Angry Birds Backup?

anyone know where the file is to backup Angry Birds progress? Want to flash a new rom and kernel and don't want to lose all my 3 stars....

Just backup data with titanium. That's what I did this morning when I flashed a new rom

Thats what I did but I don't like using Titanium Backup when changing roms and kernels. Who knows if old settings play nice with new settings. I guess for just a simple game app it should be fine. I know there is a file in there somewhere that is the answer.

If u do just angry birds it should be fine.

Google services framework keeps fc?

I Keep getting this force close notice popping up about google services framework.. and swpe a couple times.. battery's full and I fixed permissions just for the hell of it.. any nudges in the right direction?.. btw I'm running syndicate frozen rom 1.2

First question ..did you flash the journal on zip immediately after the ROM?

Go into settings>applications>manage applications>all scroll down to Google Framework Services, click it and clear data. As John stated make sure you have flashed the journal on script and do not shut down your phone improperly. Always wait until after the final vibe and lights are off on the keyboard before pulling the battery.

Thanks, I just cleared data.. and so far smooth.. I don't remember flashing the journal on zip?

Thanks .. I just did this and now market won't start up.. didn't want to keep messing with stuff so I don't screw anything up.. any ideas as to what I should do?

Clear Market data the same way. You have corrupted data from an improper shut down or freeze. You really need to flash that journal on zip if you can get good data in your phone again. Perhaps restoring a backup prior to the corruptiont then flash the journal on zip.

Titanium backup not working

Has anyone had any issues with titanium backup not work correctly?

it didn't work for me because once i restored my apps, none of them were showing up in market's my apps for updating. i'm coming from the og droid, where my apps were saved with my gmail account then automatically restored. i don't know if that was something added in the roms or if i'm missing a setting, but it's no fun.

You try launching Titanium, then going to Options, Market Tools, Market Doctor? It scans your apps and re-links them to the market.

problem i have with it is everytime i reboot it loses root and have to clear data and ropen to get it to work?

When it quits on me I open it go home and kill it in task manager, go back and it works again.

Alot of apps say not compatible...

Having an issue with one of my epics that half of the stuff in the market says not compatible, but on the other epic its fine. I know i downloaded this market enabler app and it ended up messing up my phone and im sure thats the issue, but since then i completely restored the market and all the market apps. It's still messed up. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this without wiping the complete phone?

Check your build.prop and see what your device is listed as. A text editor can view it.

already done that, everything in build prop says epic.

Can you list some of these apps so I can verify it is not just a market error? The same thing happened right after the EI22 OTA. It takes Google a week to catch up on new firmware.

Another question is are you using an app to change your LCD density? I had done so and a lot of apps said not compatible until I set to default and rebooted.

Well thats a interesting point.... i have my lcd density edited just via my build prop. im going to change it back and see if that fixes it.
edit: changing my density from 200 back to 240 doesn't fix the problem

I've had this problem before... ultimately google talk kept saying failed login. More than likely messed up data somewhere. I ended up flashing rom and delete all data dalvic and cache. When I tried to advance restore data from cwm this problem came back. Best to restore from titanium or my backup.

yeah i still cant figure it out, i think maybe the best thing to do is just restart everything from scratch.

Nooooo! Wait I know what to do
Go into applications>Manage Applications> All
Find the market clear the data and cache and restart your phone and viola it will work ....

Ive already tried this previously. however, when i do this the data and cache buttons are greyed out.

Do you mean it didn't wipe data or didn't fix the market problem? You should have to accept terms and conditions in market again to show it wiped data. As for apps still being incompatible, you need to Odin back to stock, something got out of whack...probably still something in the build.prop.

it wiped data, still didnt work. My build prop is fine. its the same as my other epic that works fine. same rom same everything. only different is one is on boost and one is on VM

That is probably it. For the one carrier, the Market probably hasn't been set to recognize EL30 yet.

Just one day it started showing the device as incompatible whereas the other device is not. Any apps that were compatible at one time? This happened to me with HBOGO then a week later it cleared up, like Google had to fix something.

Back up/Restore

What is everyone using to back up and restore apps and app data? Ive used Titanium in the past but always had some type of issue when restoring data so I stopped restoring altogether and I have been reinstalling all my apps through the Playstore. I also have Rom Tool Box installed but have not tried it to restore yet.
Is there an app out there that works great restoring apps and data and if so which one. Thanks

Titanium, one of the 1st apps I bought when I got my evo 4G/1st smartphone. I use the scheduled backup function everyday at 4.

Ever since I bought N3, TiB never worked for me, at least scheduled backup didn't. It takes less then 10 seconds for it finish backing up apps with new data, and when I sort by new backups, I see most apps where not backed up at all.
I've sent several emails to developers, but it's like sending it to a black hole, no responses.
It's a shame really, as TiB used to be the best.
Hellium is a good alternative too, especially if you are planning not doing root for a while, but it fails to backup/restore a lot too.

Thanks guys gonna try MBUP tonight and see how it does. I never had any luck restoring data.
Has anyone restored their app and data from 4.3 to KK yet? If so was it ok or did you have to do anything different?
Reason I ask is because going from 4.1.2 to 4.3 I and many or all others I should say had an issue woth TIBU and the TIBU restore app was created.

The playstore doesn't list "My Apps" anymore, how do you restore the apps now if you don't remember them?

Oh I also restored when I updated without any issues. Been using this app over 4 years now.

Did you back them up with anything? Also why isnt the playstore showing your apps thats strange unless yoir not signed in to your Google account. It has to be that. Check in playstore if your signed in. When your there slide your finger from left of screen to right and you'll see the menu. On top it should have your email sign in.

I did not know that's where they hid that!
It used to be on the menu button.
