HDPI for sure. HDPI-v4 is the same just shows that way if it was decompiled and recompiled
How come so many cm7 themes, once installed and selected on theme chooser, give the error message on the incredible, "Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size"?

Because they are both HDPI AND MDPI and the xml its throwing the code. i you were to download only an HDPI theme it will not do it. you device is safe.
Folks I'd like to thank/thanked each one of you.
My Inc is now in my wife's hands, but occasionally needs some refreshing
These are all questions I would have or did ask myself, Nice to know, Thanks!

Not every theme changes all icons, sometimes only certain
things
Some themes change more, some less.

oh im not complaining lol, maybe the dev that made the theme, might be able to change the icons hahah... if not its cool no big deal... i can live with a little bit of green in this awesome theme!
Should be easier to edit the finished apk`s and sign again, but
at the moment, don`t have the right links how you can do this!
I merged the theme with cyanbread icons so now you will have blue icons for
browser,messaging,phone,contacts,video,downloads,calender,etc.. and also edited the wireless icon on notification area because it didnt look right on the original theme i have attached the apk this post.
Thanks alot!

Hey guys,
I was fairly disappointed by the amount of gingerbread styling left over using apps that havent been designed to use the new holo theme.
I have taken it upon myself to remove the default gingerbread styling and move to the holo resources.
This fix is all xml and uses no additional images.
To incorporate I believe you can just move over the styles.xml to framework-res.apk/values/styles.xml
Anyone using this theme please provide feedback since there may be buggy or incorrectly themed instances throughout.

No, it adds most holo theme elements such as menus, progress circles, scrollbars, etc.
BlackDino,
Can you merge this fix to your FULL ICS?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1588613
It's a COLOR Gradient Fix in System Settings for ICS because the Color Gradient there is not good and heavily jagged.
Thanks a lot. LOL.
Thanks so much for this
I ported styles.xml to my mod for Captivate and of course gave you credit!

Updated,
New version up guys. Change your styles.xml
Wow. Looks beautiful. At last ICS seems complete. Unfortunately changing the list popups background to dark sometimes causes letter color issues. For example in Tapatalk. But it is not a big problem for me. Big thanks for this mod.

With Tapatalk 2.0 and b2 you should have white menus

ah, thanks man.
Ill fix the progress bar on the next version.
As for any weird colors on menus I can't really fix them.
This is from app developers using inline styles and not following the android style guide lines
Impressive! New Color Gradient Fix will be up again soon because I found there's still some places which have ugly Color Gradient. I think you'll need to update soon. LOL.

This theme does nothing more then to replace the gingerbread styling in legacy apps. Are you sure you're not just over looking the theme?

Would it work to theme the actual cm9 rom to get things themed that themes can't get such as lock screen? That's the only thing I can think of right now but I'm sure there's more things. Would this work or does the theme replace any files that would change whatever was changed from the original rom?

Yes it will work just fine. As long as the theme apk doesnt interfere with what your themeing it will be just fine. I'll break down what the theme is..
Essentially it is a redirection. It has the drawable folders just like the ROM for whatever DPI, in the epic's case HDPI. How it works is a redirection XML will shoot the application to another XML which is written to specify what goes where. Such as the status_bar... you would place that image in the Drawable-HDPI and the XML for the SystemUI.apk would be written for that [email protected]/status_bar.png if you catch my drift.
Of course its a bit more complicated but that is the essential. just an FYI if you decide to ever make one.
Ya I get what you're saying. I have thought of making a cm7/9 theme but never had time. But I think I want to just add a little more to the theme that hasn't been done.

Ya I know that I meant that they're both used the same way, like the lock screen isn't themed from the theme itself. I know that I can't use them on both roms lol. I may have asked a dumb question earlier about contacts but I'm not that much of a noob to try cm9 themes on cm7 lol. And the contacts was just because I don't have experience with cm9 lol this is the first time I ever ever actually use it lol.

Have you edited the background in the themes apk and decompiled/recompiled? If you have you've broken the signature.
