Will this work in the slide? I was going to buy a class 6 but this was only ten bucks more on sale it is a Patriot LX Series Class 10 16GB Micro SDHC Flash Card Model PSF16GMCSDHC10 (16GB). i'm also looking to get at least one lexar 32gb class 10 micro sd card. the only thing i'm worried about is the compatibility with my vibrant. is lexar a safe brand to use with it? (i've read that there were problems with the Kingston micro sd cards)

32GB Class 4 micro SD Shell Shocker at NewEgg 6/3 ONLY!

Today between 10am and 1pm PST Newegg will have an ADATA 32GB Class 4 microSD for sale for $49.99 (Normally $64.99).
Try this link.
That is directly from the e-mail I got this morning so it may not work for everyone. If not just go to newegg.com and click on the shell shocker deal.
Before anyone asks: I do not work for Newegg nor ADATA, I just got this in an e-mail and know a lot of people want 32GB cards but don't want slow Class 2.
Also, I have not used this card personally so I can't rate it but there are ratings on Newegg you can read.
Man, just ordered adata 16gb class 6. Sure could have used that space!
I bought a Patriot 32gb, class 4, at Fry's for $69 on Tuesday. Came with a $20 rebate ($49 after rebate). Good buy.
I had issues with my sandisk 32gb, class 2, my evo had some issues recognizing it.
I just bought a sandisk 32g class 10 card and it works great.
Sandisk sux
I bought a 32 gb card and after about 6 months nothing would format it or read it.
I rma'd it back for two 16 gb cards due to them not having 32 gb in stock for a month. And they shipped me one 16 gb card. Now another week for the second card. No more of my money.

When did they start making a class 10 MicroSD card?

Patriot 32 GB Microsdhc Class 4 $39.99 after rebate

I saw this on slickdeals and thought it was something you guys might be interested in. Fry's currently has the 32GB MICRO SDHC CLASS 4, PATRIOT PSF32GMCSDHC43P on sale with a 25 dollar mail in rebate making it $39.99 after rebate. You may need to pay tax/shipping based on where you live.

It's only class 4. I think you should have a class 6 to get optimized speed and 720p video recording. Any deals on class 6?

You sure about that? My 16GB card is rated Class 4 and I've had no problems with video. Just spend the 4th of july weekend at the beach making videos of my little girls playing in the sand and flying kites.
that's still a great price, i paid a little under 50 on ebay for a class 2...
Dang, got my hopes up. Deal is dead, OP lock the thread.

Thanks, I just ordered one. This is exactly what I've been waiting for!
Let me know how it works out when you get it. I still have my sandisk 32gb class 2 and always had issues with my recorded video skipping.
Swyped from my Supersonic
I was able to get in on this Patriot 32gb Class 4 deal from Frys (like with 30 mins until the deal expired). I've received it and it works great. I've been using Class 4 cards to record 720p video via my Pentax DSLR for years now with no issues at all, and using a 16gb Class 4 in my Evo without issues either. I'm sure Class 10 performs better, but Class 4 is definitely good enough, especially at $40 for 32gb.
I suspect that this is the beginning of the 32gb Class 4 cards getting down into a more reasonable price range, especially with all the Class 10 coming out.

Suggested Memory Card

Hey there, I've been using my Galaxy S2 for several months and never got to buying a memory card for it.
What you guys think is the best of the best?
How much GB?
Which manufacturer?
Model No?
What to look for when purchasing one on ebay?
Thanks!
just got a adata 32gb class 10, had a sandisk 32gb class 4 but its worth having a class 10 in it.
the R&W speeds when transfering data to pc is alot better and when taking pictures.
read 19.6mbs / write 13.2mbs with sdtools, had the same brand sd card before and was happy about the performance.
always use H2testw v1.4 just to be sure,it was the cheapest brand for its class locally.

I have a Kingmax microSDHC 32GB Class10 and I am very satisfied.
I tested it with SD Tools and got 9.1 MB/s writing speed, but in practice, it can go over 10 sometimes, but also can go lower to 3 MB/s and such.
I recommend this card, as is not very expensive either.
card

Good choice! I also bought a class10 32GB SDHC from Samsung. It runs like hell! :victory:
I've got sandisk 16 gb SDHC class 4
and it runs like hell, so i cant imagine what class 10 is doing ....
but if you dont care spending another 10-20 bucks, then go for the class 10!
I have a 16GB Sandisk Micro SD Card. Its been working just great!
I paid 12USD.
Is it a big difference between @4 and @10? Worthy to pay more?

No, but class 10 is better (transfer, read speed)
It's Big difference. 4MB/s vs 10MB/s write speed is big diff.

How are these brands on reliability? To be honest I have never even heard of them. Anyone have any experience with the two?

I know G.Skill makes reliable performance desktop memory, not sure about MicroSD cards. You can get some sort of idea from the Newegg reviews though.
Not sure about reliability on these SD cards... read mixed reviews.. but for 15 bucks I'll take my chances turning my old Droid X into a strictly old school gaming device and portable mp3 player and switch my reliable SD card from there to my S3
