Since the DST change thus weekend my eb13 epic chooses the.wrong time zone after rebooting the phone. Anyone else having this issue?
Update
Figured it out. POS airave is the culprit. I should know by now that is always the cause.

My phone is messing up. On the time it is 20 minutes behind. For example right now its 1:48 but my phone is showing 1:28. Any ideas why its doing this? Or how to fix it? Also if it helps im running the latest pyromod and i had been running it for a few weeks, this just happened out of nowhere.

This is obviously a silly question, but if you just manually set the correct time, does it revert back to the incorrect time or?
Go to settings then date and time and change the time manually from there

I just wanted to check if anyone else is having issues with the newest SetCPU update? I'm getting superuser permission notifications like every 5 seconds and they've just been filling up the su log.
I've never had this problem before, no other app is doing it, and I've tried wiping the data for superuser and SetCPU. I looked at previous threads about this issue, but everyone suggests turning off superuser notifications. That's not the answer, as that's just ignoring the underlying problem. Any thoughts?

Looks like others on the market are having the same issue. I'll just sit tight.

I'm having the same issue. Not sure what the problem is.
I had the same issue after the update, I disabled my profiles I set and it went away. I guess that's causing the superuser issue.

Are you all having problems with the release that was pushed tonight?

What build are you on? I'm on fc06 and haven't had it happen.

Update just went through. No issues here
I had the same issue. I was on FC05 when I initially updated to the newest. Had to uninstall.
Setcpu got updated on market and new update fixes the su problem...

I updated soon as the update came up and was getting annoyed by the permission pop ups. I just contacted the developer and told em. He told me to turn off notifications till he comes up with a fix. Which he did pretty quickly! Anyways what I'm trying to say is b4 coming to xda about it why not contact the developer directly to notify them

Go to settings and the date and time and uncheck the automatic time zone and date then set them to where they need to be then recheck the auto boxes should be fine after that
Already try it and didn't work out.

I got it working now Thank you very much!
After you got it working, did you reboot and is it still fixed? Because im having a similar problem BUT i think its Root Call Blocker that messes it up after every reboot.

After reboot I have to do it all over again.
No matter what is done, time zones keep getting screwed on reboot. I think the problem is that the checkbox "get timezone from blah" is not getting stored in the database (or wherever it should be stored), just the session.
I'll look into this, and report back. No promises...

Thanks. Maybe we shouldn't reboot !
The value in the db is okay. Something is modifying this on boot. If you watch closely, the phone boots and time is okay. And then the timezone reverts to zero and so does the time.
I'll keep investigating... Happy Father's Day.

HELP!
Hi there,
I am from PR experiencing the same issue with timezone since upgrade to ICS 4.0.3.
Where can I obtain the Titanium Backup?
What apps do I have to kill in order to avoid modifying the time\date after restart?
I am really happy to see your post with a resolution to this lame issue.
I don't understand why my timezone is -400 on this phone when it's really -500 everywhere else...does anyone have an answer for that?i am eastern timezone

Hi, I have somewhat a similar issue as everyone else on this thread. If I use the Automatic TimeZone, it resets the Time Zone to +00:00. I have tried what ejcortes says, but I still get the same issue. All this started once ICS was updated at the store. Any clues?
I had the same issue since the update of ICS. Tmobile have a new update for ICS and that fix it. Check out the support site in Tmobile site for the update.
I'm running "Darkside eVolution" and almost every time my phone reboots, or restarts from shutdown, and sometimes just randomly, my notification bar clock will have reset itself from Pacific Time, to Greenwich Mean Time. And depending on the time of day, (or night) the date gets whacked too.
Its weird because the settings are still checked the way they should be. Maybe someone knows a WY to fix this? I would sure be a happy S.O.B. if there is a way.
Thanks in advance.

That is a bug on all 4.0.3 roms...in 4.0.4 they fixed it...when the phone hot reboots that is what happens..No fix that's what 4.0.4 is for....

Hey all.
I have had an issue for a long time on deodexed fc09 roms. I thought it was an issue with the specific rom I was using but think it is an issue with the rom that rom was built on. I am using the stock (for the first time) fc09 posted that is deodexed and has su and I think some kernel tweaks built in and I notice the same issue. My 4g sleeps and does not promptly wake upon an attempt at data transmission. Frequently I wait 5 seconds and often even need to refresh the page or action. Anyone have a clue as to why or whay I can change to improve it?

Am I the only one seeing this. I see it happen all the time when trying to predictively id searches or map locations or anythbing of thbe sort...not to mention in this very app. This has also occured with all modems (where I used to think the issue was) and on two phones now.

Mine does that. I hardly ever use 4g unless I'm downloading a large file. So it was never a big deal for me. I don't remember if it did it on eclair or froyo roms. Its been so long...
