Hello to everyone,
i want to introduce my new ROM even more optimized and faster "Tiramisu EVO PLUS".
The rom is based on the new firmware XWJS8 released in March which seems to be the best firmware released by Samsung till now.
I decided to leave the theme stocks for greater speed and stability, provided, however, of 'Extended Menu' and 5-screen animation.
I also added many new tweaks and optimizations, some of which came from new darky's 9.5. (thanks Darky's)
You can install all the themes that are compatible with the firmware JS8
I do not exclude the possibility of bugs, which in my testing, I might not have noticed.
For any questions or to report bugs, and more, contact me, improve the rom all together .
Here are the Characteristics of my new rom:

What tips you give me to install the rom?
Click to collapse
First disable all lagfix
Making a wipe of the data cache, and Dalvik cache
Always start if possible from a stock firmware
Flash only ever with 100% battery
For flash s rom, no need to disable tweak (in kernel)
the QUADRANT SCORES DO NOT MEAN NOTHING

Hey lulu!
I really appreciate your hard work, this Tiramisu EVO 2.2 ROM is simply fantastic. It's so fast (with the SM lagfix I gained ~ 1500 points in Quadrant), and it locks the GPS-Satellites so quickly, and the 3G network as well. The quality of the sound during a phone call is also convincing, and the Crysis RevolutioN theme can hardly be described with words , 'cause it's really breathtaking.
But I've realised one thing that you should fix in the description. At the Settings / About Phone section I can see "speedmod-k13c-" as the version of the integrated kernel, instead of the "k13d", what you've written down in the description. Is the SM K13D integrated to your ROM in effect, or you have just made a mistake in the transcription?

Simone! Mi hai copiato anche stavolta?? Hai messo nella tua ROM l'applicazione per lo spegnimento dello schermo stile CRT?!?

have Chinese inside ?

GingerReal2 R1.1.9 Release notes
This build comes with some more ICS theming.
The nicest thing is the dialer from ICS.
The red marker is the video call button. I made a one pixel to aim.
Because 4 buttons breaks the nice dialer I made it this way.
Change between diffrent dpi's
Now GingerReal supports multi-dpi I made some simple scripts to switch between diffrent values.
The values that are supported by the rom are 240 - 220 - 200
Get terminal emulator from market and type the commands
For 240 dpi type
Code:
su
240dpi
For 220 dpi type
Code:
su
220dpi
For 200 dpi type
Code:
su
200dpi

Can you make one for the JVQ please?(we know that it will not work for the default browser, but we have Opera/Firefox). Looking for your response . Thank you very much .

If your not on a Samsung Gingerbread ROM, flash through ODIN a JVQ Stock ROM and a kernel with CWM Recovery (Like SpeedMod)
Copy AOSP_Essence_v1_by_lippol94.zip on you internal SD
Reboot in Recovery
Do a Wipe Data/Factory Reset
choose Select Zip from your sdcard
Choose my ROM file
Choose OK
Reboot
After First Boot

Just flash the file I attached with ODIN as PDA, no repartition.
then flash this ROM through CWM
Done.
For the moment I like it. Smooth and AOSP.
Two little things... Cause I speak French, the setting icon stay "setting" in French
And I've got a "&amp" in the Gingerbread Keyboard

Latest&Greatest Series presents:Seanster_GBaxe EX
Most of the ROM's out there are as stock as possible, and I'm probably the most appreciative of the great work the true developers do in making all of this happen. This custom ROM, however, is optimized with the best tweaks and fixes around, with a good looking theme.
As we all wait anxiously for a stable release of ICS that we can use daily, I have decided to re-theme my ROM by porting over many elements of the ICS source. v2.2 provides a taste of ICS with the status bar, clock widget, settings widget, all icons, and much more in the UI.

