When creating a new appointment on my desire when selecting the date with the scroll date picker i cannot see the day of the week. A colleague has the same phone and he has the weekdays shown on the date scroll picker.
i'm using the standard agenda on the desire.

Hi,
I'm running CM6.1.1 with the standard apps.
WRT the calendar a couple of niggles I've noticed over time are that if I create an all day event:
i) the widget notifies me the week/day before but not on the actual day;
ii) on the calendar view they come up as bold dates for all but the current day but are still not very visible. The current day is also highlighted in Grey so invisible.
I missed making a birthday call on the day itself recently as I didn't get notified correctly :-(
Is there a setting I've missed or a modified calendar or theme that can I can get to highlight and notify "all day" events better ?
Thanks,
I need help in creating my own calendar.
How can I make the date series instead of being in one single line split into 4 lines so as to be starting from Sunday (or Monday) and run across until Saturday (or any other last date) in the week. Just like the layout of a normal calendar, in a week pattern.
And how can I superimpose an image in the background on the current date so that it will move along and only highlight today's date..
if this isn't possible, I would like to request the developer to look into this feature for the next update.
There is no longer a S Planner widget for the regular touchwiz screens, the only built in calendar widget I see is for the magazine ux side of things (swipe to the right). My events which are all day events (clicking the all day check box) causes the dot on the widget to show up for the day before the event and not on the day of the event, but the event details show up on the correct day. So I set an all day event for the 2nd of august and the dot on the widget shows up on the 1st with no details showing on the first but if I click the 2nd even though there is no dot, the event details show up.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I'm making myself a little calendar widget because with Simple Calendar I can't seem to get it to show me a description in any of it's appearance modifications
My question is. Is there a way to view past events or events from today all day? For instance I have events on my calendar from 12am to 1am because of a calendar sync with google from another application. I can't change that but I would like to see the 12am-1am events on Wednesday all day on Wednesday
Make sense? Can Zooper do that?
One other thing I'd like to do is color the calendar title based on what the title is. Can I set a color based on the Title string? There are only 3 to choose from in my calendar
Ok, I think i've learned from research that my 1st question is not possible yet. I'm going to have to figure a way to change the events to all day
I figured out the 2nd part of the question and for those interested
Code:
[c=$#C0TITLE#=String1?#FF0000$$#C0TITLE#=String2?#00FF00$$#C0TITLE#=String3?#0000FF$]#C0TITLE#[/c]
My calendar widget no longer shows events at all. Did Google change Zoopers ability to read the calendar data?
uninstalling the calendar update fixed the issue
Hi Folks,
I saw that #C0COLOR# actually returns the color of the calendar and not the individual event. So, i have got two calendars synced up with my google calendar. It shows Green for all events coming from calendar 1 and lighter green for all events coming from calendar 2.
My question is... is there a way to show the event color, note that while creating a new entry in google calendar you can choose the event color, and that's exactly what i want the variable to return (the color code).
