Just tried to flash V4.7 but sometihng went wrong. The flashing went ok. But after booting the firstboot screen comes up (where you pick your carrier, choose your language and can transfer data from your old phone). I went trough the steps.. and after the last step it suddenly forced closed before loading the home screen. My screen went black and i couldnt see my homescreen. I recovered the V3.1 ROM trought a backup.. downloaded V4.7 again from coredroidroms.com and tried it again. Same problem.. :S Anyone else encouters that problem? I'd set my language on Dutch (Dutch) but that can't be the problem right? Maybe you can help me out!

I flashed RCMix HD v5.1 Last night and everything was ok. Today I saw that RCMix HD v5.2 came out and I tried to flash this Rom, However everytime I got to boot, I get to the Screen Lock which I scroll down and it stays on the "HTC Logo". Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Fixed, I just installed RCmix DH again. However all my contacts are screwed and it bugs out when trying to click on them and asks me to force close? Any Ideas how to fix this?
Yes wipe all and install again.
Go to the ROM thread and check the advices of the dev when upgrading from 5.1 to 5.2 (maybe he asked to do a full wipe first)
WiFi "error" on Desire. WiFi fails to turn on, displays Error, after a few secs.
Hello everyone,
I hope someone can help.
My UK HTC Desire has started erroring on the WiFi when you try to turn it on.
I have tried numerous things to correct the problem but nothing seems to be working.
I have...
1) Rebooted and reset the cache,
2) Rebooted and done a factory reset,
3) Rebooted and tried restoring to an earlier ROM (Even going back to the stock Virgin Mobile backup)
4) Rebooted and tried different radio ROMs.
After doing all of the above. When I restart the phone, I can turn the WiFi on and it will connect. If I turn it off and try to turn it back on I get the Error message again.
Please help, as I'm eating into my data plan.

Mine did the same with Insertcoin which is a CM7 based ROM. I swear it's the ROM that broke it. Good news is it's temporary, bad news is fook knows how to fix it!!!

TouchPal-d from my Desire running Supernova Extreme Rom - 450 apps and counting. .
I've been trying to figure out for the last hour or so why this rom hasn't been flashing correctly.
1. I've already loaded DZ HBoot onto the phone with S-OFF and had loaded the SenseGinger 3.0 Rom. Loved the layout but it was kinda slow for me. So that's when i was looking up other roms and found RunnyDrOiD v5.0 By PVTEAM.
2. next thing I did was download the Rom Manager, Flashed ClockworkMod Recovery sucessfully and selected install rom from sd card, (in which I had loaded the RunnyDroid rom on my sd card already.
3. Im in Recovery, wiped data, and the installation started. The problem I'm facing is that the installation says it was sucessful and says Rebooting, but the progress bar in the background is still going (looks like it was at 25%). Phone Reboots. Now it'll first start up with the HTC Logo, shuts off, then reboots again with the HTC Logo then goes back to clockworkmod recovery. I attempted to do it again, but still have the same results.
Anyone have any idea that I'm facing this problem? I really hope I can get this on my phone as the RunnyDroid rom looks really clean looking, and with other users reporting it to be fast, It's driving me nuts that I can test this rom out! *sad panda*
Anyone's help or support is greatly appreciated.
actually lock this thread. found out what the problem was. I flashed the wrong hboot. Be sure to use the DZ HBOOT FOR ANYONE HAVING THIS PROBLEM. Thank you all anyway.
I recently RUU'd from ViperX to my CID's 2.17 then upgraded via OTA to 1.36 hboot and the Jellybean Sense 4+ update. My cid is 044. I then rerooted, full wiped and flashed Insert Coin 13. I soon after noticed a problem that I get on every reboot. It will reboot up till the part where it starts to load Sense and then it pops up a message along the lines of htcdialer has stopped and then I get a black screen (I can only see the top status bar) and I'm unable to do anything with my phone from there. I'm able to flash any of the JB custom ROMs and use them fine until I reboot. I've tried this with IC 13 and Maximus 8.5 so far, and I have performed a superwipe as well as a full wipe via their Aroma installers. I was going to try ARHD 15 next but the download times on both mirrors are just outrageous. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this or have any idea what I could do to fix it? Thanks a lot in advance.
Hey guys,
I talk for my girlfriend, because I mod her phone. She got a Desire Z. We rooted it, installed cwm (phone bought brand new and s-off) and flashed lots of firmwares. We stucked at the mildwild rom (gingerbread) and it worked perfectly. After a few months she decided to switch the rom and we had everything, from jelly bean to kitkat and we decided for the coolos gingerbread miui. The phone started getting slower and it had many force closes and I wasn't able to modify the launcher as she wanted (I wasn't able to fix all issues for landscape, if anybody knows a solution, please tell me) and we got back to the mildwild. But the random freezes didn't stop. We've got the following issues:
- if she installs a specific office app, the phone stucks in a bootloop
- phone randomly freezes
- issues are the same, even if we change to another custom rom
what we did:
flashed several roms and wiped dalvik cache
what we not did:
we didn't took a look into the logcat and we didn't try to flash a stock rom again.
edit: actually we record with CatLog the logcat.

Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
logcat recording finished. Because of a missing pc, we recorded it with an app and I splitted it to 2 files.
I see nothing special, just some crashes in go launcher and miui lock screen...
We've got a new log (smaller one)
At the time of 16:05, the screen stopped reponding. If you turn on the screen, you can unlock it and do everything you want, if you got in the launcher, everything stops. You can change with the home button to another app, but you can't do anything in the app. It rotates without problems and you can make whatever you want in the lockscreen, but somewhere else nothing happens if you touch on the screen.
Also we've changed the Launcher from GO Launcher to Acelauncher.
