How do I add fonts to system.sqsh ?

Hey all,
I put the 02.02.10 build on my sdcard, and it booted perfectly. I still had a problem reading SMS in my native language because there is no out-of-the-box support for my language.
On many threads that I found, people said they added few fonts to system.sqsh, I tried to use it as everyone explained( with squashfs-tools 3.1 because version 4 doesn't work with android ), but I'm stuck on the second boot screen( the nexus splash screen), it loops forever( gave it 25 minutes before I tried a second attempt).
I backed up the old system.sqsh so I can have a working android, but I need to find a way to add these fonts.

Original stock ROM GingerBread version - European languages

Hi all,
I found here only English/American original stock ROM for Desire Z. It's for my wife but after installing PC10IMG.zip downloaded from this forum it offers only languages (English-Japan, English-China, English-Vietnam, English-Thailand and so on....), but I'm looking for original stock ROM with European languages (Deutsch, Slovak, Czech, Denmark, Poland....) . Can you please transfer me somewhere where I can find/dwnld this original Euro-stock ROM?
Background - I rooted, unlocked bootloader, and added to that phone some buggy GingerBread version - phone restarted itself when it booted, I could see allways only main screen. I could only unlock screen and tap somewhere and it rebooted itself again and again. My wife really needs phone in OK status so I have to move everything back to original state. But I cannot find original "European" GingerBread or Froyo

How to remove stock apps from HTC Desire 606w(600)

Hello everybody,
Warning: The following paragraphs (may) contain grammar errors. Please make yourself a LOL if you find one. -- A just-passed-exam Englsih learner from China.
I want to remove all the crap wares integrated in the system(stock ROM) that is modified from Desire 600 for ChinaUnicom. That's also why my phone is called 606w.
I've searched some Chinese phone forums. It is said that the system kernel of 606w stock ROM is somehow protected and that these crap apps cannot be removed even if you are an root user. Some guy posted a tool for deleting them, as an recovery like windows PE stuff on PC. But I don't really want to install another recovery. Some other guy, interestingly, wrote "It's more efficient than deleting them by using adb" in the same thread.
So I want to know if it is possible to delete them under the kernel protection and how to do it. It's better if I don't need to unlock the bootloader.
Oh, by the way, another doubt: how to change my power on and off animation. The ChinaUnicom icon really sucks. Could someone upload the original Desire 600 version, either one in Chinese or English is appreciated!

By the way will 606w work on 600 ROM?
I also have 606w my main problem is that some of the applications crashes after I enable encryption!!!
E.g. Google Earth - crashes
Chrom (after update crashes, wthout update works)
Flash player (sama as Chrom, afyter update crashes, without update works).
etc.
Does any one know why the apps crash without any notification to the user?

What do you mean "enable encrytion"?
I just installed google service via GMS installer. Let google play handle the update stuff.

By "enable encrytion" I mean enabling the option Settings -> Storage -> Phone storage encryption.
Does any one has the same problem?

After fiddling with my 606w for a week, I'm going slightly mad. The boot animation of the stock rom is intrusive, and the chinese apps and settings are just plain annoying.
I've succesfully loaded spawns 600 images on my 606w, and on the custom roms, all of the chinese crap is gone. However, I now have no gps. I've use fastergps to set the ntp, used clocksync to set the clock. The device just doesn't see any sattelites.
I noticed a difference in the gps settings. On the stock 606w rom, the is an extra setting to enable disable agps, which is absent in the 600 roms. I guess that behind the scenes the 600 and 606 are a little more different than they appear.
If any of the xda gurus have any tips on getting gps to work, that would be greatly appreciated.

I just noticed that my GPS does not work on my htc desire 606W from Hong Kong... please any one has a solution? or anyone can send me a link for an International Official stock ROM or RUU for this htc desire 606w ?

Hello to all.
I'm new in this forum, even if I follow him for a long time.
Many of mods I made to my xperia play I found it right here.
I wanted to know if there is a way to get this feature on stock gingerbread rom.
I have seen this thread:

where the developer said it would have made a guide for this function on 'xperia arc. I wanted to follow the same procedure for the xperia play but scrolling the page I discovered that there isn't actually still a guide for this mod (the developer says it's too complicated).
What can you tell me about it?

Hi all!
I bought a china clone mobile phone.
It has body of s4 and camera of s5.
Specific device model is Step Fly (sf-) H900f , but google knows it as: Alps H900
Os Android 4.4.2, MTK6592, baseband: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V35.P6, build: ALPS.KK1.MP1.V2.11
Well, my questions are:
- have yet anyone rooted il?
- and installed a custom rom instead of default one?
- can anyone publish/send me some helping links?
I've base Rom in chinese; an english one, downloaded from it's site, for changing the chinese one, but no instructions on how load it; so I found many post on how modify it, but with chinese I'm a little bit unsufficient...
I hope You can help me.

Hey ive got the the same phone ive rooted it it took me a long time to figure it out but this is how
use root genius and root the phone after that open the playstore and download busybox install it
than open MTK DROID TOOLS and click on the ROOT button in down right corner.
