I love the CM7 rom (I'm using an unthemed RC2 right now). However, I would like to know if there is a way to push the transparent dialer (contacts.apk) from shadowrom 2.2 to CM7. I am a noob when it comes to modding, and I apologize if this is covered somewhere else - nothing I came across made any sense to me.

Alright Guys I do not know if this has been done yet could not find a forum for it. I really want to get the notification tray to be transparent like in Froyo. I am currently Running Gingerbread CM7 RC0
I have changed the correct png file but nothing I do seems to work.
Anybody who has a pre-compiled zip or any info that may help I thank you up front.
I am using Riptide 9's Color 'n Clear theme and I have a transparent notification pull down...
Sorry Let me make an edit. I meant in Gingerbread. I am currently using CM7 RC0.
Doe something like this exist? I have been looking all night (just got an EVO, moved up from a Hero that died)
Really like the white theme of Froyo, hating the Gingerbread standard style. Anything other than Frost that does this? I like the gradients of the stock Froyo theme
Bump... I would also like to see CM7 look like CM6 . Gingerbread is so... dark. I'm depressed after using it for 10 minutes.
Check out retrodroid theme here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1014773 but for the icon, you can change it using ninjamorph from market. However, i still not able to change the phone icon for some unknown reason (always fc). Cheers!
I was wondering if there was some way to get the froyo notification bar on an Gingerbread based ROM. I love CM7 but I just love the way the bar looks at the top of the screen in CM6. I'm actually on CM6 right now from CM7, but no GPS/WiMax (I'm using SNAPTurbo Kernel), and a few other things that are so great on CM7 are missing from 6. I'm so torn
i would love the froyo bar for sense 2.2.
hopefully this bump will help
You can do it yourself if you just replace the images from cm7 with the images from cm6. If you don't know how to do that there is good info in the themes section. It wouldn't be too difficult just a little time consuming.
i have this problem in froyobread 002 by dear doixanh
all the color of notifications are black as same as their backgraund.
what should i do?
Use uot online theme kitchen. Very easy.
A drop of Chuck Norris's semen was placed on Android OS. We now have CyanogenMod.
Hey guys. So I'm running Kings Unleashed R5 w/ Gravity On Ice theme and couldn't be happier with it. I'm kinda new to theming so I apologize for the noob question. I found and downloaded an icon pack for GOI which had about 10 in it. What I'm trying to find out is does this mean that's all I can use? Are widgets from other Sense roms compatible. I can't find it now but there was a Pandora 4x1 clear widget that I really liked. I've searched the forums only to turn up nothing. Anybody can help I'd really appreciate it.
If thats all the icons that it had in it, then yes. That said you can use any icons you want depending on how you want to install them, ie via root explorer by swapping the .png files, pushing them or via your launcher if you use adw or lp. Im very new to this so I'm not sure on the sense widgets. I would think that so long as they arent for a version of sense that's newer than the one on your rom you would be fine, but please verify before trying as I dont use sense often (waiting for virus to finish fixing his kingdom port). Oh and no idea on that widget sounds sweet I like clear backgrounds. Hope this helps
Hi guys,
I'm currently running bigxie's JB4.1.1 on my GSM Galaxy Nexus - so far I'm pretty happy with stock; just missing a few things. I was hoping someone might be able to point me to an updated clock percentage mod (using the framework from 4.1.1) and possibly a T9 dialer that will replace the existing one.
Lots of development going on right now so it's hard to find this stuff. Thanks!
I was able to find a battery percent mod that was updated recently but would still like to see a replacement stock t9 dialer if anyone knows of such a beast. Thanks!
