The second most important thing, (after the phone of course) when buying a phone, to me is accessories! I love 'em and they definitely influence my decision on which phone I'm gonna purchase. I made this thread for people who share a similar interest like me to their accessories. So, share your personal favorite accessory brands/items for your phones! This could also help out some unfortunate people having a hard time deciding between accessories.
Mine Are....
• Screen Protector
Brand- Steinheil: Their screen protectors are the best out their, although pricey ($13.99 for clear & olephobic, $16 for fine), they offer 3 options (oleophobic, ultra clear & ultra fine). My favorite is the ultra clear
• Cases
Brands- Case-Mate, Otterbox, Speck, Incipio
Of the 4, case-mate is probably the cheapest if you don't posses an iPhone. Their cases, to me, kinda imitate the others cases in a way but with their own twist. They have a lot of creative designs as well. I love all their silicone cases. Vroom series being my favorite. Otterbox is my favorite of the 4. They have the best protective cases out on the market (Their also is Trident. I hear Trident cases are good but they look bulky/ugly & i've never owned one). The defender is the most protective which is a hard polycarbonate outer shell which a silicone case wraps around. Then, you have Speck. I love their pixel skins which are really thick silicone cases with a checkerboard pattern engraved throughout the case. I also love their Candy shell's which are hard colorful glossy cases with a soft silicone layer on the inner part. Then there is Incipio, with their wild and thick, gaudy Dermashot cases which are all silicone. I prefer their extremely thin low profile Feather cases to case-mates Barely Their. I think their much higher quality and fit better.
Well, there you have it. Anyone else care to share?
I think Clarivue makes the best screen protectors

I have tried theirs, and they are really good. But, I think the Steinheil ones have a better texture and are a little more "not there" feeling.
All I got is a bodyglove case and a car charger. Thats all my local AT&T store has for now.

I'm using the Incipio Feather case (RadioShack) which I don't mind, but I would like to get an Otterbox Commuter. I only use anti-glare screen protectors which AT&T carries for the Atrix. I also use a Motorola external battery pack that I picked up at a Verizon store. Also, Verizon carries a Droid X Extended Battery (Motorola BH6X) which just happens to be the same one that the Atrix uses, so I have a spare battery as well.

Yeah, just google "Droid X Extended Battery" or "Motorola BH6X" and you should find it cheaper online. Just make sure it is the BH6X model number.
If you do get it from Verizon, it will be the one that comes with an extra back plate for the Droid X.

It's the same, exact battery. Same model number and size (1880/1930mAh)
I just bought the Otterbox Impact for my Atrix.
It's the first case I've ever bought for a phone. I wanted something that would protect it in case the phone slipped out of my hand. It came with a screen protector and I'm not too critical about the quality of those since I haven't used it for that long, so it's fine for now.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with products from Incipio. I have an Incipio NGP case on my zune hd and I love it. Incipio makes products for smartphones and kindles as well. I emailed them and they said they are working on the edge and feather cases for the Evo. Don't know when they will be raft but I think soon. I get my Evo next month and I need a decent case for it without find too much bulk. Are there any cases mage to fit with the extended battery installed?
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
Although you may get a level 90 or so mage to cast a protection spell over your phone, no cases are available (yet?) that fit the extended battery back. Many have gotten cheap silicone cases and cut them to fit better than nothing- at least you'd have protection around the edges of the phone.
I see that Incipio has just released their feather case for the Evo. If I didn't have the 3500mah battery installed I would pick one up they are nice cases.
Well since I have an 1800mah battery coming to be tested I may take the plunge and pick up one of the feather cases. If so, I will try to take picts and do a review.

Id be very interested to see how it compares to the Casemate barely there. While it fits great, it doesnt come up enough on the sides to protect the screen when laid face down. If the Incipio does, I will buy one. I dont use a screen protector and have never had an issue, but I like that piece of mind. My evo is currently naked.

I have the casemate barely there and I love it, it really feels like there is no case on there at all. I do know what you mean though, it provides ZERO protection for the front. From the pictures the Incipio looks like it wraps around the front. I ordered one earlier today, I'll post a comparison when I get it.
I believe it does wrap around but I am not positive on that. I was kind of hoping that they would release the NGP case for the Evo but they didn't.

Most of you probably know this, but the 'Pt' branded cases at best buy are designed, manufactured, and exactly identical to Seidio's. After learning this I just went to best buy to pick one up, instead of waiting on shipping.
Gonna check other threads now, but thoughts on seidio rugged vs otterbox defender? They're both solid, loving my seidio (Pt).
Yeah, funny thing, i just bought one 3 days ago and loving it. I have that Pt defender case and it is I believe made by the same company that makes Seidio or made by Seidio and rebranded by Best Buy. Either way, I love the Defender case they have, seems very solid. So far the only issue I have with it is that it does tend to mess with my Zagg screen a little bit around the edges, but I think I can live with that.
I have them both and they're both awesome. I find the power button easier to push with the platinum case and catch myself using that one more often.

