Sup guys, this is my first time posting an issue and I really know I'll get the best response due to all of the Threads I've read on this Forum!
I'm using PHM Registry Editor but when I try to create a new key, I keep getting an error: unable to perform this operation. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? Am I using an old version of the registry editor and if so can I please know which Registry editor is the best one to use?

Think I found it...
I think I found what is causing the issue. I have not unlocked the application on my phone so I can edit the registry as I wish too. Can someone please email me the app unlock?

Well that came as a bit of a shock......
I went to the section and could not find my topic Programs/Utilites & Games ~ working on the Touch HD.
I see it's now been moved to this section.
The Wiki however does not now seem to be working!

Hi, I haven't been on here in about a year and although I did search I still cant find what I'm looking for. I am trying to Chang the links and names in "TF3d Internet" I have done it a long time ago but have CRS and forgot how. I know you need to find a certain file and then use an editor to modify it but cant find the links to the threads (Lost all my Fav's) so can anyone have the links?...Thx...Tj

After root (toast's step 1 and 2), I can't find a lot of paid apps. I've read that it is due to the build.prop file. Where can I obtain a new copy of this? Or how do I fix the issue?

this belongs in the questions board, not the Dev board.
three simple solutions:
1) make your own
2) install a ROM which already has one
3) extract it from a ROM and load it yourself manually

How can I edit xml file of this kind? I tried notepad, Wordpad, nothing works. Will it work if I pack edited file back to apk?

Question from 2 posts above stands and is right on money. Having said that, have you tried posting in the right section of the forum (Desire Q&A) or using notepad++ for editing?! Don't answer here, this thread needs to be closed.
