM will use 'Photos' anyway... as the Desire/Legend official roms do.
The rotation bug is not in the app itself but the 3d drivers in the phone. It is currently fixed in 5.1 and sure it will remain that way in 5.2
I am currently using 5.1 and I don't have the rotation bug. Just my photos load very very slowly and some of them don't load up at all.
I can help you fix this, just PM me the details and the rom you're using.
Did anyone here have any success in finding a gallery apk that works without the rotation bug in legend roms like legendary and legendroid?
I love the Gallery but I also love the legend hero ports because of the extra widgets and enhanced browser you get. Would be fantastic to have the best of both worlds...

Ever since i've updated my Instagram, it won't let me upload any pictures at all and either gets my phone stuck or crashes every time. Want to know if any other P930 CM9 users are facing this issue or if there is any other fix around it?
Same here. Using the app for just browsing other photos seems to work but whenever I try to upload; it begins to stall and eventually crash. I tried cheating it by not using the filters and immediately uploading it but then it either crashes or takes forever to process and the photo ends up black or this strange black/matrix-y look.
I love the this RC, it's blazing fast compared to my stock gingerbread. With little to no problems since I've been testing it. Anyone know a work-around? Keep it up and thanks for the hard work.
p.s I'm using the P930 At&t Nitro HD.
That's exactly the same issue I have. From what I've read it might be an OpenGL issue... but I'm not going to pretend like I know what that means. Besides that, this RC is running so smoothly. Its awesome. Guess we'll just have to wait.

Neither the ICS leak nor CM9 will run the editing pane of Instagram. I've e-mailed the App developers, they said they will not touch an unofficial build. I've been through multiple updates for Instagram, none worked any better.
For what it's worth, it works in CM10 build 07/26 for me. Maybe you guys would like to update

I actually might try that, do you have any major problems using CM10? My only problems with CM9 is instagram and random speaker volume changes. (which can be deal breakers)
Well there are still some bugs in CM10 and a bunch of features haven't been forward-ported yet, but it's definitely coming along nicely. One bigger bug it has right now is video seems to intakill the OS and reboot after a few seconds.
Well, that was fast lol. Ricardo just put an update out that should fix video crashing. Man, that guy is awesome.
instagram doesn't work anymore with the latest nightly released 24-08-12.
I realize it's still in beta but is everyone experiencing this with this game ?
Anyone install chainfire 3d drivers succesfully on their rooted stock rom and does that fix this problem or are we just wating for the developers to patch and update the game on the market ?

Anyone, anyone at all !!!!! Someone clarify if you are getting the same issue with this game on this phone. Other than that this phone is amazing. Best out right now IMO and who cares about the note 2 that's like having a boat in your pocket.

I tried downloading this game and got the same thing. Loading screen the it just exits.
Same deal for me man. I even tried doing the aspect ratio fix built into the phone, still no good.

YES AT LAST! Orange/EE (UK) have finally released their Jelly Bean update :highfive:. But I've had nothing but problems with it!
After the updated I kept getting a process.media crash. Fixed by doing a clean install.
However the issue I have now, is my Gallery is unusable. It's so so so slow. It was trying to get all my facebook pics, however I stopped that in sync, but now it just takes forever to load the albums. Does anyone know of possible fixes for this? I haven't seen anyone else with this problem...

Hoping y'all could help me with this issue. So far, i have searched and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2302804 "Fix"
Now, i haven't tried it yet as there were more negative opinions regarding the supposed FIX. Anyways, here's the issue... I have just recently flashed my S4 with a Wicked v9.1 JB 4.3 version custom ROM and while messing with the new features and such. I encountered this "Camera Failed" message while trying to shoot a SlowMo video. It would sometimes even reboot my phone due to this. I can't seem to get the SlowMo feature to work but the Fast feature works just fine. I came to post here since i'm a new registered member and not allowed to post a reply on the Wicked thread yet. I hope there's a fix to this..Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
