Well I can't figure it out. I just don't want all that history on there. Y won't it turn off.
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App

I don't know how to disable that feature but as a last resort you could delete the history periodically by pressing the menu button (when you are in the History screen) and choosing "Clear History"

That's what im doing now. I tried a few alps that say they clear/delete everything with 1 button. No luck. Silly. Thanks for the imput

Launcher default issues

This started happening to me out of no where. Can anyone think of a solution or the cause of this issue ?
Everytime I hit the home key it will ask me to choose a default launcher. After I do, it will ask me again every time I hit my home key.
Im choosing Touchwiz, the other option is Go home since it comes with my rom.
I'm running Calkulins 2.9.2 rom.
I have uninstalled apps related to Widgets and launchers, cleared defaults etc..
How could I uninstall the go home app completely? Maybe that will do it.
Thanks in advance everyone !

First, you are checking the default checkbox before you select the launcher after pressing home right?
Yes. lol
I could only wish it was that simple.
Its not really a big deal but after a while its annoying having to push an additional button.

Cant answer call

The other day I got a phone call and the phone would not wake, I could not doing anything. It just rang, it would not let me answer. The screen remained off the entire time. I hit the power button and screen remained off. I think it eventually restarted the phone. Im stock rom and rooted. Any ideas why this happened?

In app manager you have to scroll over to "All" which will have the phone app listed.

[Q] Stock camera crashes when I try to enable "take photos using voice"

Here's what I'm doing:
1. Open camera
2. Tap gear for settings
3. Scroll down to "Take photos using voice"
4. When I try to tap "on", the camera freezes right there (can't back out with arrow, can't do anything), then it crashes.
Anyone else experienced this? All the other settings work fine in there, just that one's screwed up. Which is, of course... annoying!
Thanks for anyone's advice.
Di you have it enabled in s voice already?

Gmail 'delete from curtain' broken?

It was working before the md4 update. I could delete from the pull down curtain. Now all I get is the notification without the delete /reply options. I have tried all different settings without success. I even uninstalled gmail, deleted data and cashe, reinstalled. No dice. I really liked to be able to delete without going to the app....

Any one?
if there are any other notifications in the pulldown (including one's that can't be swiped away) the option doesn't show up... I stopped using ds battery saver for this reason

Hmmmm. The only other thing there is the green lookout icon. I'll try removing that and see if it changes.

You were right!
I went to lookout settings and turned off the icon. Now all works again.... I Never would have thought it was from lookout. I even sent them an email to alert them of that. They sent a reply in 5mins. Said it shouldn't do that....
Thanks again for helping!

It's not lookout, it's gmail, if there is already any kind of notification on there it doesn't give the expanded delete reply option...:thumbup::thumbup:

The lookout support guy said he has the icon and gmail works properly for him.... maybe someday there will be a solution. For now icon goes away....

Again, it's not a lookout problem, is a gmail problem.. nothing lookout can do to fix this, it would have to be coded into the gmail app to allow it to display these options when there is other notifications

I think the gmail notification has two modes: minimized and full (with buttons).
The notification only shows the buttons when it's the "top" notification. Apps like lookout have persistent notifications, so the gmail notification is never top dog and therefore doesn't go into "full" mode.
I know in 4.2.2, the method I described allows you to expand minimized notifications. I do a medium-length press and hold, then drag the notification down to expand it. I'll try to capture a video of what I mean (never captured video on my phone before).
