When I am trying to listen to radios on the internet, the audio is very slow and very low pitched almost demonic. any solution to this, or is the adobe flash not capable of handling this?
Same when trying to see videos, video is playing normal speed but audio at half speed and lower pitched.
What Rom are you on?
I'm on EB13, stock, not rooted or anything.
I had installed it OTW from "Epic4G_FroyoUpgrade_EB13_Tool"
try re installing eb13 maybe that would help and if not you should maybe root your phone and try one of the many awesome custom roms out there.. hope that helps man!
I am running ACS Syndicate with EB13 and I have this same issue trying to stream NBA games on nba.com.

Pandora pushed out an update today. I haven't been able to test it yet, but supposedly it resolved sound quality issues on 2.2. If you never noticed the sound quality issue before, please don't reply, but for those people who have been going nuts about this, have you been able to test it yet? And if so, what rom are you on, and what results did you get?
And the reason I'm leaving out CM6 users, is because Cyanogen implemented the official google fix in his latest nightly build (which only works on AOSP builds)
I have an hour commute to work everyday. I usually use Pandora during the drive. Lately Froyo totaly screwed this adventure up. Until totay's update by Pandora. I don't think its quite 128k however its a lot better than it was. Big ups to the Devs at Pandora for the improvement. Now as far as any other music set ups, ie mp3's and other streaming audio, I dont know.

Awesome! Thanks - on my end I only heard the snap, crackle, and pops during some songs, and I wasn't sure if it was fixed, or if I just hadn't gotten to a song where I would have been able to tell the difference. The rom I'm using had a temp fix (set to true), so Pandora wasn't as bad for me as it was for some.
Thanks again!
Anyone know what could cause video stuttering while streaming in the htc roms?? I bought the NHL Gamecenter Live app and tried viewing a condensed game, only to be greeted with a constant stutter. This happens both on a speedy wifi connection and on 3g... however, after flashing over to Cyanogenmod 6, I get no stutters at all...
Is there anything that I could flash or install to improve the playback on the htc based roms?? I've tried Fresh, Myn's warmup, and Vaelpak (the one I want to use) with a couple different kernels to no avail.
Alright so I have been rooted for over 6 months and I've tried out all the ROMs there are. I finally decided on Deck's 1.3 for it's smoothness and lack of bloat. Here is how I have it set up:
Timat 4.1 + SBC kernel
Car-o-dopes tweaking
launcherpro
underclocked to about 850 mhz
No crazy themes or anything as I like speed over anything. BUT... I have been getting two problems lately: When I listen to music it will stop there will be some harsh static sound, then it will play again. This happens all the time, but more often when I'm multitasking. And the other problem is after I leave my phone for awhile it won't turn on! This happens if I leave it for more then an hour, or if I am watching youtube vids on it where I haven't touched the phone in awhile.
I have wiped both caches and fixed apk mismatches. Can't figure out what else to do. Any ideas??
I just flashed to Salvaged-Zen, and it now only makes the music stutter when I'm downloading large files at the same time. The wake issue is fixed however!
what app are you using to listen to music?
i ask because i use Power Amp, and i have noticed the same behavior only when i listen to certain files, i determined that the files were some how corrupted. i replaced the files with new rips off my CD and they do not do it anymore.
I haven't noticed a difference from songs gotten from iTunes or the market or ripped CDs. So I don't know if that's it. I use the stock music player
got it!
Finally figured it out. I flashed a CFS kernel (I was using a BFS). It stopped all the problems with the music. Makes totally sense because music is a background task
Hi guys,
So I just got my GN a couple days ago and I've been LOVING it... but I just encountered a huge issue with video recording and I cant seem to find another thread that discusses this problem. I went to a Young the Giant show a few nights ago and recorded a few of their songs but when I went to watch them tonight, the video was normal, but the audio was sped up exactly 2x its normal speed. Once the audio finished, the video continues on the phone, but on the PC the windows media player errors out and closes the video. I have 6 videos which all do the same exact thing.
Has anyone else had this issue? I would really like to know if I just got a bad phone...
No, definitely i haven't seen anything like that by now. Seems like an issue with codecs.

I thought the same thing... but this is on the stock ICS rom. It is rooted, though.
Nope, no overclocking has been done. I simply rooted the phone, keeping the stock rom in place. Any suggestions for a third party video recorder?
Wow... thanks so much for the tip Acererak, it was the volume boost app! I was using Volume+ because the phone's max volume is just so low. I guess I'll have to find another method. Thanks!
I have tried just about every infected ROM, plus some other ones (Mahdi and Candykat) with different kernels (mani and redkernel) they all have the same issue.
When I go onto the Twitch app and go into a game stream and change the quality to Source (which I assume is 1080p) after a while the video starts to lag, sound gets choppy and unsynced, and after a minute or so the stream just stops.
This doesn't happen with Stock 4.4.2 ROM though, so anybody have any idea how to fix it?
Thanks.