I just purchased one, the seidio that is. To those of you with it now, how easy is it to pocket?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
The exoskeleton makes pocketing better, less rubber to slide around. It is a bit bulky, but doesn't really bother me. remember, the first layer is the 'surface' case, which I use on its own when I'm not at work or play, and is much less bulky.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
I just got my Seidio Rugged case in. I am very impressed, would recommend for sure. I really like the screen protector too honestly. It has a nice feel to it and it fills the entire screen (not like the gimpy verizon protectors).
Unfortunately, the rebranded ones from Best Buy don't include a screen protector, I purchased a freaking ripoff of a $20 zagg protector with it.
I've had several of each of the Platinum cases and the Seidio cases. From what I've seen from each one, the quality of the Platinum case is actually better than the Seidio, the felt inside my Seidio cases is sometimes offset, but not on any of the Platinum cases. The rubberized finish on the outside is peeling off of every single one of my Seidio cases, but not the Platinums(which is why I don't use the Seidios anymore, they look awful).

Yeah, Zagg screens are a ripoff, BUT, they work great too. I tested one out, and sent in for warranty replacement and they do send you one pretty quick. Just the warranty on that is worth the price to me, anytime you get a bubble or scratch, you just get another one for a cheap price. I like that about them. For me, I just got that thunderbolt and now I am looking at switching to T-Mobile...that same screen protector should fit the evo 3d decently which is what I am looking to pick up.

Does anybody know how to take the case off the phone? I for the life of me cannot do it. I have a better battery I want to put in, but just can't get the damn thing off lol.
Just bought the extended battery at Verizon for half off, also walked out with the Incipio double case. This case feels tough and sure can take s beating, great for outdoor work and kids dropping my phone. But this case is a little too thick for my liking.
But on weekends or going out would like a second thinner case. What thin cases fit the extended battery ? Anything like the Feather or Rearth slim fit ?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I just use ghost armor full body, and then I use a belt clip pouch that I drop my phone into. It is the slimmest option, I protect the whole phone from scratches, and I can keep it on my side. I'm not really worried about dropping it, because even with a case if you drop it in the right spot, you will end up with a broken phone. That's what insurance is for. At least that's my opinion. I hope this helps.
I just picked up the Diztronic case below and it fits great and doesn't add much thickness to the phone- nice and thin. I don't have my extended battery yet but per the reviews this case fits, just a little more tightly which is fine with me.

+1 on the Diztronic 3rd revision case. I am running it and I love it. I have 3 other cases and this is now my daily driver. You can even leave the extended battery cover on too. I use the Incopio when I need extra protection.
Also a big +1 on the Diztronic rev 3 case. Full access to all controls, full protection yet thin. Just about perfect as far as cases go and I have tried a few.
Diztronic has very upstanding customer service to boot!

I've been bugging Rearth about making their RingKe case to fit the Verizon w/ extended battery. This case has been getting a lot of accolades here...
With the Verizon extended battery going for $24.99, it should just come standard with the phone. At such a cheap price, and only adds like a business card extra thickness it is so worth it. Plus you may get up to 2 extra hours on it over stock.
Point being, with extended battery so popular, I would hope case companies realize this, and pump out cases that are officially designed for it.

My local Verizon store didn't have any in stock but they ordered it for me w/ free 2-day shipping. Still $24.99
I went into the biggest Verizon store in my area, called first asked if they had the Nexus extended battery, they said YES, and tons of accessories too. Go in there and they said the battery is 50% off, they had like 4 on the shelf. Just call the largest Verizon store in your area, I am sure they stock them.
I am using the phone today with no case, crosses fingers The Incipio 2pc case was just way too bulky for me, felt like a my old EVO 4G which was a giant. Back to caselsss and this phone looks awesome, the gray color makes this phone looks stealth, like something a pilot from F-22 Raptor plane would have in the cockpit I just want a razor thin case to go around this now.
Oddly enough I tried the High gloss silicone Verizon case and its is really nice. feels thin in the hand
I use the SGP capsule case. Its clearly designed for the GSM version because my Verizon + extended battery keeps the lips from grabbing the edges all the way.
But the phone is on there and not going anywhere. You'd have to really look at it to see what I'm talking about.
I'm still waiting for something specifically designed for the Verizon with extended battery.

