English Rom

hello to all ,
I am new in the Smartphone business and i gust got a Qtek s200 but it is in a French language,
What should I do to burn a new English rom ?
I would be glad if someone will send me an update with instructions on how to do it .

Sorry for the bothering but the section for beginners and the getting started is not yet functional, and I really don't want to destroy my S200 .
Another small question - what is the difference between ROM and Radio ROM ?

radiorom is embedded software for the gsm phone part of the device
and normal rom is the opratingsystem

So ...
So If my problem is That the OS is in french and I want to change it to English I need to change only the normal ROM ??

yeah the language is located in the normal os rom

as there are times when radio and os rom only works or works best if they are the versions shipped together

What softs are needed to make a cook rom please

i'm a newbie in the rom cooking & i wanted to know what softs and files i needed to make my own cooked rom coz i wanted to know more about that instead of just flashing my device with the work of other person !!

You can found every thing you need like software and "how-to" on this site. You just have to search.

Hello I am newbie like me recommend a ROM for my htc tytn

Hello I am Spanish English is not very applied my htc tytn and from what I have read Here are some wonderful roms my question is I would like to give an updated ROM which he could enter my language is Spanish last rom scharp serves me ? is in Spanish?
The truth is that I do not understand much help me thank you very much you are the best

i think he's asking if anyone knows if there's a ROM here in spanish, because he obviously is not fluent in english...wish i could help, but I don't know of any. sorry...

....i guess you didn't try searching. i just looked and the first one I saw was Schap's WM6 Pro 3.30a.
you can download the spanish version of the ROM here.
just make sure you know what you're doing. maybe you can find a spanish-speaking member here who can help explain how to safely flash roms.

If you can understand some English and you want to be safe to flash new ROM, it is recommended to read MrVann's guide here. It's very helpful. You can find out spanish ROM in that guide as well.

vichet007, I noticed you had Schaps' 6.1 Pro 4.40B but have changed to ShadoW 2.1TE. Any particular reason? I've never tried Shadow as I've always used schaps, but would be interested to hear your thoughts

I seek a roms than the scharp 3.54 which is the most updated in Spanish

I just want to taste new thing from these wonderful cookers. I'm also a fan of Schaps, but recently he doesn't release any new ROM to fix bugs in beta version. I'm now playing with Faria.R-32 for about 24hrs, and I can personally say this one should be the best adding to a minor bug with Shadow.

Nobody can actually tell you which is the best because it`s all a matter of individual taste and prefference.So start testing and decide which one works for you best.

Already on that tastes nothing written, but you get one of the last roms in the Spanish vere

Hi there...!
I just dowloaded and uploaded the above mentioned ROM on my P3700.
The ROM itself is absolutely flawless in the looks and feel!! Only problem though, is that the thing's in Dutch!?!?
(sorry for not noticing the 'NLD'=Netherlands before I installed!)
I would very much appriciate if this ROM could be re-released in US-language.. Is it possible to do that? I tried to change language manually, but it didn't apply for all functions.. I have come to the understanding, that it has to do with the language of the ROM, right?

there are lots off WWE rom here...just look

htc touch pro 2 format to WM 6.5

hello everyone.i got an htc pro touch 2 mobile device with an os that i dont know
it is booting and then an image with the word 'energy' appears...i want to install the official 6.5 windows mobile to my device
but i got no idea of those stuffs...any help ?
its is GSM (RHOD100)
the device can be turned on but it lags so much,so i said to reformat it
please help
(my computer uses win 7)

Don't know if it´s still there, but all roms are one htc's support website
Just one thing to know, forget about the last rom with sense. It's way to slow (the sms app made by htc...). Just get the normal wm6.5 rom instead

can you share any link please ? I cant find anything. Or any custom rom ? I need speed and battery . I dont care for beauty. I made my htc not boot anymore because i installed cdma rom . Hahaha

I have the French stock rom somewhere and can share it to you if you want
Elsewhere, try my rom (link in sognature). It's fast, with wm6.1 but htc features from the wm6.5.
I'll go find the stock roms. Which language by the way ?

my language is greek but if u cant find greek i can use english only...
i care for fast and stable ROM...i dont care if looks like nice or not..and of course i need sense.i dont know differences between versions

After three weeks, here comes my answer ! (and sorry btw...)
On the HTC website, go to support (www.htc.com/gr/support) and enter the phone model (touch pro 2). You'll get an update notification something about transcriber. Click on "see more" and find the correct update (files should be bigger than 100MB )
Hope this helps, I got that working on the french support, should work on the greek one too !
