Any 2.15.xx radio will be fine.

I would like to flash new radio 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08.zip, actually I have 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27. I have got orginal ROM HTC WWE (I restored it from CM&) and I have got at this moment Amon_Ra 2.0.1.
I did a backup in Amon_Ra, what I have to do next?
When I flasch CM7, and then flash radio to version 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08.zip, using install zip from SD in Amon_Ra, then when I restore the original ROM, it will be working or I will have to downgrade radio in CM7 to version 32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27 which original ROM had before flashing to CM7?
Is radio connected with ROM in backup or those things are separated?
Is Amon_Ra good recovery to install new radio, there are some restrictions according the version of Amon_Ra which I have to use to install new radio?
Rom and Radio are not connected with each other (from the flashing perspective).
If you flash a rom your radio is untouched and if you flash a radio your rom is untouched.
Amon_Ra is a very good recovery Just flash your radio.

What exactly do the Radio do? And what's the difference between all the different versions ?

any idea whats the best radio for best battery usage ?
I bought a DHD that already has S-OFF and currently using Android Revolution HD/4G 2.1.
I want to update to the latest Android Revolution HD (5.1.10) and just want to confirm some things...
It is recommended to flash Radio 12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2 and I am currently using 26.03.02.26_M. Is it a must to update the Radio? and will I also need to update the Kernel?
No, it's not a must to update the radio. It's only recommended. You can flash whatever radio you desire. And no. A kernel is included in the rom but if you like to flash a new kernel you can do that.

Anyway, although is a risky process, doing it through fastboot is not very difficult to do. I don't know how it goes with another radio since I updated mine to install ARHD.
Thanks guys. got it all working good now.
The newest ARHD always includes new radio.

are you 100% on this? I was sure radio had normally to be flashed via fastboot not through clockwork, respect to the developers if they do go to the trouble of integrating the flash of the radio into the rom though
I can confirm that ARHD does not include a new radio, just RILs for the recommended radio.

Dev says to flash radio they feels better for their ROM.

is possible to go back from cynogen 7 ?
I have downgraded from CM to Froyo rom (unofficial)
you need CWM 2.5 to flash Froyo roms

download and run ruu
Or use my guide, in my sig
I've tried to flash my gf's EU Marvel GSM and CWM installs Sense based ROMs without problems, but I can't get anything else working. I'm getting status 7 on every cm based rom I try.
What's the deal? Is it my radio or the cwm? Have latest cwm but radio is 7.57.39.10M.
Unlocked but S-ON.

Try reflashing your recovery from a different download source. And try to download your roms where the have md5 sums available. Check it against your downloaded ones and if they miss match don't flash.