Basic Installation Steps for Data2SD
hdnebat said:
Install ROM (CWM)
Install the A2SD Killer (CWM)
Next step differs depending on whether you're reflashing your Rom on an existing install, or whether you are installing for the first time.
If you're installing the ROM for the first time:
Reboot once after running the A2SD Killer
Setup the timezone, language etc (But not your Google Account/Market)
Reboot to recovery once again and install the Data2SD Installer
If you're reflashing the ROM (after having installed Data2SD once previously)
Do not reboot after running the A2SD Killer
Install the Data2SD Re-Installer right away
Now reboot.

Did you get Tytung's permission to theme his rom and re-release it? I like the theme and all that but You didnt give him no credit and its clearly his NexusHD2 themed.

when i mean credit i mean like This is Tytungs NexusHD2 rom themed. you gave him credit at the bottom along side some other graet devs but you didnt say you used his rom as a base and to say you fixed 720p playback and other things which were never broken to be fixed in the first place. So that is kind of misleading to everyone.
going to try now..!
Thanks, finally got a message on the first page

Please note that using a rom as your base is completely fine, but with the permission of the dev. The changes you've done, is honestly really just theming and everything else an avid android user could do. Well at least you gave credit, and it's always nice to see a new rom up on the forums however, this does not look like it brings anything new to the table.
On less serious terms...
Nice theme, might want to create a thread(if there is already not) in the android theming section. NexusHD needs some flashable themes anyways.
So far so good I really like the look and feel,Ive never been a big fan of the slide animation but the rom is pretty smooth.
I'll report any findings after rom settles

3G Video Call
Hello.
Nice work, this ROM looks really nice. Congrats.
Just one question.
One thing that keeps me from moving to MIUI ROMs is the 3G video call feature that is supported in stock ROMs.
Can you tell me if MIUI ROMs already support this feature?
Thanks,

Hi,
Do u mean apps like skype or the actual phone app? the phone app will unfortunately not support it as samsung hacked video calls in i believe.
cheers.
This may be the first ever Miui rom I flash, now a couple of questions....
Is it user friendly and stable, i play games, browse and text a lot, will it last a good day or so battery?
Tethering, on a normal galaxy s rom, using android AP, i tether (quite a lot), can this rom accept tethering?
last of all, is it simple to flash? just put file into CWM, clear all and flash????
oh one last thing.... any bugs???? and can it run everything a normal galaxy rom can
**EDIT.... crunch engine....do I need to mess about with all this?????

Yeah... I meant the phone app...
Is it that hard to port the stock phone app to MIUI or CM7?
I really use it a lot... on my mobile network I have free video-calls.

For me, i simply text, call, occasional Google+ and facebook and it will last me more than a day.
Tethering should work just fine.
And yes, though ensure u are on gb bootloaders and format system, cache, data then flash.
crunch engine, you can leave as default, you can mess with it if u want to find what works best for you.

i'm not entirely sure myself, but it'd probably be hard otherwise someone would have done it already
this looks good, generally i don`t like miui because of the lag (and iOS look)
but if you said that you fixed that (the lag, not the look) i will give this a try when i have time
thanks
For me the one and only same reason. cyanogenmod is much much more smooth.. I'll test it once again!

Angelo, I am seriously waiting for DSP Manager on Froyoloco. Once you add DSP Manager to it, Foryoloco will be my permanent ROM. Hoping for the best.
Thanks

Have a lot different things i dont know if that works but you can try if you assume the risk
Thanks for this great rom. For me it's the best foyo-based rom. But seems that it has a high battery usage. I consumed 20% in about 12 hour when with the ME-UI (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1439446) ROM i consumed about 20% in a entire day
EDIT: i was wrong. When i installed this ROM it seemed to consume a lot of battery, but maybe it was only due to a wrong battery settings. I do 2-3 full charge and now the battery usage is good (the same of Me-UI rom)
Is the BEST STABLE rom but is android 2.2 and oficial so it is not so fast as cyanogenmod zester any update to make it faster? SO thanks is very good and very stable!
Man are you NUTS?? THIS POST IS OUTDATED LIKE HELL . Look, the last reply was a 7 months ago!
DO NOT REVIVE OLD TOPICS! Zester isn't giving updates and this project was finished. If you want faster roms try GB or ICS.
If you continue reviving old topics i'll report u to mod.
