Hello,
I'm new to this forum, I'm using Galaxy S plus i9001 Indian version.
I wanted to know is there any way to install theme like GingerWay_BlueOcean, I don't want to lost my all data.
please advice.
Thanks
Hii if u want to installe new theme u must have a custom ROM because there is no theme for stock ROM...!
i9000 and i9001 both have huge difference so don't think to flash i9000 theme on your stock ROM.
before flashing new rom u must backup 1st your current ROM..

Another one is Darth Stalker

Can someone post if it works good cuz I am looking for a new rom right now which is stable and smooth..
Thanks!
If you try it you know and if it doesn't work you can always reflash your current firmware ... just make sure to make a backup

Both ROMs are available in our development section.

Because after you flash that rom you need to immediately flash a kernel for your device 9505...

You should backup stock rom but not necessary. If flashing cm7 passed then no need to backup anything from previous/stock rom (if you came from it)

Which device using ported from?
I ported an old version of this Rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal.../kkmiui7-i9200-i9205-i9208-aabyebaby-t3363061
And it was fine
U need cm11 kernel (not boot.img)and snd_soc_msm_2c file . That's it. It should boot without any problems.

If u gonna port mega miui v7 rom using first flash Rom then flash kernel then flash snd folder of any stock or cm rom it's in etc folder
If u don't have anykernel zip of cm11 or skimkat
U should extract miui v7 boot.img and replace images of miui with cm11 zimage and pack it (u know this)

Thankyou for the info. I have tryed like you exactly said but no luck still stuck at boot logo :crying: I have also tryed and used CM11 as base but that would also not work. Any ideas, is it the updater script or boot.image thats is causing this