Does anyone know if the Diztronic case works with the GSM Galaxy Nexus with an extended battery?
The best case I've tried period that also works with the extended battery is the Case-Mate Pop case. It was recalled initially due to a lack of clearance around the micro usb port. In about another two weeks they'll have the second revision out and it will be my daily driver.
I've tried the Case-Mate Tough Case, the Boxwave Active, the Boxwave Slim Rubberized Shell Case, and the Seidio Surface. The Pop case sucked less than the rest and fits the extended battery with good protection and minimal bulk.
can't comment if it's the thinnest, but it fits and looks good.

UAG black - very good protection with just enough bulk/weight combo. Also, the case fits perfectly on the phone, very high quality production. With awesome design to boot. The screen cover it brings is also the best one i've ever seen, no cheapo 3 for 1€'s from ebay even compare.

Yes! This!!! I have the exact same case its amazing! Like nothing can destroy this phone with this case!
I used a SGP Neo Hybrid since more than one year but a few month ago the polycarbonat frame is broken so I buy this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Book-Wallet...-Samsung-Galaxy-S3-III-GT-i9300-/271210987593
And I'm total happy with this Case since 2 month!
After trying about 10 cases of varying materials , shapes and sizes I chose the fake Neo Hybrid case since the origional doesn't seem to be available anymore. Build quality is quite good for under 10 bucks and if it breaks itll be cheap to buy another.
UAG is the best!! Very good quality and build. Using it with a 0,4 mm glass screen protector. Beats the plastic ones by a 1000 miles.
+1 on the bodyglove shocksuit!! The shizz.
Spigen neo hybrid now, had an Otterbox commuter for the last year. Like them both but I prefer the Spigen
Got to agree body glove is the best. Good price and doesn't make the phone to big and bulky.

most of the fake UAG case sell cheap and have letters failling off or just painted on it not mentioning the quality is not the same at all.
im not saying you brought fake one but just sharing some experiences.
also my fav case is indeed a UAG one (Scout/black) i got it from Ebay for 24$ port inclusive from a Belgian seller, i did some investigation because even if its only 10 bucks less than the official store its still suspicious, i did sent some detailed pics of the case and box info/bar code and according to the customer service : it's a original one, nonetheless i spared 10$ on it but i didnt got custom taxes.

exactly what make a UAG better than a Otterbox, Otter are nice but too bulky.
funny experience: i had 2 S3 dropped from my balcony (around 3meter)1 from a friend with a Otterbox defender and mine with the UAG without screen protector both hit the concrete on the lower edge (where the soft bumper is) result : mine nothing the other had a little (very small) crack on the bottom of the screen xD

I can't tell if the second tire tread design is the same as the first; the back appears flatter, but it just may be lighting. Either model gets higher reviews than the bubble design, and it looks way cooler.
I bought the Moto G4 version of this case, and was pleased:
https://www.amazon.com/Cimo-Shockproof-Absorbing-Protection-Motorola/dp/B01N7MTNDA
I despise the "kick stands" on smart phone cases; the phone doesn't sit level face-up on a table when the stand is retracted, and has a tendency to rock.
My G5+ carries the boring Spigen TPU case:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XD1K5S6/ref=psdc_3081461011_t1_B06WP1WB2L
The Spigen fits VERY snug on the phone, the the TPU material is much firmer than I was expecting (in a good way); the button protectors are partially relieved for smooth button-pressing. I would get the Spigen again without hesitation.

FYI, their case also does a very good job of providing a noticeable tactile difference between the power and volume bottons. On this phone, it's really easy to press volume down instead of power on. This is one of the main reasons I like UAG. They do work on the small things.

Well with not, what I consider really good options. I just went ahead and purchased this one.. if it sucks, then I will just send it back.. I would have preferred a Otter Box, since that is all I ever used.. But since they don't offer one for this phone. I just dove in and picked one with a lot of crappy reviews any. LOL What can I loose..

The built-in screen protector models usually get mediocre reviews; either folks love them or hate them. Some models get refraction, and others have sensitivity issues.
I've always purchased the self-apply screen guards and standard cases; I get more flexibility, and costs are significantly less.
Does anyone know of a battery case that fits this phone? I've been searching and can only find a few for the G5 models, nothing for the G5S+

By what do you mean battery case? I bought a case for this phone, but it hasn't arrived yet. I have already sent my Moto G5 Plus back to the store. So if you need a case I will give it to you if you want when it arrives.
FWIW, the Spigen-style case turned out much better than the Diztronic, and can be found on eBay for $2-4. Mostly corrects for what I consider to be a recent ergonomic design fad flaw: curved edges.
