So i recently installed cm7-Gx4 and i cnt seem to find the option to connect to pc nor does it pop up wen the usb is connected it goes to automatic usb debugging and thts pretty much it
I would recommend doing a full wipe, factory/data, cache, dalvik, then reflash the rom; that should fix it.

For some odd reason when I plug my phone into my computer it does not show up. I have a mac so I have to change it to camera only connection. It always used to have a option appears in the notification center for media device and then digital camera. Now it doesn't appear. I also tried connecting it to a windows pc and nothing. So im wondering if this is a wicked v3 rom issue or what.
I tried wiping cache and dalvik cache. NOTHING
Tried rebooting both the pc and phone. NOTHING
Tried a diffrent pc. NOTHING

After I flashed one of the recent deodexed leak roms my pc would no longer see my phone. The phone would charge but no notification in the phone and no com port was assigned to phone. I tried everything I could find in these threads; restart the computer, use quality usb cord, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, re-install drivers, and factory reset. I even superwiped and re flashed. What did the trick was just going into download mode. The computer immediatly saw the phone and installed drivers. After the drivers were installed I restarted the phone and everything was good.
Thought I would share.
Having problems with SIM not being read on 4.2.2 CM rom (I bought the phone with said ROM installed). Decided to try to dowgrade to 4.1.1 official Stock rom. Problem is my phone will not be recognized with any USB cables. I have tried 3 cables and will try more (though I know these cables work fine) and will try a different PC tomorrow,.. but this PC is not the problem, I can tell you that.
I have tried installing the drivers provided in the toolkit and the phone is still not recognized. Have also tried installing Kies, and device is still not recognized. Have tried rebooting phone and PC and still not recoginizing. ADB in developer options is enabled.
When I say not recognized, I don't mean that Windows is popping up saying "device not recognized" - my PC is not even finding the device. There is nothing in Devices and Printers, nothing in Device Manager, nothing in My Computer... I also tried doing factory reset / cache wipe / dalvik cache wipe. Still nothing. Is there any way to flash back to stock rom using CWM restore menu via a ZIP? I can drop the file on a microSD card and restore it from there, but I don't know if there is any way to do that from CWM.

I had this problem before http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-nexus/help/bricked-phone-t2766710 but somehow it got back to life and now i had the same problem again until i managed to wipe all its data.. Now i have no os,no backups,no data,no nothing.. It's completely wiped and i can't connect it to pc because my usb port is broken (charge only). What can i do?

Try repairing the usb port,probably thats the only solution i can think of ryt now.
hello guys sorry for my english,after installing a custom pie rom and go back to another oreo rom, i loose the posdibility to transfer data to my pc, transfer data is no longer showing, i try to wip cache and dalvik, hard resitting the phone, enabling usb debugging, install usb drivers, but still facing the issue

also have an issue. factory reset and no go....
developer options dne help, or reinstalling all usb drivers on pc, or adb drivers.
You can use MTP from recovery
