Battery Full Pop-up NOT GONE? - Epic 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I did much research on this, but I found no help.
I am running EB13 Bonsai 3.0.1, and the battery full popup is still coming up, I tried many other solutions (reflashed other zips) but they don't help.
What do I do?

phone is suddenly painfully unresponsive

I've been rooted for about a month now, playing with various roms and loving it.
However, today, I decided to try FrEak's newest rom using netarchy/toasts latest kernel. Things were going pretty well for a while, then all of a sudden, everything either quit responding or is taking at least a minute to respond, i.e. notification bar, menus opening/closing, touchscreen, etc.
So I did a complete wipe, cache, etc. and flashed the latest BakedSnack rom, again, with netarchy kernel, and same issue.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm wondering if going back and re-rooting would help....but if I do, should I use SimpleRoot or the newest unrevoked?
This is killing me!!!!
Last good responding rom I had was Fresh 3.1.0.1, but haven't tried reflashing that to see if it's the roms I'm using or something wrong with my phone.
Thanks in advance.
try a different kernel.

Locking up/Rebooting with multiple ROMs and Radios :(

Hey guys,
I've beenr unning DeFrost for a while but recently encountered some lockups during heavy usage (Navigation etc). The lockups then occur more often for a while unless I refrain from using the phone.
I've tried several ROMs and radios and I get the same issue. Sometimes it locks up in standby, and sometimes in use. Occasionally I'll get a reboot too.
I've just cleared all the caches etc and am installing the rooted 2.2 stock rom frome here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=773997
Does anyone have any other ideas which may help me sort this out?
Thanks!
Ok, still getting reboots with the rooted 2.2 stock rom...
I might try underclocking the cpu with setcpu... I've took the sdcard out too.
Don't use setcpu. Looks like your device can't handle oc.
I haven't been using setcpu, I was just about to install it to help me underclock.
Its just reset twice on the rooted stock rom, with no sd card in. Could it be a battery temperature thing? I was browsing the web when it rebooted...
did u wipe everything before flashing the new rom...? or just clear the cache..?
Full wipe of everything that I could wipe in clockwork.
Edit: Except the options to individually format boot etc.
Moved to Q&A. Please don't post question threads in Development.
A lot of people have been having this problem have a look at this thread, seems like there isn't a proper fix for it yet.

[Q] Haptic feedback issue.. please help.

Alright, so a little bit of background is in order. I've been pretty active with flashing cm7 nightlies and RCs. After my first couple of days on cm7, out of no where all of my haptic feedback stopped working. Tried everything. Restoring backups, and wipes. nothing worked. i unrooted and brought the phone to sprint figuring it was a hardware defect. they do a hard reset, which at the time i didnt know the difference between that and a wipe in recovery (going to bootloader and clearing storage) i think is what they did. fixed the haptic feed back. rerooted, jump back onto cm7 and everything is smooth sailing until i wipe and reflash onto cm7 stable. day or two and good, then haptic feedback is gone again.. before raging too hard.. i try the bootloader clear storage, and BAM the white screen vibrates for the first time.. go to reflash, do so, then haptic feedback is gone.i try to repeat process but now there is no success ;(
any help would be forever appreciated.
Try flashing a different rom, specifically, a Sense-based rom just to see if you have haptic feedback. If so, then you'll know it is a CM7 issue.

I have done so. Just like the previous time when i restored to other backups and tried fresh flashes of other sense roms. ive seen a couple others with the issue, but not much info on trying to establish a logical reason for it.

i hope someone knows whats up :\
Well hopefully there is a guru out there smarter than a sprint tech

serious battery drain issues, cant find answers

hey guys,
i have looked everywhere, especially here, and couldn't find a solution.
i have recently upgraded to LeeDroid, and since then i am experiencing battery drain issues. here is the list of the things i tried:
re flashed after complete WIPE (with the .zip file)
re flashed after complete WIPE without restoring from backup
calibrated the battery
worked with current widget - keep seeing 40mA and above even during the night ?!?
worked with Spare Parts - keep getting FC when trying to view battery information
i have the matching Radio and RIL!
when i check the battery usage in the settings menu, i see that phone calls are just behund display
try to change the network type from WCDMA prefered to GSM/CDMA (PRL) kept getting 3G but no improvement on battery life
'where is my droid power' shows the phone at the top with 7.19% sometines its HTC Sense with ~5%
please please tell me what i need to do? i find it hard to believe that a custom ROM takes more battery then the stock ROM, i mean - whats the point?!?
highly appreciate it!!
Roy.
Is this battery drain showing even before restoring your apps (or any data)? If so, try a different rom but it's possible the battery is on it's way out.
well, to be honest i haven't tried flashing and installing the apps one one of thats what you mean...
battery out? meaning dying? i bought the damn thing brand new 2 months ago, when i was on stock Froyo - was perfect...
p.s. i havent restored the apps from backup - manually installed one by one...
Install the rom and don't install any apps, and see what your drain is like. If it's fine, install apps one by one and see if any problems arrive.
If straight away the battery is bad try some different roms (with the correct radio - very important) and try a stock (but rooted) rom.
If it was fine on froyo and has only arisen since installing a custom rom the battery itself is probably fine then.
yeah i guess that the only way to be sure... to install one by one...
ok man, thanks a lot!!! i was also wondering if there is an app i havent tried yet that maybe can pinpoint me to the source of the problem...

[Q] Soft buttons are completely gone. Help?

I was trying to activate the AOSP lockscreen on the HTC ONE M8 on Verizon. I succeeded in that, but when I read through the walkthrough further it said there was a way to keep the Touch Twice to Wake and fast charge features. So I continued on to flash the Bulletproof Kernel. I, sadly, didn't pay attention when it said it worked on everything except the Verizon version. Now, I lost my soft buttons and have to reboot anytime I want to switch applications. I've found similar problems, but they were unique to settings found in Cyanogen and other roms. I'm mostly completely stock. It's been suggested that I try flashing Cyanogen or something, but I'd really like to keep the camera and IR functionality.
Solutions I've tried.
Rebooting 20+ times. Didn't work.
Draining the battery, and recharging, and rebooting. Didn't work.
I found a stock kernel and flashed that. Didn't work.
Loaded the backup I had from when I installed CWR. Didn't Work.
Wiped all cache and factory reset. Didn't work.
I'm now out of idea's and need some help. Anything guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
This was the how-to I was following: htc-one.wonderhowto.com/how-to/activate-hidden-aosp-lock-screen-your-htc-one-m8-0154651/
EDIT: I just put a ROM on it. Fixed my problems for now. I still have no idea what happened though.
