I'm starting this thread to inform people that I will be burying my excalibur this evening , If there is interest in observing this ceremony, please post on this thread and I will webcast it.
Ok well... nevermind about the burial. Come to find out, my excalibur is really a zombie (though it claims to be merely a vampire).

I really don't understand... It says "Senior Member" in your nick, and you still don't now how to use search button... Nice...
I don't think he really "applied" for that title. It's given to members automatically as soon as they have posted 200 times if I remember correctly. Or should we all put "Newbie" in our signatures as I did to clarify that we don't feel that senior yet?

Personally i Would thx you both because I never take a look on "artemis upgrade" part of forum but just on "Artemis mobile 6" because this is the most active part of artemis section so if he didn't post here I'll perhaps see it but in a few moments when all the people had change it in their signature.

Y_bother, elegantly corrected his post, but i think your post is totally useless.

I tell u that radio 3.34.90 works with wm5 also.

Is there a way to ignore users permantley from my thread display? People that just say 'thanks!' or 'wow this is awesum!!', 'donation sent!'. Trying to bring up the S/N ratio would be useful.
Anyway to do this yet?
I think the Signal to Noise ratio is fine most of the time, and as a new member of the forum I'm sure you will soon find that the posts with low signal are usually in response to a thread with low substance.

just wanted to request an official Motorola Defy section here at xda-developers.
I think the section is urgently needed since the Defy sells quite good (good price!) and people are interessted in modifying it.
But they don't have a discussion platform so that it gets hard to work with the phone.
If there'll be no Defy section, I think, there'll be many threads regarding the Motorola Defy spread all over xda...not a good imagination.
I would like to see the section soon

The OP of the New Forums on XDA thread ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=616206 ) where I posted the other threads talking about the DEFY. At least that is my understanding.
Hopefully it will be noticed in that thread now that some others are adding their votes over there and a PM won't be necessary, but time will tell.

Like I said, svetius already told me that we'll have a Defy category early next week
getting mine delivered tomorrow, this is an awesome device and very understated imo. At £115 for the phone and £10 per month (100 mins/100text/free booster/unlimited internet) on a 2 year contract direct from t mobile here in the UK, thats a total contract price of £355 - the phone itself retails at between £300-£330, its also a bloody bargain. And the because its bought directly from t-mobile you get the proper mobile internet plus package that gives you 3GB allowance and access to higher download speed (as opposed to 1gb if you purchased from somewhere else)
looking forward to getting it rooted and doing a bit of modding whoop!

Cheers been through all 11 pages of that thread and can't find a customisation version that is even close to the one above.
Bit puzzled as according to that thread the customisation version should be United Kingdom Orange Branded 1247-1689.
Anyone shed any light on this one ?
Can anyone explain why this starts 125 when all others start 124 ?

Aren't you being a bit too harsh? If people do know the answer, they will definitely help you out. XDA is full of helpful members. We help each other out. But not everyone might know the answer to your question. Just wait a bit, I'm sure that there's someone out there who might know. Patience buddy, patience!

I'm sorry but my comment is on the effectiveness of hiding questions in this sub forum not about the helpfulness of XDA members.
I have no doubt that one or more of the highly knowledgeable XDA members know the answer to this simple query. The trouble is that I have complied with the 'rules' and posted it in a sub forum that hardly anyone looks at. Take a look at the number of views on topics posted this afternoon in the General forum and you will see what I mean.
I am patient but when you ask a question in an empty room it is unlikely you will get a reply.
