add to prepackaged themes or use root explorer to replace in system/framework/services.jar

[THEME][18/6/11] HoneyComb (sort of) Theme For Villain ROM

**NO SCREENSHOTS**
Currently Being Re-Worked So It Doesnt Look Quite So Crappy.....
Simple little honeycomb type thingy for VR1.2
Honeycomb Battery Mod.
Status Bar Icons.
Skinned Notification Tab.
System Font.
Blue Overscroll.(NOT 1.4)
Various Bits Of Random Blueness.
Appropriate Walls.
Compatible with the advanced power menu. (NOT 1.4)
Its not much but I'm no android themer, as you can see . Just had too much time on my hands today....​
The Widgetlocker skin is available from here.....​
Compatible ONLY with VR1.2 / 1.4
Flash the theme via recovery and apply whatever else as you see fit.

It will only work on Villain ROM. If I knew 1.4 was gonna be out so soon I wouldn't have posted this so early and spent more time tidying up the rough edges.

Well.....
The overscroll glow and advanced power menu compatibility are proving too much for my meagre android knowledge....
However Ive uploaded a zip without those...
Back up first as always.... I have a tendency to make stupid mistakes... should be fine

Is there a possibility to create this theme as well for Cognition S2 v1.07 ?!
Will be really great I like your honeycumb theme really ... specially the font !

nice theme....but the android logo in the statusbar is quite annoying

No sorry.
The font is sony sketch and you can install it by the usual font changing methods.

Its real easy, google something like change android system font or use the UOT kitchen

i am getting dizzy everytime i see same pack of features enumerated in defferent order (and most of them are kernel features btw) and released under some ROM name
and the limit of posts that you can start a thread in this other section was not set just because of to piss of people i guess, same with posting lings

This ROM has uniqe features like the Zeus Engine and a unique theme... if you have a great idea, you can always post here to make this ROM better

It is always possible not to flash the ROM.
I get that you point out that it's in the wrong section, but criticism on the ROM is reserved for people that have tried the ROM.

Great work. The multi dpi was an unexpected surprise. . Great theme, very happy with the speed. Only snag that I've found is a soft reboot when using miui lock to access SMS.
Edit, I had forgotten to assign SMS app to lock - NO SNAGS SO FAR!!

Since I know nothing in theming I have a "little request". I don't want a whole theme but I would just a theme (with vrtheme? So it can be universal) for black background/black pop-up or at least the black pop-up (menu for the system, long press on screen, widget list, and some apps like for the black background). I know some apps uses their own background for example and not the system background but with the link below, actually all my apps have now a black background. I just miss the pop-ups...
I say "at least" because for the black background I use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688896&highlight=black+background but unfortunately the pop-up remains gray
I know there is some themes with black pop-up but these whole themes doesn't suits my needs and I don't know how to edit them to have just what I want...
A "all in one" black background/pop-up would be great
So if someone could do that I would be very grateful

Hi,
I have no doubt about that, therefore I request this to all the themer's
Because I have not any knowledge in this kind of mods... But here some themer's make a hell of a job for a whole theme, that's why I think just a black background/pop-up is softer. Maybe I'm wrong...

Do you know how to pull your framework of your current rom and send it to me?
Edit: nevermind, I had a brain fart. Here is the VR theme to black out pop ups and backgrounds.
Let me know if it works, it works on my device.

Sweet thanks dude. Flashed on mine running Paranoid Android 1.9.9, all look fine so far Just been trying totthink if ways to test the differentppop ups.
Thanks again man, I really should look at doing this stuff myself.

Thought I'd add some screen shots. Couldn't think of a way to get a middle pop up though :-/

All is fine with CheckROM EvoHD V4, just Play Store that has a white pop-up (just need inverted gapps for this if I remember right), other than that it's perfect for all that I have tested. Black bacground and black pop-up this is what I wanted, everything was gray is now black

Hi,
I'm not sure that it will work on Jelly Bean rom... It's not a whole theme, just black backgrounds and pop-ups. The blue icones from my screenshots come from another mod, just in case
You can try but Nandroid backup first
And just flash it via CMW.

[Theme] [vr] (Phonesky.apk) yellow+blue,blacked out

I made this as I like yellow and blue and along with a blacked out background just looks great. I own a i9300 xhdpi device but "should" work on all as I themed all drawable folder's.
Try and let me know if it works for you're device and if I missed any pngs or XML
Installation:
BACK UP! "You're Own risk remember"
download the zip
Enter recovery (cwm)
Flash zip.
Phone will auto reboot
Enjoy

Can you please post a screenshot of the Google user selection if you have more than one Google account?
I'm using MyLifeRocks10's Inverted Multi DPI Play Store ATM, and the second Google user name is white in the selection.
That's why I'm asking for this ... just curious if it's black in your Play store version.

I like the "plain" black and white theme ... so white text on black background.
Here is a screenshot of the Google user selection in my current (inverted) Play store (by MyLifeRocks10):

2. You should remove your googlemail address from the screenshot

He uses my inverted apk as a base for his multi-dpi mod. The invert is mine entirely, so you should report those issues to me. In which case, duly noted. I'll try to fix at some point.

Hello there I'd just like to point out that nothing of you're work was used in this or anybody else's. Only thing used is @Spannaa vr template and trial and error. I'm not saying you are saying this but for me this is not clear.
