ive had the xperia for around 6 months , downloaded lots of software/games etc. but none of them really appealed to me. CoD2 , NFS.. anyone know any good games that are fun to play on the x1 ?
and games that arent too big , i like my x1 to be light and quick
Games on Windows Mobile are a big fail IMO, one thing that kept me entertained for a while tho was that SPB brain evolution... but... this comes second only to SOLITAIRE! lol

Ya. My gf was feeling bored waiting for the bus the other day so I passed her the Need for Speed on my X1, but she was asking whether there were any other no-brainer games (like those in the iPhone). Well, haven't come across any good ones.
Some games that don't require too much brain activity. Maybe 3D Mines does...

Just google them if you want more details. Of course, there are lots of nicer 3D games from e.g. Gameloft, but they take longer to start and it's harder to play them etc.
How about Xtrakt?
If you like point & click adventures, you can try teh scumm vm emu to play games like Diskworld, Monkey Island, Broken Sword.....

Madden 10 plays well on X1
Experiment 13 really is a nice game. Fast and clean 3D graphics and fast response to inputs. This one, along with Xtrakt, have the most "non-phone" feeling of WM games I played.
Sonic unleashed from gameloft... 5/5 stars from me.. feels like yesterday i playd on friend some gadget... but it vas mozre than 8 years ago.. cool game

i got it because of your recommendation, and it's worth playing!!
sonic unleashed is a little bit difficult to control, but it has very beautiful graphics
would be nice if you could tell us more great games like that

How you manage your X1 battery to operate for 23 hours? Mine already runs out on the 5th hours while playing bejeweled...

hehe sorry but you've understood me in the wrong way
i hadn't managed it in one piece, played a week and charged always my device
i've got the same problem with a 4.8 valkyrie rom, but i look forward to install the extendir rom of YYYYY (hammamet) that semms very promising

I tried it out but truthfully, it felt a little corny to me. I did like the fact that they cursed a bit but the game took too long to start up imo. I'm extremely impatient with tactical rpgs lol.
Crusade of Destiny, I still have that on my EVO, usually about 13+ hours of gameplay.. lots of time spent leveling up.. try it out.

my daughters just laughed when i mentioned monkey island as we played the original 20 years ago you just cant put a good game down eh?
Raging Thunder 2 looks good so will give that a try also.
(Outrun was not available last I checked)
You could also try Pool Break Pro, nice and beautiful game!
Monkey Island 3 is not 20 years old ! Graphisms are very beautiful, but I did not try it under Android..
But you have to compress it, if you want to gain some place, and speed it up!
Also, Frozen Bubble is a nice game, but not really impressive, just beautiful..
There's Tux something (was Tux Racer on Linux, but I dont remember its name under Android), which would be impressive too!

Free for a few days. No Ads. Controls kinda suck but seems like they recently added adjustments. I turned everything down pretty low and it feels much better.
Beat the first level and it was fun. Specially for free.

Yea, there's been talk about Asphalt 8 in the game thread in this subforum since before lunch time(on the east coast). I've been playing it since before 1 o'clock today. Awesome sequel in my opinion! I love it!!

Don't have real racing, but thus far graphics are great. It plays much on this device than it does on my HTC One.
If I recall correctly, wasn't there some discussion about how this game would be optimized for the N7?
In the game thread, someone said it didn't look good. I was planning to just play it on my Note 2, but it looks great on my N7 FHD, so I haven't even played it in my Note 2 yet. I've installed it on it, I'll try it to compare, but it really does look AWESOME on my N7 FHD!! I actually played for hours earlier! ZERO complaints!!! Well worth more than the .99 price tag!!

Just downloaded it yesterday. Well worth the .99 price. It was smooth most of the time, although there are a few times when it's glitchy. Also I didn't think the graphics were as "good" as promised. Shadowgun/Dead Trigger on my old Nexus 7 had them much better.

I was looking forward to the release of Asphalt 8 so when I woke up yesterday morning, I checked the app store immediately to see if it was there; sure enough it was! I downloaded it and played it all throughout the day. Overall, it is a great improvement over Asphalt 7, but I am still just not fond of the menu system. I actually kind of prefer the simplicity of the menus from A7.
Graphically, a good amount of improvement and the nice thing is you can adjust the graphical settings. I like that games have been providing this option. As far as the graphics compared to Real Racing 3, I think they are on equal grounds. RR3 is a more realistic-looking game with overall bland racing environments and some really bad aliasing, but A8 uses real cars in a more arcade, vivid environment and it doesn't have nearly as bad of aliasing. One aspect that I am not quite as pleased on is the framerate. It's just not as fluid as Asphalt 7 on the N7 FHD. Of course, this is likely due to the increase in graphical improvements made and that I am playing on the high graphics setting, but that's partially why we got this game right? I think they'll further optimize the game so this will be less of an issue. I have run this both on my HTC One and my N7 FHD and it runs better on the N7.
Still, I am have a blast playing it and, despite the couple of quibbles I mentioned, the game is better the its predecessor.
This game is great, online is great too.
Bought the game today. It runs really smooth and it looks really great on the n7. Gameloft did really well on this game. I'm enjoying every second of it. And for only €0.89 it was well worth the price. Haven't tried online yet though.
I definitely recommend the game. You won't regret it!

Ive had fun playing games on devices such as riptide gp 2 but this is the first time ive played a game and was literally smiling, yelling at my screen the entire time. Gameplay is amazing, music works extremely well, graphics are impressive. Not a single complaint. Well worth the 99 cents i paid for it

Put the graphics on high and it is a bit laggy. But overall it is really good attemp and worth 99c
