I actually have a question. - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

It pertains to dark tremors apps2sd.
I have a 1024mb ext4 partition setup, 0mb swap with dalvik moved to the cache.
When I a2sd check I can see the settings appear to be correct. Problem is it's listing my ext as ext2. I seem to have everything setup right but apps don't appear to be going onto the SD card. I could be wrong maybe they are and the settings wizard can't show it.
Here are a few screenshots, I am going to download some more apps and watch internal storage and see what happens.

Answered my own question. Downloaded a few apps and the a2sd MB went down alot more than the internal phone memory did. So it seems that it is working.
Only concern now is why it shows I have a ext2 partition. Maybe I should try upgrading it again in amon?

Is my Micro SD corrupted?

I think I made a fatal error, I was putting some files onto the card, completely forgot I left it in the computer memory card port and then went on to install vista and xp which might have done this i'm not sure.
Any way to reverse what happened.
It was a 1gb now it's 10mb in the properties.

I'm guessing by your response it's impossible to retrieve my data?
If there's no way to retrieve what I had i'll do that and give it away cause I bought a bigger one.
I had exactly your problem, and the only solution i found it a format with GParted.
Under windows my sd way no more readable, while under linux i had strange files as in your screenshot.
After a format now everything works well.

Lost my internal data... but it's still there? [SOLVED]

I went from LiquidSmooth to Jelly Beans (a touchwiz-based rom) to LiquidSmooth again. Unfortunately, it looks as though my internal sd card was wiped in the process. However, my internal SD card is suspiciously full of data.

No matter how much digging I do, I can't seem to find why the internal storage is so full despite all the visible folders accounting for hardly any space at all.
These combined folders only make up 781 kb of data.
Are my old files still hiding somewhere in my Galaxy S3?
EDIT:
I found the data! It was hidden in mnt/shell/emulated.
Hopefully this helps someone in the future if they run into this same problem.

Help with Storage/Partition!

As you can see in the screenshot below the OS Occupied size is 8.63 and internal storage or partition size of ext4 is just ~23gb, Very less for a device with 32gb storage.
So i dig into this problem and found that 8gb includes my TWRP backup i took a long back ago, Now i want to delete it but i can't find it. I tried for searching backups in TWRP but there's none i think TWRP looks in ext4 that is it only searches in 23gb, not 8gb.
I spent the whole night yesterday to fix it but no success. I want my ext4 partition to take the normal space that near about ~29-30gb and i want to delete that backup. I want my partitions to be as it was before (its fked up)

SD formated as internal but can't install apps

Hello, so I followed this guide and put new 64GB MicroSD card into phone, formatted is as internal storage, moved system onto it and unfortunately it doesn't seem to work as intended - free space is still few hundred MBs as it was before and I cannot install some bigger game because it shows there is not enough space :-\
It's MIUI 11.0.2

it shows system storage is 53.49GB, but some OS parts think it's not free. I can connect it to PC and I see there is almost 10GB in DCIM\Camera and this works fine in the gallery app.
